Filtering Only Images by using query text

Hi Dear,
I am going through in a trouble..
that is i want to filter only images from a site by using "query text" in "Search Result webpart"
I am writting the following query but not  getting any result...
{searchboxquery}ContentType:Image   and i have tried with "ContentType:Picture" also but not getting output..
Please anybody guide me..

Hi cibun,
Firstly, please ensure you could search images in Search center. By default, image type could not searched, you should manually add jpg, png, gif etc. type in Search result type of site collection.
Now go to the library which has image uploaded, then view properties. Below will show the content type, and by default it will be document type if image was uploaded to a document library. That is why you could not filter images by Image content type.
You could create a content type for image or use existing image content type, then in the Query Text, type the following:
ContentType:Image
I assume you are using Image content type.

  • Image Map Linked to Text w/in Same Topic (RoboHelp 10)

I would like to create an image map using certain text that resides in the same topic as the image. I do not want the user to see the text when viewing online; I only want them to see the pop-up when they click on the mapped image. I do, however, want the text to print if the user chooses to do so. I've been playing around with bookmarks and conditional flags but can't seem to get it to function properly. Can what I'm trying to do be done?

I doubt this is achievable, certainly not within the Rh interface. You could link the image to a popup but it would have the content of another topic set up for the purpose. As such it would not be included when you print the topic with the image.

I need to reprogram the delete and enter key to the left side of a external keyboard for the ipad mini. I don't need the caps/lock or ctrl key. Due to a brain injury my daughter can only use her left hand to type. She also uses a text to speech app to verbalize all of her needs since her speech isn't intelligible any longer either. And her vision was significantly affected also, so the keyboard has to be mounted about 6 inches from her face. So to reach across the keyboard with her left hand to the right side delete and enter button is physically difficult and causes typing errors, which cause people to not understand what shes trying to say.
The best keyboard so far is the Zagg folio mini. I just had to make stickers to enlarge the letters on the key buttons.
Does anyone know how I can reprogram these two keys? Or where I can buy a wireless mini keyboard for Ipad made for lefthanders with these two functions on the left side. I have searched for days and days. It's sooooo important to me that she be able to contribute her voice again. Imagine if you got in a car accident and couldn't speak clearly any longer, but understood everything still. Thanks for any help and suggestions you all take the time to share with me. I really appreciate the kindness of strangers to help me help my daughter.

    You cannot.

Is the component uiscrollbar for use with text fields only?

Yeah, it isn't in the library, you need to call it up using code.  It is documented in the help files though, so that should help you get it into use.

No its not normal. I'm not sure how big these bright spots are, but it could be a hardware problem. Without more details, I would suggest that you take it to an Apple Store or take it back to wherever you bought it and let the, evaluate the iPad.

  • Can I use photoshop text styles and photoshop actions with creative cloud photography?

I'm really confused by this subscription pricing. If I purchase the $9.99/month, do I get the full desktop app of Photoshop and Lightroom? But I see on this page Products they list something called Photoshop CC that costs twice as much. How is that different from the Creative Cloud Photography?
My main question is whether I can use photoshop text styles and photoshop actions with Creative Cloud Photography, since I just purchased a bundle that includes these and I want to be able to use them. But I'd also like to understand what comes with all of the various products and how they are different.
My other question is how is Lightroom different from Photoshop? I have a sense of what you can do in Photoshop but I don't know much about Lightroom at all.
One more question: the free trial -- is it limited in any way besides the time length? If I do that, will I get a clear idea of all that I will be able to do once I subscribe, or are the functions limited in the trial?
I tried to just send an email to Adobe to ask these questions but apparently they are not interested in responding to emails from people who are not yet paying customers, so I was directed here. Thanks very much for your help!

