Fill & Sign on iPhone?

Can Fill & Sign work on iPhone? I can't download it to my iPhone 6+

Hi Aadesh
This page does not answer my problem.
My version of Acrobat DC on iPad has an option on the home menu that includes Fill & Sign and I can download Adobe FilL & Sign anf when I click on the home link to Fill & Sign on the Ipad it links to thr app sitting on my Ipad.
The Adobe DC on my iPhone does not have the Fill & Sign icon on the home menu and I can’t download Adobe Fill & Sign to my iPhone.
This suggests to me that Fill & Sign is only an iPad app
Right or wrong? If wrong please advise how i should do it
Thanks for your reply

  • Adobe Fill & Sign for iPhone

    Hi there,
I just back from the official product launch of Adobe Acrobat DC in Hong Kong.
During the launch, one speaker said that he got the job from Adobe in eight months ago and the witness of his employment contract is signed by his wife during office hour and is signed through her mobile phone.  I found that the app is quite convenient and so, I try to download the app to see the real power.  However, I just found an app called "Adobe Fill & Sign" for iPad.
After that, I search here and check what is going wrong.  I found a user that facing same problem with me. One of Adobe staff replied the app "Adobe Fill & Sign" can use in iPhone & place a link of that app Q & A sheet to that user.  I also checked but no any solution on the page.  After a while,  there have another staff from Adobe and told the app is just for iPad with no any reason for explain on the issue.
It totally mess.  Can anybody clarify the issue?  If there have an app for iPhone, why we can't found on iTunes?  If the app just serve iPad, why the guy made a fake story to promote your brand new Adobe Acrobat DC product in an official product launch?
    Please clarify.

I do apologize if there was marketing that showed or stated that it supported iPhone but Adobe Fill & Sign is currently iPad only, there is also an Android version that does support Android phones (Lollipop).  The team that works on the app is definitely aware of the requests for iPhone support, maybe that will come soon but I can't say either way.
    Thanks,

  • When using the "Fill & Sign PDF" feature, is there a way to stretch to size the text box, for a specific area on the page...instead of it going on in one straight long line...?

When using the "Fill & Sign PDF" feature, is there a way to stretch to size the text box on a specific area of the page...instead of the text box going on in one straight long line....? I'm not seeing there's an option or ability to do so, just wanting to confirm.

Improving the handling of multiple line text fields is in our plans, but for now, you will have to add manual carriage returns (Enter).
    Thanks,

  • Get rid of the "fill & Sign"-pane when opening pdf in iframe

    hi,
I try to open a pdf in an iframe, but as it is a signed one, the pane "Fill & Sign" opens automatically, reducing the size of my document enormously. As the user can't switch the pane off (the viewer is protected), I want to get rid of this pane.
I saw some topics changing the registry to disable fill & sign completely, but this is not what I want. If necessary, if should be possible to sign documents using the viewer, but for the files I open in my web site, I want to see them without the pane.
    I use Adobe Reader XI ( 11.0.09).

You could try this solution posted here http://superuser.com/questions/558692/hiding-tools-comment-and-sign-buttons-in-adobe-reade r-xi.
In adobe reader installation folder (typically C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Reader 11.0) Find the sub-folder Reader\Services.
Remove files "DEXEchoSign.spi" and "DEXShare.spi" (I added .bak to the name in mine)
This removes the Tools and Share toolbar options. I have not found a way to remove "Comment" yet.
That worked for me in Reader XI, not sure if it will help you with iFrame.

  • Fill & sign PDF, downloaded file, will not open in Reader

I have downloaded Fill & Sign Form as a PDF file on my computer.  It is there with data; but can not open in Reader.  All I get is a blank page.

    Hi;
Please download the Free Adobe Reader and open in Adobe Reader.  We are aware of the issue with Microsoft Reader not displaying the page and will address it but for now it will display and print fine using Adobe Reader.
    Thanks,

  • After upgrading to Acrobat Reader DC, the Fill & Sign toolbar is empty.

I have a PDF I need to initial daily, and I've been having trouble since upgrading to Adobe DC. When I open the Fill & Sign toolbar, there are no options on the bar. If someone signs and saves the PDF, I can then see the toolbar options when I reopen it. Below is a screenshot of the empty toolbar. How can I sign this without relying on others to sign and save this first? Please help!

    Hey itv70949108,
Please click on 'sign in' button on the right hand side (as shown below) using your Adobe ID credentials:
Once you are signed in, you will find all the options in the Fill & Sign toolbar on the top (as shown below):
Let me know if you need further assistance.
    regards,

  • How can I change a pdf to Fill & Sign form?

  • Open Adobe Reader without Tools menu or Fill & Sign menu

    Windows 7 Ultimate SP 1 (x64)
    Adobe Reader XI 11.0.10
When I open a PDF file, I often get a menu down the right side of the Adobe Reader window.  Usually, it is the Tools menu; but if the PDF file is a fill-in form, I get the Fill & Sign Tools menu.  Rarely do I need these menus.  Is there an option to launch Adobe Reader without these menus?

