I am trying to write a script so that in one of my fillable areas I want to ensure the email address is correctly inputed.
example *@*.*
I don't care about the first name or the domain just that the end user inputs it correctly.
example [email protected] and not abc@domaincom or abc@domainnet etc....

There are actually 2 undocumented methods in Acrobat/Reader that can do
this:
CBIsValidEmail(email)
and
eMailValidate(email)
Either one will return a boolean specifying whether the email is valid or
not.

Hi, I'm a noob around here, but a mac user for many years.
I am wondering if anyone knows of a way to gather email address from my computer. I havent kept my address book updated by saving people's email addresses, but I know they are there in old messages I've sent and recieved.
If anyone has or knows how to easily make an applescript that will complie all of the addresses on my comp into one neat text file, please let me know. I just got a program called direct mail, and i want to set up different mailing lists to get in contact with my people about upcoming events and whatnot.

I will try that.. but I still want to actually try to gather EVERY email address in my computer, even, lets say, addresses that were in the CC of things sent to me. I'm not a hardcore spammer or anything, but i have a few events a year that I want to let all my people know about, so I think I'm looking for some kind of script to cull ALL of the addresses in my computer. Anyone know?

I updated to iOS 8 on iPhone 5s and now iMessage will not verify my email. It has said "Verifyng" since yesterday, but has not sent a verification email. I checked my iCloud settings for that email address and it shows "pending".

I can still send/ receive texts from my phone number, just not from the email address.
In my iCloud settings under Contact Information for that email address and it shows "pending". When I select "Resend Verification Email" I get "Cannot Connect to iCloud".

If a phone is sold from one friend to another and wants to use it on a different carrier the friend can contact the carrier it was sold by to request it unlocked. I know AT&T, Verizon, and Sprint will give you the steps to unlock it as long as the original contract it was bought under has been completed. eBay/Craigslist is really not the best place to try to get "unlocked phones" from, if it turns out the phone isn't unlocked then I'm really sorry you got stuck with that one and as stevejobsfan said above I would report them immediately and see if you can recover your money. If you have given correct info about you ios 6.1.3 - all you need to do is delete account. You will be able to sign in with new one afterwards. Make sure you don't delete any info when you see those prompts.

What is this "box"? What is this "folder" you're asking about? You'll likely get a better answer if you use standard terminology.

Have you tried a soft-reset ? Press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider if it appears), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.

I clicked on Send Verification Email and I do not receive an email. Can this be removed or stopped ?

Checked my email (Verizon email) and no email was sent to me for email verification. Nothing sent to inbox and nothing in my spam folder. It didnt send anything to me. I am tired of that message popping up and that other one too about the facebook connect or whatever. It pops up and blocks the inbox message amount. Stupid.

If you are signed into your current iCloud ID you shouldn't be prompted for the old ID unless there is another service still signed into it. Check the ID in iMessage (Settings>Messages>Send & Receive), FaceTime (Settings>FaceTime), Game Center (Settings>Game Center), the iTunes store (Settings>iTunes & App Store), etc. to make sure you aren't still signed in with the old ID. If you are, tap the ID, sign out, then sign back in with the new ID.

How Can I set up Thunderbird for multiple email addresses

I am using Eudora 7 to handle 6 email accounts on a Windows XP SP3 machine. I want to install Thunderbird on the same machine and import the email addresses. I have Eudora setup to store the data files for each email address in a different data directory. This allows me to have a different icon on the desktop for each email account. Clicking on an icon starts Eudora with the email address data stored in a specific directory.
What I don't know is how to have Thunderbird import the different email addresses from Eudora to Thunderbird and how to keep the individual email address data separate in Thunderbird.
Any help would be appreciated.

I never used Eudora, so I can't tell much about it. In any case, I believe it's dead.
Wrt multiple accounts in Thunderbird, there isn't much you can do wrong. Simply run the new account wizard and set-up the accounts you want (one at a time).
