Filter WO per status: waiting equipment to be in Shutdown

Hi gurus,
We need to be able filtering WO's that can not be carried out until equipment is in shutdown.
any idea?

There are various ways you could achieve this.This all depends on the Business process thats in place to record and capture the same.
Here is one option.
Setup a user status on order indicating "Awaiting Shutdown" and have the user assign the same as part of the create Work order process or have the Planner assign the same to the order. Use the standard list edit transaction to filter and list orders with this user status.

Hello every one, I am having calibration scenerio in my project. All process is running properly but the issue which i am having is that when i am giving usage decision i should get a pop up to change the status of the equipment which is not coming in my case. i have checked followup action whch PM_QM there i have activated 2 Funtion modules one is for automatic TECO of order which is working properly and second is change to status in equipment master which is not working for me. Kindly give some guidance to me on same.

Please let me know the equipment type you are using.
If you are using equipment type other than Q then u may get such type of issues.

Messages in BPM with Status Waiting

Hi,
I have created BPM for Message Collect like the standard SAP Pattern BpmPatternCollectMessage. But for terminating Message Ive used Message type (Message interface) different from the Message type in the main Fork section. I thought that it is possible correlation between two message Interfaces with different Message types?
Any way I had an Error in my BPM and after a test the Status for my Messages is Successful for inbound and Waiting (Message being sent) for Outbound. All my Messages are collected in a Queue, Wait step is created but BPM dont proceed further.
So Ive made some changes in my BPM and tried with a new Test but it works with the old Version of the BPM and collects the Messages in the same Queue. So any idea how can I use the new BPM version? Should I Delete Manually the old Messages with Status Waiting or there is also different way?

have you registered queues on XI? TCODE - SXMB_ADM - manage queues ?

Report to show "# of Lead" as per status

I am trying to create a report to show "# of Lead" as per status from Reporting Subject area. i.e.
like below
Assigned to >> #lead = Qualified >> #lead = Converted etc.
How can I achieve this without using analytics sub area. Thanks.

if you want to show 2 activities per year create a group on the year and don't remove your existing group if you've got objects that you need in the group. move the Year group up to the top level.
then right click on the activities formula and choose to Insert a Summary and choose a Minimum. insert the summary at the year group level. now go back to your Group Sort Expert and choose the top n for the new minimum summary.
if that's not what you're looking for, please provide a mockup of what you're looking for.

Shared Apps (iTunes) with status "waiting" on iPhone

We do have 2 iPhones. We do share Apps which can be done via iTunes (we're in the same network, the same household). So Apps bought with one iPhone can be used on the other one as well. That was cool stuff! WAS, because it's not anymore. Since the latest update there are some Apps doubled, one of a pair is OK the other one is on status "waiting".
Shutting down the iPhone, restarting
Syncing with iTunes
Using the one and the other Apple-ID
we've tryed everything we could imagine.
But still there are (only on one of the two iPhones) doubled Apps, "hanging around", they can not be deleted (no X to delete 'em).
Any idea how to solve this?
(dont tell me to erase the iPhone completely and set it up again )

Try tapping on that and the log back in with your account - but if the apps were downloaded (either directly on the phone or on the computer's iTunes that they were synced from) by your husband's account then only his account will be able to download updates to them.

Looking for transaction start Workitems in status "waiting"

we have to test some workflows. There are several Workitems in the WF in status waiting. So we have to do a lot clicks tu run this workitems.
Is there a transaction to start all or some selected Workitems ?

At least I am not aware of any "mass complete wait" functionality (if this is what you are looking for?).
You could list the work items with SWIA, and then Ctrl+Shift+F12 (=Display work item from menu) -> Edit -> Change -> Complete wait. After first time you don't need the "Edit -> Change" part, so it will be just few clicks. Of course it's still quite annoying if you have hundreds of work items...

There is no rule or std instruction which user status to be assinged to equipment,FL, Notification or order. In std you may get some user status for equipment. notification etc. It doesnt mean that you should use it. User status are define /created base on the business requirement . a user status can be assigned to multiple object type such as equipment, notification ,order etc.
You can refer the std user status profile when you create your own. In order to know the detail of it object type. You can select the status profile >> click on the detail>> click on the object types.

Through User Status, you can check the current status of the Equipment i.e., whether the equipment is available or under calibration.
If you want to see no. of times, the particular equipment calibrated, go to IW39, give the Calibration Order Type & Equipment No and select all the options (In process, completed, etc.,), so that you can list the orders created.

Changing the status of Equipment in a follow up action

Hi All,
           I have a requirement in which a function module will be triggered for a particular Follow up action.
In this FM we have to determine the equipment and the Maintenance Order , if both are available , status of the equipment
should change to 'A' , status of maintenance - order = 'Technically completed' and Maintenance Notification = 'Notification Completed' .
How can this be done.? I am able to change the status of Maintenance order and notification but can anyone help me in
determining the equipment and changing its status to 'A'. ?

