Filter not providing intended results

Newbie here to Answers. I am trying to filter the results of a column to the values in another request. However, the relationship "is equal to any" is not the same as "equals to" so it returns all possibilities. I get the intended results fine, when I write a simple sql query. last_ibs_load table would be the separate request that I abse my filter on
Select a.Region, a.Region_descrip, b.LOAD_START_DTTM, b.LOAD_END_DTTM, c.date_of_data
from region_dim a, IBS_LOAD_DASHBOARD_START b, last_ibs_load c
where a.region = b.region and
c.region = b.region and
b.date_of_data = c.date_of_data
REGION,REGION_DESCRIP,LOAD_START_DTTM,LOAD_END_DTTM,DATE_OF_DATA
100,North America,5/29/2012 2:00:01 AM,5/29/2012 3:41:59 AM,5/28/2012
200,Europe,5/29/2012 6:30:01 PM,5/29/2012 6:56:28 PM,5/29/2012
When I try and duplicate this by adding filters in Answers it returns too many rows because it tries a "Select In"
- I solved the issue by changing the other report I was referring to into a dim table with composite key.

Hey,
Can you recheck your query once again.
There is no join between the table a and table c.
// where a.region = b.region and
c.region = b.region and
b.date_of_data = c.date_of_data

  • Content Query Web Part filter not returning any results

This CQWP stopped working after moving a number of files to new locations. It is configured in the following way:
Source: Show items from the following site and all subsites
    List type: Pages Library
We want to filter the list by the article date, last 30 days. Without a filter, results are returned. If ANY filtering is applied, NO results are returned, NO error messages.
I experimented with "Group items by" filter, but it also resulted in no results.
If I change the Source field to a subfolder, I can return filtered results.
    Any ideas?

Make sure that ItemStyle.xslt is working fine, try to change the item style
for your content query web part, if it shows data then there your custom defined
item style is not working properly

  • Your search did not produce any results

    Hi,
I'm publishing my iWeb site to my ME.COM account.
I have the site password protected as offered in iWeb.
But when the site is password protected the search with the iWeb search field does not provide any results.
    Only the message:
"Your search did not produce any results."
If I disable the password protection for the site in iWeb and republish, the search provides the expected results.
    Any idea what's wrong?
    Thanks and Regards,
    JO

    Sorry, didn't test enough.
After publishing a few new blog entries under the password protected site, I tested the search again and it does not return any results.
It was working for a short time when I republished unprotected and then again protected.
Now that I added block entries under the protected site mode, search is brogen, again.
    Any Help?
    Thanks and Regards,
    JO

  • DHCP not providing option 252 since upgrade to 2008 R2

We have been using DHCP option 252 to provide details of the WPAD.DAT file for proxy auto config for the past 4 years and it has been working well. We recently upgraded (replaced)
out DC from an old W2k3 server to a 2008 R2 server.
The DHCP options were identical as we exported them from the one server and imported them to the new server, but since the change over we have not been able to go proxy auto config to work.
The clients (combination of XP and Win7) don’t even seem to be trying to access the file.
It appears that the DC is not providing the details to the clients.
Has anyone got proxy auto config working with a 2008 R2 DHCP server?
I have been working on this for a couple of weeks and we know the web server side is working fine.
I have tried removing option 252 and recreating it, but that does not help.
    Any ideas?
    Steve

