Option for email notifications not on website

Hi there,
I just set up a shared reminder list between my wife and myself (on our respective icloud accounts), and I get an email notification whenever she checks something off the list. I want to turn this option off, and everything I read says that the option is available at www.icloud.com in the web-based version. Within reminders, when I click on the icon to see my sharing etc., there is no checkbox for email.
Is this where I should be looking? If not, how do i turn these off?

Other options for emailed itunes gift card?

I received an itunes gift card via email. Unlike a physical gift card, it does not have a redemption code. Just a 'redeem' button.
I don't want to redeem this code. I would like to gift it to someone else or perhaps sell it. But I need a physical card with a redemption code.
Apple says my only choice is to redeem it to my itunes account. I didn't want to ask the purchaser to request a refund.
Are there any other options for this gift card email? thanks!

thank you for your reply. i know you could stream in between computers. i guess i just want one device to do everything and i am torn as to whether or not to buy the basestation. i guess the odds of a newer one coming out with the music feauture in the next few months is probably way beyond slim to none!

Know what I'd like? I'd like another option for Adobe Flash - not always on, not always off ... ask me if I want something to use flash.

I go through the news, see interesting articles and open them in another tab and another and another. Throughout the day, I read the articles and slowly close the tabs. I hate having to hit Ctrl-Alt-Del to shut down Adobe Flash because all of those tabs are playing whatever at the same time. I'd like to have the option under Firefox>Tools>Add Ons to select 'Ask me' instead of just Always Activate or Never Activate.
Want to make your product better? Take this idea and incorporate this option for all of the Add Ons.

What's the best option for emailing?

I'm new to Compressor. I've listened to the excellent Lynda.com tutorials by Larry Jordan but am having trouble applying it to my situation.
I want to email a 10-minute movie made in Final Cut Pro that has a file size of about 460MB. I guess the maximum file size I email should be about 2–3MB. I've tried the option Larry recommends for email using the Settings path: Web > Download > QuickTime 7 compatible > H.264 300kbps
But this makes a movie of about 15MB, way too big for email.
I often get very good quality movies emailed to me that are about 1MB and would like to be able to email my clients a similar quality and file size. The ones I get are often professionally-made ads and appear on my screen quite large (i.e the viewing area).
Can anyone suggest the way I can do this? A path would be great.

If your sending the video to a select few you could have them download the video directly from your computer.
Zip your video file--->Place that file in your Home--->Site folder.
Open System Preferences--->Sharing--->check the box Web Sharing.
Copy the link under Your personal website: Looks something like this,

Add the zip file name to the end of the URL.

Email the URL to whom ever you want to send the video too... When they click on the link, the zip file will download to their computer. Even works for Windows computers.
Make sure your computer running. Turn off web sharing when everyone has downloaded the video. Beats uploading to a server. If you have a fast internet connect (I do)... You can build web pages to be severed from your computer. I use this method (embedded video in a web page) so my friends can see my latest work. You don't have to embed the video in a web page. You can just add my_video.mov to the above URL and the video will open in Safari.

Layout options for email......where?

Well, I am learning the ins and outs of iPhoto '11 and know that at some point I saw that there were different looking email options for announcing a new MM Gallery but this morning I cannot find such an option! I will make a note to self when some kind soul enlightens me! Thanks in advance! Judy

Message monitoring Status Waiting for email receiver

Scenario: SAP ECC will call Error Handling interface class. The communication channel for the Error Handling interface is Email Adapter.
Below is CC setting:

I encountered one problem where my email receiver status in message monitoring is always 'Waiting'. I do not know what went wrong in the setting? Does anyone know how to solve my problem ?

