Fill Image not visible with iOS (ipad/iphone)
Hi
I created a website with Adobe Muse and I have an issue when surfing with ipad or iphone.
When you have a coloured rectangle and add a fill image to it, it's perfectly visible with any type of browser on a desktop pc.
Yet, when using iOS7 the image is not shown, I only see the coloured rectangle.
This issue only concurs when I use parallax layers. The moment I add a movement to the image, it's not visible on ipad.
What I exactly do:
image fill: adapt to fill (in dutch: aanpassen aan vulling) and centered
movement: start movement up and right both on 0. after movement: up and right both on 0. This way I can create a parallax effect.

Strange thing: the first image with the brazilian flag has the same settings as the others, and the image is visible!
Could someone please help me in this?
I found the solution/error!
my main position in the movement tab was set to 0px.
So the movement starts when i'm at the top of the page.
when i reach the image it's already scrolled out of focus.
I need to set this to the pixel where my rectangle starts, not 0px.
and that's why the first image with the brazil flag, worked correctly!
I hope it's clear, since my muse is dutch, not english.

Contacts on PC do not sync with icloud/ipad/iphone
I have a PC (Windows 7) and Outlook 2010. My contacts do not update on my ipad/iphone/icloud.com when I make an entry or changes in Outlook, and they don't update in Outlook when I make changes or entries on my devices/icloud. However the devices/icloud are syncing with one another. I need the contacts on my PC to be part of the sync but it won't work. And photos only randomly sync up to my PC. What's the secret here????? This step is not clear:
"Open a secure website to see if you can access ports 80 and 443. Outlook requires access to port 443 to push and fetch updates to and from the iCloud Contacts servers."
The link takes me to an Apple page but which has nothing to do with ports. And there is nothing to explain what it is I am looking for, how to look for it, and how to change it if needed.
Also, this step:
"Open the iCloud Control Panel and make sure that you're signed in to the same iCloud account that you're using on your other supported devices."
iCloud automatically set up a "[email protected]...." account for me so I see that one plus my original email used to open my Apple account. And the apple products show my settings under both identities.
Make sure the iCloud Outlook Add-in is active within Outlook
This add-in is disabled because it doesn't allow Outlook to function properly.

Date changes in Aperture not syncing with IOS 7 iPhone iPad
Hi, there are a certain number of photos in my Aperture library which are showing the correct date or have had the date and time adjusted but when synced to iPhone or iPad the dates are completely wrong. It seems to be fairly random, any clues?
ThanksI recently experienced the same problem wth images that had adjusted dates in Aperture. Though I can't offer an explanation as to what went wrong, I did manage to solve it.
In iTunes deselect any synced photo albums which contain images that are displaying incorrect dates in iOS7 - sync your iOS device (the albums and images will be removed). Now select the photo albums again in iTunes, resync your device - the images will be added again with the correct dates (well that was my experience. Best of luck). -
Mac not synced with iCloud (iPad/iphone)
Nothing is synced with the new install of ML. I've updated apps, made sure i'm signed in icloud but i can't seem to get anything to work.
EX: when i click on the cloud icon near the address bar, it just says that it will show open tabs on other iOS devices. i have open windows, but it doesn't work
Also, Pages is fully updated, but when i make a change on my mac, it will not show up on my ipad.
any suggestions? what did i miss?

First check that all your settings are correct, that notes syncing (mail and notes on a computer) is checked on all devices (system preferences > iCloud on a mac and settings > iCloud on a iPhone, iPad or iPod).
Make sure the notes you are adding are added to your 'iCloud' account and not an 'On My Mac', 'On My Phone' or other non iCloud account (you can do this by checking in accounts on an iOS device, or the left side panel in mail on a computer), non iCloud notes will not sync.
If you are sure that everything is set up correctly and your notes are in the iCloud group, you might try unchecking notes syncing (mail and notes on a computer) in the iCloud settings, restarting your device and then re-enabling notes syncing. -

Hey.. I have had this issue since yesterday afternoon.. Some people are saying to keep restoring again and again until it finally goes through.. I have done so like 10 times on my MAC and then I used my husband's PC and tried it 4 times.. No success.. I called apple support, but no help came from there at the end, and the only thing they were able to suggest to me is to sell me a new phone just like mine for a discounted price.. **** NO

That will only make it possibe to go backward.. You will end up back with the IOS 5, but at least you will have a working phone and it will bring back all your contacts and everything else that you ever had backed up on icloud and on your computer. There might be descripencies with the Applications but again this is an issue easily solved, you can always download them back.
Two more things: One, you do not have to download the old version of the itunes, the newest version worked for me without any issues
When choosing to download the older IOS 5.1.1, you will need to figure out whether your carrier is GSM or CDMA but you can easily google this info online..

Cloud not syncing with an iPad, iPhone 4s, and iPhone 5c
I have an iPad, an iPhone 4s, and an iPhone 5c. All three devices are connected to iCloud but none of the contacts match. How do I get all contacts from the 3 devices to update my cloud and then send back to the devices so they all match?
I want all my contacts to go to the cloud so I can clean up and delete and then refresh my devices with the contact list I want and have them all match.

When I follow your trail the only place I see "Default Account" is under the calendar section. I attached two pictures for reference. Maybe I'm just missing something. I already can't believe I can't figure this out. -
Email settings DO NOT WORK WITH iOS Devices
Vz keeps sending these "important" instructions for email port settings, BUT they do not work with iOS devices--iPhones and iPads. Last go around with this I spent over 16 hours trying to reconcile until an Apple Expert discovered "special" instructions for iOS device settings. Get with the program, Verizon.
So what are the special instructions?

Is this an apple server error?!Thom_d, you mean your 4s work smoothly? my 4s also 32gb look to be more laggy especially playing asphalt8, infinity blade2, etc... the graphic will stop for few second while you racing.. Are you sure you didn't encounter this kind of problem? About battery life, it only last for 5hours without 3g services(only using wifi). Pretty shock saw what you mention above.

Make sure the other person actually has a camera and the camera is turned on, and the video option is selected in their chat window.

BlackBerry devices do not support ActiveSync.
you have several ways, from best to less good :
1)
if your company has set up Outlook Web Access, you can use the BIS connection of your device to connect to the Exchange server (email + Address book) through the url of the Outlook Web Access. The OWA needs to be accessible from outside the company.
2)
if your company has setup an external link to the exchange server (can be accessible from outside the company), you can configure your BIS directly to the Exchange server (email only if I recall correctly)
3)
if your company allows it, on your PC you can setup your email account to automatically forward all incoming emails to a third party email (like GMail or Hotmail), and then configure BIS to connect to that email provider. You will get push email. You can then setup a reply-to: field.
4)
use a Windows Mobile phone that has the ActiveSync feature.

It should. It will only respond if there's something on the card for it to respond to, so do you have pics on the card?
And if it's messing up; try giving the iPad a restart. Hold down the sleep and home keys, past when you see hte red power down slider and until you see the silver apple. Let it reboot and try again. That can clear up any glitches on the device itself.