    Hi Steve J B  ,
    Thanks for posting here
Please check if this issue could be resolve on XP client with the article below:
953761  Some DHCP Options are not recognized on a Windows XP SP3-based client computer when the DHCP server offer includes option 43
    http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;EN-US;953761
If this problem continues , then please capture packet while the client requests an IP address from the DHCP server by Wireshark and filter the result with filter
    string “ bootp.options.type == 252  ”
Meanwhile, please following workaround to configure DNS to set the Proxy Autodiscovery information.
To implement web proxy auto-discovery in your environment, refer to the following steps:
    1.
Enable "Automatically detect settings" in IE.
    a)
In IE window, click "Tool"-->"Internet Options".
    b)
On "Connections" tab, click "LAN settings".
    c)
In "Local Area Network (LAN) Settings" window, ensure "Automatically detect settings" is checked.
    2.
Add "WPAD" record in DNS server:
    a)
    Start the DNS snap-in.
    b)
In the console tree, click your server name, and then click Forward Lookup Zones.
    c)
Right-click the forward lookup zone that you want to support Web Proxy client Autoconfiguration, and then click New Alias.
    d)
Type wpad in the Alias name box.
    e)
Type in the Fully Qualified Domain Name(FQDN) of the proxy server computer's internal interface. Use the Browse button to minimize the chance of making an error.
NOTE : The proxy Server computer must already have a Host (A) address record before you create an Alias (CNAME) record.
    f)
    Click OK.
And please post the result after following above settings.
The following are the details of how the Web Proxy Auto-Discovery (WPAD) works with DNS server for you reference:
    1.
With the auto detect setting enabled, when IE starts and tries to access a website, it will try to detect the proxy server.
    2.
The computer will send DNS name query for the name "WPAD". If a record called "wpad" is added to the DNS server, DNS server will respond with the IP address of that name and then client
will try to access http://wpad/wpad.dat. If client locates the server through
DNS, only the default port 80 will be used and we cannot specify any other ports.
    3.
Client will find the proxy server from the wpad.dat file after getting the file by accessing the URL:
http://wpad/wpad.dat. At last, the client will send the request to the proxy server
    to access the website.
    Thanks.

  • Remote faxing error - A fax number was not provided.

I have a USRobotics 5637 Fax / Modem attached to a Mac Mini. I can send and receive faxes on the Mini.
I have enabled printer sharing on the Mini. User rights are everyone is allowed to print. When I try to print to the shared fax from my MacBook Air, The Mini does not send the fax. CUPS provides this error:
    USB_Modem-153
    Unknown
    Withheld
    18k
    Unknown
    completed at
    Mon Aug 12 16:36:37 2013
"A fax number was not provided."
So the MacBook Air sees the Fax on the Mini and the job gets sent to the Mini but the fax number apparently does not get sent to the print server. Both machines are running 10.8.4 and are connected to the same (hardwired) network.
Is there something I am missing. I type the fax number in on the Air and I have tried various formats (xxx-xxxx, (xxx) xxx-xxxx, xxxxxxx etc) just to see if this makes a difference but no luck.
I have attached the CUPS log file below: There is the USR fax/modem as well as a Brother MFC printer configured.
    Any suggestions?
    Thank you

Now all are running 10.9.2. Same problem, except that two of the 10.9.2 clients have this problem. (They may both have had this problem with 10.9.1, but it wasn't noticed until now.)
I have reset the printing system on the serving Mac, added the fax back in, and still have the problem.
I also reset the printing system on one of the problem clients, tried a different user, and still have the problem.
I also verified that the fax.ppd files are identical on working and non-working clients. They are.
    This is really, really frustrating.

  • Datasource Include -- Transport works, but RSA3 does not show intended res

    Hi there,
We have sent a Datasource include in transport and transport did not throw any errors. I assumed it went through fine. But when I tried to test it using RSA3, I don't see intended result. I tried re-importing the transport, again no errors with same result. I followed same procedure for QA transport and it worked fine. Right now I am trying this to Prod and I don't understand why it does'nt work. Can you guys let me know if you experienced something like this before or if you have any suggestions.
    Thanks,
    Mike.

    Hi,
Which load is that? Is it a full load or delta load? Is it a LO data source? Please give some more inputs...

My mac desktop will not provide sound from internal speakers.  When I go to audio devices window it only shows airplay.  How can I get internal speakers back.

