Filling online forms

I need to fill in a VAT form online and was instructed on their website to upgrade my Adobe Reader.  I did that but it will still not allow me to open their pdf form.

Try downloading the form and opening it directly in Reader. If that doesn't work, can you provide a link to the PDF?

  • Hit control accidently, while filling online form, can I recovery my work?

I was filling out an online job application. Typed in a lot of stuff. When I went to capitalize a letter, I must have hit the control button (PC) instead of shift, and whole page was gone. I looked through today's history, but all the application pages were blank. Is there any way to recover all the work I typed in to online web form? I don't know how to use all those sidebar functions, but its got to be in there somewhere! Please help!

If you have difficulties filling online forms, make sure you use a browser that uses the Adobe Reader plugin.
If that does not solve your problem, provide more information.

  • Sending Filled PDF Form ONLINE without promting outlook/windowsmail etc

This question has been placed serveral times. But no one seemed to have THE anwers/script for it.
now we all know that a filled pdf form, can be send as an attachment when you click on the submit button. It prompts, your computer mail software and place the e-mail adress and subject on the right place with the filed pdf file attached. That's cool.
And also we know you can save the pdf form on your local disk. Login in your gmail, hotmail or yahoo and attach the saved pdf form file and send it there.
But what I want is something more simpler. The above mention is tricky when someone dont have mail client. I just want the complete filled pdf form, send online (through mailserver?). just the send button. without prompting outlook/windowsmail. Just the submit and send the whole damn thing to the right address.
So what's the script to do so?

I have the same question, did you have any luck  finding an answer/script ? It seems like this process its much more complicated than it should be.

  • I fill out a online form and when i hit send firefox resets the page

When i fill out an online form of some kind and it takes over a certain amount of time firefox will clear all my information and reset the form to all blank responses. I assume it must be firefox and not the website I'm using because it has happened on multiple occasions on multiple websites.

Go to the address '''about:crashes''' and tell us your latest crash IDs. We can then look at the data specific to your crash and have a better idea of what is causing the problem.

  • Filling out an online form

    Hello all,
I am looking for opinions please if possible. If you visit a
website and wish to download/view/print a PDF relating to a
particular product on the site, would it put you off if you could
only access the pdf if you fill in your contact details via an
    online form first...?
Your opinions are appreciated, many thanks and have a good
    day

Unless I *really* needed the information badly, no, I
    definitely wouldn't
fill out the form. For me - and I think for most people -
    it's not a matter
of the few seconds it would take to fill out the form, but a
    strong dislike
for having my personal information recorded. (And anyone who
    isn't worrying
    about this probably should be!)

  • Cannot fill in forms online. How can I fix this?

I cannot fill in forms online. How can I fix this?

Click the orange Firefox button and go to Options | Options | Privacy and checkmark "'''Remember Search & Form History'''".
Some sites use Flash objects for which you'll need Adobe Flash to be installed. You can download that from http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/

I was filling a form online, then I got to where I had to upload a Microsoft document but when I clicked on upload document I only had the option of uploading photos and videos, but not Microsoft doc. Please help.... How do I upload Microsoft doc  and other related office documents?

    tis true
I know, I always do that but I was in a rush to get somewhere and I was relying on my thousand dollar Mac to do some kind of recovery or something. I know Microsoft always keeps temporary files (I think Mac does too, part of me asking here in this forum was for someone to tell me where I can find those files) and when you go to open Office Works then it gives you the option of opening the last recent documents, saved or not saved.
I usually copy paste into my emial just in case something goes wrong with the created document but I just didn't have the time to login and do all that My loss, you live and you learn, BUT still if ANYONE got any info on this, PLEASE DO CHIME IN *keeping the hope alive*

  • Create a form that user can fill online, print and not save.

I have form that I want user to fill out. I want them to send it via email or print and not save the information that was typed into it.
Where or how do you put that type of security?
    Thank you!
    Jim Z

through adobe policy server you can give only online access to the document(means that document will not be opened unless user is authenticated with the policy server) and assign policy to user to restrict him only printing and filling in form fields.
Also you can revoke that document after sometime.

Form document will automatically be saved after closing the file. As far as cloud message is concerned, it seems your Mobile link setting has been turned on. When you pressed device back button after filling the form, it was saved to your Acrobat.com account. You can access this document by going to Acrobat.com tab present in left pane. Its a cloud storage area where you can upload/save any document.
    Thanks,

  • Users are blocked from filling out online form

I purchased the initial package that allows 500 responses to an online form/month.  We've received 5 responses and subsequent applicants have told us they are blocked from completing it.

    Hi,
Is there any error message when you access the shared files? Please open the Shared Folders snap-in in mmc, and then find the Open Files in the Shared Folders to check if there is any session opens the shared files.
Shared Folders includes the Open Files that shows the files on the system that are currently open and shows you which users have the files or folders open.

  • Does Firefox facilitate my filling out of online forms when the form asks for standard information such as name, address, email, phone number. I just switched over from Goole Chrome which had this feature.

Google Chrome would offer dropdown prompts for this information as I started entering the information. I would simply highlight the correct prompt and hit enter and the information would be entered throughout the online form.
