Filter of viewing details at BEx level possible?

Hi Guys
I would like to know if we can filter the users to view records only related to him and the users who is working under him and no other users at Report design level OR it is possible only by assigning roles to the users under Tcode PFCG.

I got another query on this.Lets me explian you what is mainted at our system.
There is a auhtorization object maintained in Tcode RSSM, then there are 3 roles maintained at Tcode PFCG. but for one of the role that is manager role no authorization is maintained. And in the Query the same info object is used as authorization variable.
So here one thing is not clear to me is where is the data filtered depending upon the user. Like when the user is manager then he is able to his details and the users direct reporting to him and when the user is general user then he is able to details only related to him. And both this users are viewing the same reports. how and where is this filtering of data happening?

Application Builder Applications List View Detail - Parsing Schema

When viewing all applications in the Application Builder using the View Detail option the list of applications is shown with the Parsing Schema showing APEX_040100 or APEX_040200 according to the apex version. Shouldn't it show the actual schema that the application will use?

How to change Moving average price in accouting view at valuation cat level

We are loading Material Master data for one client. We are using LSMW to load this object
We have uploaded u201CMoving Price (MBEW-VERPR)u201D in Accounting 1 view at valuation category level. Unfortunately incorrect value has been loaded Is it possible to change??
We donot have stock for this materials.
When I tried to do this using MM02, I understand that itu2019s grayed out field and cannot be changed in second attempt.
Let me know if there is any other procedure to handle the situation??

Settings for apex 2.1 interface e.g. viewing details

How can I change the apex 2.1 interface "globally" and permanently, for instance I like to have always the "View Details" instead of "View Icons" and at at least 50 should be displayed instead of 15

Filter List View Based on Condition

I have SharePoint List with dropdown column name "Link Level" and it's holding values "Access" "Rejected" .
And I had created view with name "Access" and had set the filter scetion options as below.But I don't find any result,Can any me help me what's the right way to filter the view only with "Access" list item value

According to your description, my understand is that you want to filter list items by “Access” but it displayed nothing.
Did you set the “Access” view as below figure?
Please cancel the filter in the “Access” view (choose none in filter field) and test whether it displays list items.
Please check whether there is any other configuration in the “Access” view.

Substitution of VO & AM will can be done only at site level. However controller extension can be personalized/substituted at any level, which includes responsibility level also.

DM3.0 EA2: Settings for "View Details" are not saved

Hi,
normally I want to see only the attributes and keys in logical model.
I can change the settings at "View Details" to "Attributes" and "Keys" and the view is changing. When I close data modeler, start it again and open the recend data model, the settings are again on default "All details".
Is this the standard or should the view settings be saved?
I am running Data Modeler on Windows XP with german localization and the JDK 1.6.0_11 from Oracle SQL Developer.

The settings for "View Details" are now saved and restored, when the data model is opened again.

Reg: Turkish characters issue on BW 3.10 Bex level and RSRT

We are facing the same problem with the turkish characters, Our system is BW 3.10 (3.30 Cont) and ECC 6.0. The turkish characters are displaying correctly at the table level, but not at the RSRT or the Bex level.
The turkish characters are displaying correctly at the table, RSRT and Bex level if we load the same record from the Non-unicode Prod system to the Non-unicode BW Dev system, but if we load from the unicode QA system the same record is not displaying correctly.
Has anybody got a solution for this issue

Yes, we installed transport request, which came with Integration Kit in our BW System.
We are also facing another issue,
ISSUE 2:
We have another publication with oracle DataSource , where we need to publish report(personalized) for 200 users.
Even we configured dedicated processing server for that publication and setting maximum no of connection to 250, it is throwing error like maximum no of concurrent connection reached.
Previously it was working with just 50 connections.
Now we are running this report by setting max no of connection to 500, and doing service restart after each publication.
Otherwise next publication will throw same error again.
Guide me on this also.

Can we only year value from "0FISCPER" (Fiscal Year/Period) at BEx level

Hi all,
I have two time characteristics "0FISCYEAR" (Fiscal Year) and "0FISCPER" (Fiscal Year/Period). In DSO initially "0FISCPER" was there and later request came to add "0FISCYEAR". Now data in char. "0FISCPER" is since beginning (from 2000) and for char. "0FISCYEAR" is since 2010.
User's requirement is to create a report which will display data Year wise.
My issue is if i am using "0FISCYEAR" then user is not able to see year instead it shows #. I dont want to do data reloading as this is GL data and hold huge no. of records in it.
So my concern is : Is there any way to use only year value from "0FISCPER" (Fiscal Year/Period) at BEx level? Is there any setting which I can apply and get the same value of Year as I can see from "0FISCYEAR". Please assist me on this.

however, I would still suggest to reload the data. you will only need to reload years before 2010 and you can do this in phases.

Permission Details of Permission Level

I would need to retrieve permission details of permission level programmatically. For example: We have full control , i would like to get what all are the permissions included in the permission level. I was exploring SProle, SPbasepermission.
The class “SPBasePermissions” has enumeration using which I am able to get the permission type but not the permission description to show as below. I am able to get using ‘manage lists’, add items, edit items’ etc enumeration value but not the
corresponding description. So would like to check whether anyone has done anything related to this before. pls let me know.