There are many possible causes for this issue. Take each of the following steps that you haven't already tried. Some may not apply to your model. Back up all data before making any changes.
    1. Start with the steps recommended in this support article. Don't skip any of the steps. It's the starting point for further efforts to solve the problem.
    2. Run Software Update and make sure you have a fully up-to-date installation of OS X.
    3. If you've installed an application called "Memory Clean" or any other third-party software that is supposed to "clean" or "purge" memory automatically, remove it according to the developer's instructions and restart. You should do that even if the software is not causing the problem, because it's useless.
    4. Other third-party software that has been reported to interfere with sound output includes "Boom" and "Samsung Kies." If applicable, uninstall according to the developer's instructions (not by dragging something to the Trash.)
    5. If an AirPlay device is selected for sound output from iTunes (or from other applications via third-party software such as "Airfoil"), deselect it.
    6. Launch the application "Audio MIDI Setup" by entering the first few letters of its name in a Spotlight search and selecting it in the results (it should be at the top.) Select Built-in Output from the list on the left. If the Mute boxes are checked, uncheck them.
    7. If a red light is visible in the audio-out port when sound should be playing, the internal switch is stuck in the position for digital output. You may be able to free it by inserting and removing a mini-stereo jack of the proper size. Inserting any kind of tool in the port may cause damage that won't be covered by your warranty.
If there's no red light, the switch may still be stuck in the headphone position. Try to free it the same way.
    8. Disconnect all wired peripherals except keyboard and mouse, if applicable. If more than one display is connected, disconnect all extra ones. Restart and test.
    9. If you have a MacBook Air, turn off Bluetooth and restart.
    10. Start up in safe mode. Don't log in; just restart as usual when the login screen appears. When you do, make sure the words "Safe Boot" do not appear in the login screen. If they do, the system is still in safe mode and sound won't work.
    11. Reset the NVRAM.
    12. Reset the SMC.
    13. Triple-click anywhere in the line below on this page to select it:
    /Library/Preferences/Audio
Right-click or control-click the highlighted line and select
Services ▹ Reveal in Finder (or just Reveal)
from the contextual menu.* A folder should open with an item selected. Move the selected item to the Trash. You may be prompted for your administrator login password. Restart the computer and empty the Trash. Recreate your settings in the Sound preference pane.
*If you don't see the contextual menu item, copy the selected text to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination  command-C. In the Finder, select
              Go ▹ Go to Folder...
from the menu bar and paste into the box that opens by pressing command-V. You won't see what you pasted because a line break is included. Press return.
    14. Reinstall OS X after backing up all data.
    15. Make a "Genius" appointment at an Apple Store.

  • Tried the solutions posted for this "SubVI filter not executable. Undefined error" but not solving the problem

    Hello,
I am trying to use a lowpass filter for my application but getting the error "SubVI filter not executable. Undefined error".I tried working with the solutions at this post
    http://forums.ni.com/t5/LabVIEW/SubVI-filter-not-executable-Undefined-error/m-p/1996701#M657751 and results with
    1. Create a blank vi, put a VI filter in the block diagram (this should not be functional as it is not wired), copy it and paste it in my other project. I believe if the filter is the first vi of a blank project, it is funcitonal and then you may copy it wherever you need to.
    Result:
2.Tried to open the filter panel of the Filter but showing the same error as shown inthe below image
Don't why the solutions worked for others are not working. Can someone suggest a solution for this.
    thanks in advance.

    Hi PatanGova,
Very strange error. Actually, there are no required inputs on this express VI, so it should be able to run even without wires. It is not correct as you said: "this should not be functional as it is not wired". Nothing will happen, true, but the run arrow should not be broken.
For some reason, the VI with the Filter express VI fails to compile. I tried it on my computer (LV 2013) and get no error when I add it to a new VI. As was suggested in the linked forum thread, you need to open the front panel of the Filter VI and run it to see the explicit error.
If you do, do you also get the error:
"This VI claims to be part of a library that does not include the VI. The VI might have been deleted from the library. Add the VI to the library again or select File - Disconnect from the library."?
If you do, it seems that you may have a project library somewhere that has taken ownership of the express VI. The ownership prevents you from running or editing the express VI. To free the VI, you need to do one of two things. Either, you need to load the library into memory, or you need to disconnect the VI from the library. Either way, you need to find the project library that has taken the ownership of the VI. As soon as it is released, it should run for you. You release it by selecting File»Disconnect from Library on the VI.
The workaround described in your link (and also here: http://forums.ni.com/t5/LabVIEW/compatibility-problem-labview-2009-2010-2011-quot-This-VI-claims/td-... tells that you can make a copy of the VI and thereby create another instance that is free. This solution may work for you as well, but if not, you may not have created the copy properly. Maybe your copy of the VI also became part of some project library that took ownership. In either way, you should rather find the project library to release the VI before trying the workaround to copy it.
If project library ownership is not the problem, maybe the problem is connected to LV 2011, as most forum posters report that it only happens here.