XI tries 3 times before changing the status of the message to System Error. One can Manually resend the error messages by using the RESEND button in RWB. In scenarios where XI was trying to send the message to an end system that was down for maintenance, you would want XI to resubmit the message automatically without human intervention. What would be nice is to able to tune the retries like IS_Retry which is available for Integration engine.
We can achieve this by changing the retry count used by the Adapter Engine, by default its set to 3 times, 5 minutes apart. This count can be changed in Visual Admin->server->services-> SAP XI Adapter: XI.
Here change the number Retries parameter from 3 to 10 and change the retry retryInterval to around 10minutes. For these configuration changes to be picked up, restart SAP XI Adapter: XI.

"Add BCC" as an option for Email Account Settings

One very much appreciated option on the BB OS devices was the ability to set a fixed BCC email address for individual email accounts. I know that I can add it to individual messages but it is cumbersome to do this for every email. Could BB please re-introduce this feature to BB 10?

Push option for email?

1. Does the Push option being ON mean that it will automatically check for new mail and download it as it is sent to me?
2. Can I synch my mail from my computer to the Touch instead of downloading it on the Touch?

Push means it's receptive to push emails. That will only work with services that support push email - currently, MobileMe, Yahoo Mail, and MS Exchange/ActiveSync. If you don't have a mail account with one of those, you can't receive push email, and having push ON will just needlessly drain your battery. You can just turn off push and set it to check every 15 minutes, if you like (in Settings > Fetch).
You can only download/sync mail from the mail server, not from your computer. If your mail accounts are IMAP accounts, both the iPod Touch and the computer will be "in sync", since with IMAP the mail remains on the server.

The source is from an old Post [SAPUI5 - XMLModel] Xpath filter ? where the solution was to loop through the result.
Does SAPUI support X-Path like queries in the meantime?

I'm not sure about an xpath query (which was deprecated in JCR 2.0), but here's how you could use the JCR API to retrieve all of the versions from a path:
     * Returns all of the versions at the specified path as a List of Versions.

Alternative Options for Email Merge?

I need a way to do personalized (merged) e-mails.
Usually, I have fewer than 500 recipients, but the e-mails need to include some merged data like the recipient's name and physical address (so just sticking 500 e-mail addresses in the BCC field Mail.app will not work). However, because the list changes, using Pages' mail merge from Address Book really isn't an option.
I used to use Word and Entourage for this, but I'm trying to move away from Entourage.
Has any one found a reliable, easy-to-use mass e-mail program that works well with Mail.app?

You can add this Forum (not any topic but the whole forum) to your watch list . Then in your Forum settings set the Email alert to "immediate", then you will get an email whenever there is an activity in the forum.

Please help resetting security questions. The info. said there would be an option to send an email to another account. That did not exist for me.

The option to send reset info only appears if you have a rescue email address on your account, if you haven't got on then you won't get the option and you won't be able to add one until you can answer 2 of your questions - you will need to contact iTunes Support or Apple to get the questions reset.
e.g. you can try contacting iTunes Support : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page, then Account Management , and then 'Forgotten Apple ID security questions'
or try ringing Apple in your country and ask to talk to the Accounts Security Team : http://support.apple.com/kb/HE57
When they've been reset you can then use the steps half-way down the page that you posted from to add a rescue email address for potential future use, or you could change to 2-step verification : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5570

Only 1 option for email setup? old version?

hey, im a first time blackberry user and have had trouble setting up my hotmail address with my phone as it only gives me 1 option of "i want to use a work email account with a blackberry server" which of course i dont want.would i have to download the new version if i dont already have it to my device for me to have my personal account linked? what other problem could it be? please help

Do you have a BlackBerry Data Plan enabled on your account with your carrier or mobile provider?
You must, in order to get the RIM push email functions you are looking for, as well as addtional BlackBerry data services such as the internet browser, Facebook for BlackBerry, BlackBerry Messenger, and much more.
So, call your carrier and inquire about having the BlackBerry Data Plan added to your account.

Lost "Delete" option for emails - says "Archive Mesage" instead

After I upgraded to latest iPhone download, I lost the ability to delete my email messages and can only archive the message.
I have the 3G model.
Any suggestions?

Go to Settings
Mail, Contacts, Calendars
Turn off "Archive Messages"
You'll get the delete option back.
