Filter AUSST Downloads?

I am successfully running AUSST 2.0 on one of our servers.  Currently it is pulling in updates for all CS5 and CS6 products for both Mac & PC platforms.  Since we have only CS6 running on PCs, is there a way to filter the downloads so that the update process goes more quickly and so that the update repository doesn't take up room on our server for unnecessary files?
Thanks in advance!

Hi,
There is no option as of now to download only CS6 updates. But once you have downloaded all the updates, you may go for incremental sync to make sure you have latest updates and this will cost you much lesser time compared to a forced sync.
Thanks,

  • IR-Filter and download CSV

    Dear all,
the behaviour of pre-setting IR-filters with apex_util.ir_filter is not really clear to me. Suppose I have the following scenario:
*1)* on page 200 I have an interactive report:
select to_char(hiredate,'yyyy') as hiredate, job, sal from empincluding a before-header process which sets a filter: (in this case hiredate=1981)
    begin
      apex_util.ir_filter(200,'HIREDATE','EQ','1981');
end;the output and csv-download work correct.
    *2)* on page 201 I have a html region with a link:
f?p=&APP_ID.:200:&APP_SESSION.::::IR_JOB:CLERKIn the link I set an IR filter on JOB=CLERK.
=> if I start page 201 and click on the link, the filters "Hiredate=1981" and Job="Clerk" are shown, which is correct.
Click on download spools 1 row, which is also correct. When I remove the hiredate-filter, the IR-table shows 4 rows, which is correct as well.
But when I click on download again, I receive 1 row instead of 4 rows. It appears, that the hiredate-filter is still in action,
    although I don't see it.
The background is, that we have tables with millions of rows. On one page, a user can select a customer and the
interactive report shows the orders of the actual month. With the implementation above, the user can change the
month, sees data of new month, but cannot download it.
Someone can enlight me a little?
    Thanks in advance
    Christoph

What I found out so far:
<li>Filters, set with apex_util.ir_filter(200,'HIREDATE','EQ','1981'); are static. The IR accepts changes, but not the CSV download.
    <br>
<li>Filters, set within a link, i.e. f?p=&APP_ID.:200:&APP_SESSION.::::IR_JOB:CLERK are not static and can be changed by the user => CSV reflects the filter
If you observe the view "apex_application_page_ir_cond":
    SELECT condition_column_name,condition_operator,condition_expression,condition_sql,last_updated_on from apex_application_page_ir_cond
    where created_by='MY_USER'
    and interactive_report_id='3966422848147853'
order by last_updated_on descthe filters are set according to the 2 possibilities mentioned above. If a user changes f.ex. the date (preset with apex_util.ir_filter), the IR shows the correct values.
BUT: when the user clicks on download, the pre-defined date filter appears AGAIN in the view, having 2 filters on the date now. CSV Download is empty.

  • Barracuda spam filter not downloading mail to xserve - smtp problem?

    Hi-
We just had to upgrade from 10.3 to 10.5 last week (a nightmare that seems to be continuing). We seem to be up and running but there is a weeks accumulation of mail on our barracuda spam filter thzt is not coming through plus any new e-amil from outside the network. Mail seems to be working okay from within the doman. I did a serveradmin check on mail and it is running. In looking through other posts I tried to telnet into the smtp port. I get a timeout when I try to connect from another machine. When I try through localhost I get:
    sh-3.2# telnet localhost smtp
    Trying ::1...
telnet: connect to address ::1: Connection refused
    Trying ::1...
telnet: connect to address ::1: Can't assign requested address
    Trying ::1...
telnet: connect to address ::1: Connection refused
    Trying ::1...
telnet: connect to address ::1: Can't assign requested address
    Trying 127.0.0.1...
    Connected to localhost.
    Escape character is '^]'.
    220 xserve.testeq.com ESMTP Postfix
    quit
    221 2.0.0 Bye
The mail.log file does show that the Barracuda is connecting but possibly intermitently?
Of course there could be another problem involved but does anyone have an idea of what may be happening?
    Thanks,

    Test Equipment Corporation
Any ideas as to why this should be happening?

Okay - I found a problem with /private/anvil, added anvil line to master.cf and then ran the /etc/postfix/post-install script - Are there any other post install scripts that no one saw fit to put in the documentation that need to run?
I can now connect to the smtp port from another machine. I still get the above errors when I connect to localhost (but it does connect, I forgot to mention above). Still no sign of the weeks worth of mail backed up on the barracuda...

  • Is there a way to open the main browser when only the download window is open ?