                 The process is as follows :
1) During Calibration of a product,depending on the technician's User decision , 3 follow up actions are created.
2) Each follow up action has one FM associated with it, which is customised in      SPRO > Display IMG > Quality Management > Quality Inspection > Inspection Lot Completion > Define follow-Up Action .
3) In the first case ( first Follow up action when the inspection is successful) the first FM is triggered. In this FM we have to perform the following steps :
                               a) Determine the Maintenance Order and the equipment.
                               b) Incase both are available, status of equipmnt should be changed to 'A',
                                   Maintenance Order should be changed to 'Technically completed' and
                                   Maintenance Notification to 'Notification Completed' .

XI tries 3 times before changing the status of the message to System Error. One can Manually resend the error messages by using the RESEND button in RWB. In scenarios where XI was trying to send the message to an end system that was down for maintenance, you would want XI to resubmit the message automatically without human intervention. What would be nice is to able to tune the retries like IS_Retry which is available for Integration engine.
We can achieve this by changing the retry count used by the Adapter Engine, by default its set to 3 times, 5 minutes apart. This count can be changed in Visual Admin->server->services-> SAP XI Adapter: XI.
Here change the number Retries parameter from 3 to 10 and change the retry retryInterval to around 10minutes. For these configuration changes to be picked up, restart SAP XI Adapter: XI.

EPMA 11.1.2 Essbase Hangs at status waiting for Update

I know that in 11.1.1.3 there were issues deploying an essbase cube from EPMA, 11.1.2 however claims to be able to do this, but I am having a problem getting the cube deployed.
I am on 64-Bit Windows 2008, all hyperion products are version 11.1.2 with SQL backend.
I can validate a simple cube just fine from EPMA.
I can create cubes in EAS.
I however cannot deploy a simple cube from EPMA. I have checked all conditions on permissions and followed the guidelines.
The essbase application is registering to Shared Services (thus I can make sure the permissions are Provisioned).
The system gets stuck at "Waiting for Status Update..." it will remain at that level (50%) without ever updating. I have changed the awproperties file to time out after 45 minutes. I am not seeing any errors recorded in any of the logs to indicate what problem is going on.
I need some suggestions as to where to look to force some form of error logs that will give me some clue to the next errors I need to deal with. Or some advice from anyone that has experienced this issue. This is an essbase cube not a planning application. I have EPMA HFM Applications, as well as FCM, FDM deployed on the same foundation without issue.
The only issue I can find close to this is a Planning deploy with problems about JVM size but nothing about Essbase application JVMs.
Any ideas?

Is this an essbase only application? It seems like the property is defaulting to stored and then flipping the initial stored member to shared because Essbase isn't interpreting the deployment correctly. I would try using ShareData as the datastorage property (I think that is the correct spelling). Also, I believe the correct way to set IsPrimary is Y/N and not 0/1.
If that did not work I would try the following in this order:
1 - I would first extract the dimension in question using the file generator and confirm that the properties are indeed correct.
2 - If they were correct. I would toggle the dimension from shared->local->shared. EPMA is still a little nutty and this will fix a fair amount of issues as it will 'refresh' the application's version of the dimension. I would then deploy
3 - deploy from EPMA->Planning only (no essbase creation), then deploy to essbase separately after ensuring the property represents itself in planning. If it is essbase only - create the outlnie instead of refresh.
4 - create a duplicate app in EPMA and deploy the copy of the app - and see if it has the same problem
Try that and see how it goes.

Message Monotir: Adapter Engine Status:Waiting

We made a copy of our DEV XI instance and I'm currently testing it.
HTTP to RFC and HTTP to FILE scenarios are working perfectly. My problem is with FILE to FILE scenarios. The file gets read and archived but I don't see anything in SXMB_MONI. When checking RTWB, Message Monitor I can see the message but it's status is waiting. I've checked SMQ1 and SMQ2 and they are empty (these were cleared down earlier today and we followed that with a restart). Any suggestions where else I should look.

Filter Agent Inbox statuses by Transaction type

Hi,
We have 100 inbox statuses mapped to different tranaction type and status profile. Now when we see big list of inbox statuses when searching for the transactions in the agent inbox.
Is there a way to display only the transaction specific statuses? i.e when I select a transaction type to search only the inbox statuses mapped to the transaction type to be displayed.

I don't think we can filter by Inspection Lot Type in BAPI_INSPLOT_GETLIST,
I would try below options,
Option 1:
You can filter via BAPI_INSPLOT_GETDETAIL that is First pass the Insp Lot number to Detail retrieve the Details and then go for filtering as suggested by SOM
Option2:
Use "RFC_READ_TABLE" and pass the relevant QM Table name or View name to RFC and fetch the desired results
Option3:
Write Custom RFC (z-rfc)

Chek System and User status during Equipment creation (IE01)

Hi gurus
I need to check if the system state I0180-NPRT is set by teh use during the creation of an equipment.
I tried to use the FM BAPI_EQUI_GETSTATUS and ITO3_EQUIPMENT_READ_STATUS with the exit IEQM0003, but both FM doesn't retrieve any status during the creation of the equipment (IE01), while both work fine during change operation (IE02).
Someboday has an idea, regarding the right FM to use for solve my issue ???