We ended up finding a registry key which forces this menu to come up each time:
    [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Adobe\Acrobat Reader\11.0\AVGeneral]
    “bBrowserDisplayInReadMode”=dword:00000000

  • Fill & sign greyed out but same pdf on different pc is signable

    Hello,
I'm having strange issue with sign process, we have  the same PDF sent to several users.
All are running last update for Reader XI.
Some users have the fill&sign option disabled and signing property is not allowed.
Same document sent to other user is siging allowed and all works fine.
We already tried several options  (new save as/ reinstall reader / recreate new main doc)  but for these users is not possible to sign PDF
Any advice how to troubleshoot deeper?
    Thanks

I know mostly digital (PKI-certificate-based) signatures. I cannot expertly advise on other signature types. It is possible that the form that you had, had an expiration date on it (was Reader-extended with a certificate that expired after a certain date). That might explain why your co-worker was able to sign and you weren't, if you got the unsigned copy from her and not from the same source where she got it. If you got not the same copy but from the same source, you may have gotten a copy with the signing already disabled. The other possibility is that the form might execute comminications with the author's server to get authorization to sign and that authorzation failed. There are many ways a form can be constructed that cause this behaviour. Since you know that the document's author disabled signing the question is now moot and I do not see why we should speculate on a possible reason.

  • My XI Standard: Why are none of the Fill & sign tools available?

I am simply attempting to set up and use digital signature, and am finding I am spinning in circles. I am unable to access a location to set up digital signature within either the Fill & Sign or Tools tabs. Actually, the functionality of all the items within Fill & Sign does not appear to be available.

  • Can I disable Fill & Sign toolbar?

The latest 11.0.09 release of Reader by default opens the Fill & Sign toolbar on any PDF with fillable forms.  My web application makes heavy use of embedded PDFs and fillable forms, but I do not want the toolbar to appear.  I cannot seem to find any way to prevent the toolbar from appearing.
I am processing the PDFs before embedding with IText, so I could add a preference to the file if there was one.  I am also embedding the PDF with an object tag that includes the &toolbar=0 setting.  It looks like there is nothing I can do to prevent the Fill & Sign toolbar from appearing by default.  Registry changes to user's computers is not an option.
    Any ideas?

    Hi Joe,
Unfortunately registry change is the only way to disable this pane.
    Please try the following:
HKLM’s cServices\bEnableSignPane set to 0 removes the Fill & Sign Pane from the user interface. (full path being HKLM\Software\Policies\Adobe\Acrobat Reader\11.0\FeatureLockDown\)
You might want to create the 'cServices' key if it's not listed there.

  • Using Fill & Sign on Flat Forms Results in PDFs with Messed Up Entries, How to Prevent This?

    Hi,
I am hoping you can help me out here:
Adobe advises to use the "Fill & Sign" function to fill in a "flat" PDF form. (Acrobat Help | Fill and sign PDF forms)
However, doing so results in a filled-in PDF that can be printed OK: (the below screenshot is from the print, which I rescanned)
But opening the PDF again, it looks like this: (I just lost an hour of work as I did not print the first try, it happened again on second try, but this time I had printed)
Why is this happening? How can I prevent this from happening? What are alternative (digital) ways to filling in a flat PDF form / what is the most effective way of doing this?
    Thank you for all ideas!
(latest Adobe Acrobat, 11.0.10, on latest Mac OS X, 10.10.3)

    Hi,
The ",screenshot is from Adobe Acrobat (saved and reopened the same file), it also looks the same in Preview and in Chrome.
The font is (should be) Helvetica, it is one of the four fonts listed on the top of the alphabetical list of all fonts (which I take as "recommended"), and it was the pre-selected font.
There are also line breaks in "messed up" PDF that I definitely did not type in...

  • Adobe Reader XI, how do I remove the panel on the far right for Tools, Fill & Sign, Comment?

How do I remove this panel on the far right of the screen?  It takes up too much space when I move the Adobe window to only the left or right side of my screen.  Can it be shrunk like Bookmarks, Attachments and Thumbnails?

Thanks ~graffiti.  That got me halfway there.  I only want the tool bars on the right to go away.  I like the toolbars on the top.
I found if I "Hide Toolbars" and then "Show Toolbars", the Tools Fill & Sign Comment toolbar comes back minimized.  The shortcut key is F8.  I will have to remember the shortcut so I may rapidly turn off and then show the toolbars.

  • Can I add a background color for Fill & Sign?

Is there a way to add a background color to a fill and sign element?

Not at this time - you would like to have a text element that you add in Fill & Sign have a colored background behind the text the size of the blue border you see when you add it?
    Thanks,
    Josh

  • Fill & Sign keeps going missing (not hidden)

    Hi all,
I am having an issue with the fill & sign option going missing in reader 10.
It is not going missing, but disappearing all together.
The only fix I have found so far is to delete the folder C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Adobe\Acroba10.0 and re-open to re-create. which worked, but was only a temporary fix.
Tried upgrading to 11 and same issue (but compatibility calls for me to use 10)
Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!