Many times I have closed the browser by accident, or when to many windows are open and just cleaning up... normally this happens when a download is being done and then when trying to open the browser again it is not allowed for an instance is already running. Is there a way to open the browser back up just from the download window ?? This does cause the pausing and retry of the download of course, but when doing large files ... gigers, many times I have lost it completely, is there a way around this besides the obvious do not close ?

I know of no way to re-open Firefox in your case. However, you can set a preference that will give you a pop-up message when a download is in progress, then you have 2 options presented; continue with closing Firefox which will cancel the download or cancel closing Firefox and the download will continue. This way one last Firefox browser window remains open along with the download window.
To have Firefox warn you when a download is in progress and you choose File > Exit, change a preference:
#type '''about:config''' in the URL/location bar and press the Enter key
#if you see a warning, accept it (promise to be careful)
    #Filter = browser.download.manager.quitBehavior
#right-click (OSX: Cmd+click) on that preference
    #choose Modify
    #enter a new value of 2
    #click OK
#you may need to restart Firefox for the change to take effect

  • Implementing property filter

    Hello all,
      Probably silly and simple questions?
    1) If my understanding is correct, a property filter hide/modify existing properties or add virtual properties...but, only temporarily right? i mean.. they are not changed permanently .. it's only for the display!
    (<i>PLEASE CORRECT ME IF I AM WRONG</i>)
    2) I have gone thru the link https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/servlet/prt/portal/prtroot/com.sap.km.cm.docs/library/kmc/knowledge management and collaboration developers guide.html >> <b>How To Implement a Property Filter</b> >> downloaded the example >> deployed too...
I can see my filter in Content Mgt >> Repository Filters..
But, how should i use this property filter?
    Regards,
    K.Kumar

    hi,
For information regarding other properties, check the following link
    1. http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw2004s/helpdata/en/69/d96b80a84611d5993600508b6b8b11/frameset.htm
You could get info on repository filters from that link itself.
2.Also filters can only be applied to repositories and cannot be applied to navigation iviews(as you have stated that in your reply). You could view the contents of a repository through navigation iview.
3.I think filters can be applied only for repositories like '/documents' and not to subfolders like '/documents/kumar'.
    Hope it helps

  • Downloading PDF's

    Hi,
I was wondering if anyone knew of a workflow or action that allows me to download PDF's from an open safari page, save them to a specific folder and open them in preview afterwards?
    Thanks,
    Barry

    Get Current Webpage
    Get Link URLs from Webpage
    Filter URLs
    Download URLs
    Open Finder Items
To make it easier to use:
    Save As Plugin for ScriptMenu
If the script menu isn't showing on the menubar, open the AppleScript Utility in /Applications and check the box to show it.
    To redbaron:
To download a file to a specific location in Safari, Cmd/Rt-click the link then press the [Option] key and 'Download Linked File' will change to 'Download Linked File As...' allowing you to pick a location.
You can also change the default location in Safari>Preferences>General

  • Download tab closing when firefox gets closed

I reinstalled my windows and installed firefox again.
Now everytime when I close firefox my download tab closes to(the ctrl+J window).
I can't find it in the options how to put this off and it frustrates the hell out of me.
    How to fix this?

It is normal behavior for the Download window to close when you close Firefox, ending the current file(s) being downloaded.
To receive a warning that a download is in progress, and get a pop-up option to not close firefox and continue the download:
#Try this, it gives you a warning, then you can choose to exit Firefox or cancel the exit and let the download continue. It SHOULD BE the default for this preference, but, sadly, it is not the default:
    #Change a preference:
#*type __about:config__ in the URL/address bar and press the Enter key
#*if you see a warning, accept it (promise to be careful)
    #*Filter = browser.download.manager.quitBehavior
#*right-click on the preference in the lower panel and choose '''''Modify'''''
#*enter the value 2, click OK
#*the "Value" column should now show 2
    #*exit the about:config tab

  • Does using flicker filter de-interlace my image?

Shooting PAL 50i 16:9 with Canon XL2. I use flicker filter a lot on clips that I slow down to 50% and then render. Does using the flicker filter de-interlace the footage, creating just one 'progressive' field? If so, that would mean I'm losing vertical resolution, right? Any way around this?

