Film wont play in iTunes

Hi there, I'm new to Mac and have downloaded a film from iTunes, but when I try to play it, it is black screen and no sound. Other films play though... My account is authorised but I dont know what else to try. thank you!

I understand you are having issues with a few tracks in iTunes. The best troubleshooting step may be to delete the song from your library, and re-download using iTunes in the Cloud (if available in your country).

Symptoms
Occasionally, if a song purchased from the iTunes Store on a Mac or PC was not downloaded completely, the song may not play back fully. The song may abruptly stop during playback, and iTunes may start playing the next song in your library or playlist.
Resolution
If iTunes in the Cloud is available in your country, try the following steps to resolve the issue:
1. Delete the purchased song that is exhibiting the problem from your iTunes library.
2. Click on the Purchased link in the iTunes Store to view your previously purchased music.
3. Download your previously purchased song from this list.
Note: iTunes in the Cloud, which allows you to download previously purchased songs from the iTunes Store, is not available in every country. Learn if iTunes in the Cloud is offered in your country.

Song wont play in iTunes - computer needs authorization but is already authorized?

I click to play a song in iTunes (which also purchased from iTunes) but am shown the message "This computer is not authorized to play [song title]. Would you like to authorize it now?". I enter in my username and password to authorize and am told "your computer is already authorized". I even tried to deauthorize then reauthorize but the song still wont play, and this cycle continues.
Every other song on the release plays with no issues - this one track is the only one that wont.
Anyone have any suggestions?

SONG WONT PLAY ON ITUNES

on march 24th i believe or recently i purchased the new KIP MOORE CD. and it is amazing. and been listening to it non stop ever since. well just last night when i was listening to the cd on my ipod i realized the first song kept getting skipped. so when i got home i got on itunes and clicked it. the pop up came up saying you are not authorized to play this song. so i signed in. and it tells me that i my computer is already autherized. and skips to the next song. so i was reading and i read to deauthorized everything i did that. and still same thing. so what do i need to do now. is there some way to fix this. ... now i did download it last night to my laptop. and it plays but on my iPod and main computer the song wont play at all. wont even burn to a cd to listening to it.. please help me. i wouldnt mind if it was a song that sucked but it is an amazing song. thanks.

ap, have you moved the song files on your computer that have the exclamation point next to them? Try playing them in iTunes and see if a window doesn't come up asking you to locate the file. Also, there might be something wrong with the song file that is keeping iTunes from syncing it to your iPod. Do all these songs have something in common that you might recognize?

I tried to play back my videos I bought from the iTunes store and the ones I already had in the library. No videos (tv shows or music videos) just wont play. And I'm on a PC not a Mac. Thnx.

Are you getting an "iTunes has stopped working" message when you try to play the videos?

Old ipod songs that wont play on itunes

I transferred some old ipod songs onto my itunes. When I try to play I get this message: "This computer is not authorized to play "song name" Would you like to authorize it"
When I enter my password it says: " This computer is already authorized" but it still wont play my songs? Can anyone help me?

Grey text when you look at the content and lock symbol at the bottom of the screen simply shows that your iPod is set to "automatically update songs and playlists". . If you want to access your iPod directly, play it through your iTunes, connect it to a second computer etc. you just need to change the update method to "Manually manage songs and Playlists" in the iPod preferences. For more detail see this tutorial: Managing Your Songs Manually
One thing to be aware of with manually updating is that the iPod also has to be manually ejected before the "Do Not Disconnect" message will go away. Safely disconnect iPod

The iPod offers three ways to transfer music from your computer. You can select one of the following update modes from the iPod Preferences menu in iTunes (Edit>Preferences>iPod>Music tab):
1) Automatically update all songs and playlists. This is the default mode, in which your entire music library, including playlists, is automatically synced to your iPod. If the music library on your computer exceeds the iPod storage capacity, you are prompted to select a different update method.
2) Automatically update selected playlists only. With this option, iTunes automatically copies the playlists you have selected to the iPod when you connect it to the computer.
3) Manually manage songs and playlists. You can also choose to transfer music to the iPod manually. This allows you to drag and drop individual songs and playlists from iTunes to the iPod.

My mac wont play my itunes

I turned on my mac this morning and it started doing all sorts of weird things. It wont play the music off of my itunes. It selects the song and acts like its going to play it bet it never starts. Then one of my applications on my doc was not being used but would not go away even after force quit. I rebooted and the problem consists. What should I do?

The iOS 7 is only for iPods, iPhones and iPads. It is not for Macs.

HT203180 Video wont play on itunes or sync to iphone

Im an amateur boxer and one of my fights was videoed for me and put onto dvd, i then extracted it from the dvd and converted into a file using windows movie maker, but the file wont play through my itunes and therefore i cant put my fight on my phone ! I dont get a error message saying it cant be played or anything, it just doesnt come up ! When i click open with itunes, itunes will load and then just show my library ?! Any suggestions ? Thanks

I mean that in the app store, the description of the app tells you what kind of hardware (what model phone) and what version of iOS the app requires to install and run... does your phone meet those requirements?

yeah i have tried resetting it a couple times. i have searched the web trying to find a way to fix it. it acts like its staying on pause. when i plug it into any computer i can still get the music off it but with headphones it doest do anything. just keeps blinking green.

CD imports but wont play in itunes

I can import CD's into my computer but they will not open in iTunes. I can click on the file in finder and it will play. But it will not "Add to Library" or play in iTunes.would be great!

Song purches with itunes 6.1 wont play with itunes 4

I've purchased a song on one computer with itunes 6.1
Now that I tried to listen to it on my laptop from work with version 4 on authorization I am told that I need at least version 6.0 in order to purchase???? It is just that I cannot just install any new software on my work laptop. Why can I not even listen to music that I've paid for on two devices? I am using the same account. Usually I synchronize my nano with my computer at home - what would haven if I would try to do so with my laptop? Does that mean this would be the fourth device or will it be still the third??? I think this is really annoying.

This is something new with iTunes 6.
Songs purchased with iTunes 6 can only be played in iTunes 6... not previous versions.
If you can't upgrade your iTunes 4 machine... then you can just purchase your music using iTunes 4, and it will work in both systems.

I have the same problem on my ipod when i use the charger from the electrical outlet. Plugging into the computer and updating and charging there seems to fix the problem. I shouldn't happen anyway and curious to see what a permanent fix is.

URL radio streams and Itunes Store streams won't play on my computer, can however buy them and download them but cannot listen them before purchasing.
Radio streams also will not play.
Itunes library is working fine, can play any music form my computer but no Internet streams.. !!!

hmmmmm. okay, probably the next step with one of these is to try a careful standalone QT 7.0.4 reinstall.
download and save a copy of the QT 7.0.4 standalone installer to your hard drive. (we'll run the install from there rather than online.) switch off antivirus and antispyware applications prior to the install.

if that install goes through okay, does your itunes play properly again?