  • Currency Translation not producing any results

    Hello Everyone,
I have ran into a very strange problem with the out of the box currency conversion.  I have a finance app and am using the Fxtrans script logic to execute my currency translation.  The problem I am having is when I run the FX Restatement package I not getting any results.  LC has the correct amount that was input but my other reporting currencies show zero.  My Entity dimension (which is named Company) has the correct currencies in the currency column for each company, and the InputCurrency dimension has all of my currencies listed.  Everything else is the same as the AppShell app set.  One last note is I do have some additional dimensions in the finance application but I don't think that would cause any issue.
My Rate cube is built the exactly the same as the rate cube in appshell app set. The only difference is my category dimension is named scenario.
I have updated all the system constants files and the script logic to reflect the dimension name changes.  Everything works as expected in the Appshell application, but I just can't seem to figure out why it won't work in my appset.
I am sure I have left out some details that are needed so please just ask and I will provide whatever I can.  I really appreciate any help anyone can provide.
    Thanks in advance!
    Nick

So I figured out the issue.  For some reason the data that was in the WriteBack table for any currency other than LC was not showing up in the report.  Once I optimized the application the currency conversion showed up as expected.
Has anyone had this problem before.  Any known solution?
    Thanks,
    Nick

How do I compress a file on a Mac.  I do not see and option to compress a file when I right click on it and the Apple help does not provide and accurate answer

Select the file with one click, then go to File in the menu bar and select Compress...
By the way Niel's post says control - click. This means click with the control key held down. It produces the same result as going to File in the menu bar and selecting Compress...

  • MRP Exception message :- 40- coverage not provided by master plan

    HI ,
I have  a sales order & i run the MRP & after MRp run , the rpoduction order generate  for the componant material , the systemeis nshowing me the exception message   40- coverage not provided by master plan .
I have checked the stockes for the all componant material , there is no stock  for the componant material ?
Please help me out in this
    Piyush

    Dear,
Please refer OSS notes 550441 question no 06 for Exp message 40 Coverage not provided by master plan.
Exception message '40' resulted from the calculation of the ATP quantity in Transaction MD04.The calculation of this ATP quantity is not provided anymore in Transaction MD04  since it was not an "actual" ATP quantity as in Transaction CO09, but it was calculated according to a separate logic which did not take into account certain relevant parameters.Branching to the ATP quantities now leads to Transaction CO09 which considers all MRP elements, checking rule and scope of check. This instrument should be used now, here the previous exception message '40' is equivalent to a negative, cumulated ATP quantity. In Transaction MD04 exception messages '10' and '30' from the rescheduling check can also be used to determine receipt elements that are not covered.

  • DHCP not providing IP's to stations!

Hi, im trying to figure this out for days but cant make it work!
i've set up a MacOSX Server 10.5, its working fine for print and file sharing, i wanted it alos to control the IP address for all the computers connected to same network so in near future i start using Open Directory, and i dont want to provide manual IP's.
in OSX Server Admin Application, i set the DHCP providing it with starting ip's, end ip's, mask, router, dns, and in System Preferences/Network/Ethernet i also set same IP for the server, same mask, router, dns as set in DHCP, start the DHCP i see nothing changes in computer client, they keep generating the Bonjour IP's, or if i put a normal router in the network they immidiatly get the IP's from the router, so why from the Router and not from OSX Server?
in the Admin page of DHCP seetings, in Log, it says that machine (with MAC addresses) trying to obtain DHCP address.. if it knows theres a computer trying to get its IP from the server, why its not providing it??
and if i have a router and a server in same network, how do i make computers get the ip's from the server and not from router?
is there a step by step manual out there to "correctly" configure DHCP? and then Open Directory?
i've manage to run DNS correctly, cuz i tested pinging to both ip and server name and both gave correct results...
    Thanks

You may have already done this, but it isn't clear from the post, so it's worth checking...
i also set same IP for the server, same mask, router, dns as set in DHCP
I assume that you mean you set a different IP address, right?
You cannot set your server to have a static IP address that's within the DHCP range.
For example, if you're using 192.168.1.x/255.255.255.0 as your network/subnet mask then you might have your router at 192.168.1.1 and your server at .2. You could then define the DHCP range as something like 192.168.1.101 - 192.168.1.200.
That would give you 100 dynamic IP addresses in the subnet that do not conflict with manually-configured devices such as the router, server, etc.
if i have a router and a server in same network, how do i make computers get the ip's from the server and not from router?
You turn off the DHCP server in the router. While it is possible to have multiple DHCP servers in a subnet, it is vastly more complicated and not generally recommended.