I believe Flicker Filter adds vertical blur, and the three choices (from min to max) control how much vertical blur is added. So you do lose resolution, but not as much as you'd lose by throwing away every second field.
The Deinterlace field actually tosses out every second field, so it is a bit more severe (but also more effective in getting rid of interlace artifacts) than Flicker Filter.
I have a free Smart Deinterlace filter I downloaded at this site: http://www.mattias.nu/plugins/
It works alright (better than Deinterlace and Flicker Filter most of the time, I think), but it doesn't work as well as JES Deinterlacer (also free) or Compressor's and Motion's Optical Flow algorithms. You have to be careful if you use Compressor's "Best" (optical flow) deinterlacing, however. It is very slow, and occasionally introduces random white pixels here and there. The "Better" setting doesn't have the random artifacts, it but does not look nearly as smooth overall as "Best".

  • Getting around URL aliasing or forwarding in Automator?

    Hi,
    I am new to automator but have a simple task that seems not straightforward to implement. I have a page on Google Sites (unfortunately not open to the public) and I upload and download ruby code to it. I'd like to automate downloading all the files that are have certain file extension and are linked from the main page. Those urls, when I copy them as links from the Safari browser, have a format like;
    http://sites.google.com/a/some_school.edu/my-cool-proj/Home/builder.c?attredirec ts=0
    My workflow is four safari actions;
Get Specified URLs (the url is the top page of the google site for the project)
    Get Link URLs from Webpages
    Filter URLs
    Download URLs
What I notice when I download those files manually from the Google Site page, using Safari, is that there is a second url that the link I started downloading gets forwarded to, apparently, and I can't seem to capture that manually to see what it is (it flashes across the browser's address bar and then dissappears pretty quickly.)
Is there some simple way to follow these forwarded URLs, that is relatively foolproof, and that could be automated? I could take it on faith that the implementation of those forwarded links is not going to change, though that seems iffy. I could use or build some other site to post and pull code from, but that seems risky, and honestly the Automator script wouldn't save me more time than I would lose in such an effort.
Any suggestions would be appreciated -
    C

    Hello Prashanth,
It may not be as simple as adding an http header through the Oracle HTTP Server (OHS) in the stack. The web page is returned by both the Parallel Page Engine in OC4J_Portal and the Web Cache, not by the OHS. Since OHS doesn't play a role in the response, it is not possible to tag the headers.
You could consider to install a reverse proxy server (e.g. Apache 2) in front of your web cache and add the header tag in this configuration. That should work.
    Thanks,
    EJ

  • Compound filtering xslt list view web part with _dopostback using javascript/jquery

    Hello,
I am filtering list view web part as same as the below post,
    http://dcsharepointchick.blogspot.in/2013/05/filter-sharepoint-list-with-partial-postback.html
here I need to filter the web part with some another condition . I am trying to write another condition in filter attribute of _doPostback(), but it doesn't work.
Please let me know is there any alternative to achieve compound filtering.
    Regards,
    Balakrishna M.

    Hi Balakrishna,
According to your description, my understanding is that you want to filter the list view web part with more than one filters.
I recommend to use the OOB Choice Filter web part to achieve this goal.
Edit the page where the list view web part exists and then add the Choice Filter web parts to the page based on your need.
    More reference:

Or you use the List Filter Plus Web Part to get the function.

  • Tried all the steps suggested and it appears Line ...

Since we had a power cut on September the 13th to the 14th our download has speed has been stuck on a far lower profile than previously which was just sub 20 meg the upload speed has slowly retrained its way back up to what we had previously. I have checked all wiring I have checked for interfrence using a AM radio and also ensuring as many devices in the house are off. I have checked with neighbours who appear to be getting the service they had previously.
I have purchased a couple of new Belkin Micro filters when the issue first occured and both give the same speed 6652 an older standby filter the download speed dropped to 5 something and then went straight back up to six with one of the new microfilters.
When I attempt a speedtester BT it says my speed profile is 5.87 mps and has constantly said over the time since september 14th or when ever i first tested most likely the the 15th i think.
The Broadband has been up as far as I am aware for more than 3 days and probably nearer 10 days with no reconnection made since a very short power cut occuring on the 17th.
I have also tried different routers which are known to work ok including a BT Home HUB and a Billion 7700n
I have changed and tested with different cables.
I have put ferrite cores on the power supply cables and even tried different power supplies (I can obtain from my workplace for testing purpose
I have checked with the Bt silent line test 17070 option 2 on numerous occasions
I have purchased a new phone to ensure the line was not affected by a landline but for the last ten days we have left unconnected. There are no extensions.
The Broadband is connected to the feed bt supplied when the house was bulit 20 or so years ago.
The router is less than 15 cm's from the router and uses a short quality cable and as mentioned before other quality cables have been tested. I have also ensured by flexing the cables no difference was noticed.
So please advise please BT thanking you in advance details from Billion 7700n Router
The device has been reset and the settings reinputted post power cut to ensure no corrruption of the flash memory.

Thank you Roger for taking the time to reply
"The router is less than 15 cm's from the router " what does this mean?
Router to the Telephone socket sorry typing faster than I think (Which is not very fast )
"I have also tried different routers which are known to work ok including a BT Home HUB and a Billion 7700n
I have changed and tested with different cables.
I have put ferrite cores on the power supply cables and even tried different power supplies (I can obtain from my workplace for testing purpose"   Clearly, quite a few line interventions?
That is true but nothing has been touched or altered in the last ten plus days I think its 12 days since I have touched anything and left it to its own devices to see if it retrained it self I think is the phrase.
"I have checked with the Bt silent line test 17070 option 2 on numerous occasions" .... and the result?
A very very clean line it seemed but saying that not much of the Broadband signal occurs in our hearing range so I am presuming it helps but not much.
The device has been reset and the settings reinputted."  .... which device?
Whoops the billion device again this was done more than ten days ago.
The line is running excessive interleave and INP is well up, thus the lack of throughput.
There's clearly a noise issue, allbeit some of it is down to excessive line resets.
Although the original phone socket will probably work well enough, and with no extensions to contend with, that
close to the exchange, you would benefit from a proper NTE socket (network terminal equipment).
And even better an SSFP (service specific faceplate) gives phone and broadband segregation.
It is an old socket but had worked perfectly with a very very good Speed up 1mb and down 19mb especalliy since the Billion router was bought in the summer of 2011 with a big improvment over the BT hub in down and up speed. But I can imagine possibly speed is at the cost of stabilty.
I guess i will investigate a new socket but as BT I am sure will want money out of me I will see if its not another issue first.
So far as the billion router is concerned, I'd be inclined to stick with a hub, there are far better routers than the billion and at the approximate same price.
(personally I'd take it outside and tee it up).
Well will have a look at swapping Hubs but seems odd the profile hardly changed apart from when I used a older filter.

  • CProjects integration with R/3 HR issue

    Dear All,
We are replicating the HR details to cProjects (CRM) system.
The replication was happening fine and while the employees(resources) getting replicated to the cProjects system, a Business Partner (BP) number will get generated automatically for each and every employee.
All of a sudden, we have got an issue.
While the details are getting replicated to the cProjects system, but the BP number is not getting generated, the BP number is blank.
FYI: We have not done any changes to the cProjects system recently.
    Will really appreciate your clues.
    Thanks,
    Vijay Anand

    Hi,
We did all these settings. Just now we found out issue behind this.
In r/3 table PA0000 employees with the status 0-withdrawn are not downloaded to crm. In this table status of the employee should be active, then only it will download employees to crm.
Now the issue is client asking us to download employees who quit the organization.  Please suggest if we need to add any filter to download employees who already quit the organization to crm.
Becuse there are some relationships existed for these employees earlier. When we try to download relationships from r/3 all bdocs are comming to crm and sitting in queues. Showing error. If we can download the employees who left the organization our issue with relationships also got solved.

  • Clientless VPN and Java not working correctly

In a recent discovery we found that the newest version of java will not work with our Cisco SSLVPN setup
We are using an ASA5510 with 8.0.4 IOS version and 6.1.3 ADSM version and most users use an mstsc.exe smart tunnel to rdp into our terminal server farm.
Our laptops are being imaged with Java 6 update 3 (this works fine) then upgraded to Java 6 update 11, after which the smart tunnel appears to launch but a connection cannot be established. Reinstalling the older version of Java resolves the problem.
I was wondering if anyone else has encountered a similar problem and found a workaround. Currently, company equipment is not being upgraded to the latest version of Java but personal equipment is a different story.

To get the old downloader back follow the directions below.

  • Between dowloading issues and Java not working correctly, when the next version coming out? I'm a breath away from switching to IE

I cannot use the Java pull down menus on USAA.com, and downloads cancel when I close Firefox and cannot be resumed. What happened to the old downloader? I have to use IE in order to use USAA.com (primary banking). I tried updating Java, I tried a reinstall on firefox, clearing my cache, everything. No dice. If a new version doesn't come out soon I'm switching to IE... I've been loyal for 10 years.

To get the old downloader back follow the directions below.
    # In the [[Location bar autocomplete|Location bar]], type '''about:config''' and press '''Enter'''. The about:config "''This might void your warranty!''" warning page may appear.
    # Click '''I'll be careful, I promise!''', to continue to the about:config page.
    # Filter '''browser.download.useToolkitIT'''.
    # Double click and '''make sure it says true.'''