I always like to trot this bit about Bridge once in a while or in the voice of the "Two Bobs" from Office Space,
"Can you tell us exactly what it is you do around here?"
    What Adobe Bridge does:
Bridge is the coordinating hub of the Creative Suite. Synchronizing color management settings for all suite programs is done from Bridge, and can only be done from Bridge, to take one important use.
Bridge displays actual thumbnails of many more file types than Finder or Explorer. It also allows instant play of sound or video files more readily than the native OS file managers.
Bridge allows direct access to file metadata, to embed copyright information  and keywords where appropriate (e.g., for corporate logo vector and raster files). It also displays the fonts used in an InDesign file, the swatches in an INDD or AI and the output plates (including spot color plates) they use.
When managing the assets for a design project, Bridge allows quick and simple sorting, rating and custom labeling (with color flash indications) of assets. I can rate images according to whether they are rejects, possibles, for review by client, or approved. The filters built into Bridge allow instant isolation of only the approved images or designs in a folder, only the rejects (for deletion) or only files with certain ratings, no matter how many files it contains. It recognizes aspect ratios, so if I only need a landscape or a 16:9 image in a folder of hundreds of images, I turn off the aspect ratios I don't need.
Once filtered, the remaining visible files can be selected and copied, moved, or deleted without affecting the rest of the contents of a folder.
Collections are a massively useful feature. One of my clients is a performing arts center, and in a season we turn out dozens of ads, flyers, brochures, web banners, playbills, billboards and other collateral using the same assets over and over. These assets are organized by artist and/or show on disk, but I set up each season's repeating assets as a Collection in Bridge, so that I just have to open the collection and drag and drop these assets into new INDD, AI, PSD, HTML (in Dreamweaver), FLA or AE projects without having to navigate from folder to folder picking up individual files.
Bridge's Favorites is another place I stack frequently-accessed folders, such as stock photography, backgrounds, and top-level folders for active projects.
Assets can be divided into subfolders, but a quick toggle of "Show items from subfolders" exposes all of the assets in a single view while maintaining their organization. I will typically keep AIs, PSDs, EPSs, stock photography and client images in separate subfolders within a project. When I'm ready to start pulling assets into an InDesign layout, I toggle this on and simply drag what I need into the layout.
Bridge comes with Adobe Camera Raw built in, which is many times faster than using Photoshop to adjust jpegs or tiffs for things like tonal range, white balance, cropping, spotting and sharpening, and is non-destructive.
One tremendously useful Bridge function for InDesign CS5+ users is the "Show linked files" feature, which opens all the linked files in a layout into a single view, regardless of where they are physically located. I often use this when doing alternative layouts from a client-approved mockup for a campaign, to be certain the same assets are used in each piece, or when creating a motion graphic or interactive piece for the campaign in After Effects or Flash.
The batch and image processing scripts built into Bridge automate things like creating web-ready small jpegs from multiple images, renaming large numbers of files in place or by copying to an alternative location, creating sets of PSD, png, jpeg or other file types from an assortment of image files, and so on.
Bridge is so much a part of my daily workflow that on my main workstation I have one monitor dedicated to it almost 100%. Bridge just sits open 24/7, ready for use. I would run at half speed without it, no question.

  • Issues using Oracle Text conditions

    Hi all,
I'm facing an issue executing a query on a VIEW using Oracle Text Indexes.
The DB version I'm using is "Enterprise 9.2.0.5".
TEST_VIEW is an sql-view that has a query on several tables where one of them has two Oracle Text indexes, one on field FIELD2 and another on FIELD3
executing this query I get 10 rows:
    select *
    from TEST_VIEW
    where FIELD1 = 1001 -- regular condition
    and (contains(FIELD2, 'Blitz') > 0 ) -- Oracle text condition
But if I add another condition on an existent Oracle Text Index, I'll get only 1 row:
    select *
    from TEST_VIEW
    where FIELD1 = 1001
    where (contains(FIELD2, 'Blitz') > 0 OR contains(FIELD3, 'Blitz') > 0)
As you can see the third condition was added using a logical OR, so I should get at least 10 rows ...
    Can anyone help me ?
    ThaNks in advance.
    Eduardo.

    Eduardo,
Without a full test case, it is hard to see if there is something wrong or not. I did the following, and all worked fine on my 10g instance. I had to assume some things, but I at least think I have the basic gist of your inquiry in this example. Run it/change it to match your situation, and post back when you can.
    Thanks,

  • Using oracle text on a non-materialized view

I'm having trouble tracking down an error when using oracle text on a non-materialized view (indexes are on the referenced columns). My database has a users table and a user history table which saves the old values when a user profile changes. My view performs a "union all" so I can select from both at once.
I would like to use oracle text to perform a "contains" on the view whenever someone signs up to see if any current users or historical entries contain the desired username.
    The following works fine:
contains(user_history_view, 'bill')but when I reference anything in the contains clause, i get a "column is not indexed" error:

    Hi,
this is to my knowledge not possible. It is hard for Oracle to do, think about a table with many rows, every row with that column must be checked. So I think only a single varchar2 is possible. Maybe for you will a function work. It is possible to give a function as second parameter.
    function return_signup
    return varchar2
    is
      l_signup_name signup.signup_name%type;
    begin
      select signup_name
      into l_signup_name
      from signup
      where signup_id = 1
      and rownum = 1
      return l_signup_name;
    exception
      when no_data_found
      then
l_signup_name := 'abracadabra'; -- hope does not exist
        return l_signup_name;
end;Now you can use above function in the contains.
    select * from user_history_view users --, signup new_user
    --where new_user.signup_id = 1
where contains(users.user_name, return_signup)>0;I didn't test the code! Maybe you have to adjust the function for your needs. But it is a idea how this can be done.
Otherwise you must make the check by normaly check the columns by simple using a join:
    select * from user_history_view users, signup new_user
    where new_user.signup_id = 1
    and users.user_name = new_user.signup_name;Herald ten Dam

  • Search Results Query Text - Get all data, Exclude all list data except one

    Hi Experts,
I have a situation wherein in the global search of our internal site, we have to display all results & restrict any list item except one list. Earlier we had restricted /Lists/ & People to be displayed in the results.
But in the new search results I have to display results from only one list along with other results (documents, sites, pages etc).
Below is the original query text entered in the Search Results Query Text editor
    {searchboxquery} -contentclass:STS_List_Links
    -filename:allitems.aspx  -Path:/articles/Pages/default.aspx
    -filename:DispForm.aspx  -Path:/Lists/ -Path:person.aspx
I have tried various different queries with AND, OR operator. I have researched other blogs, sites over google. But unsuccessful. I am sure this is not a rare requirement. Need your expert help.
I have tried this query also...
    {searchboxquery} (-filename:allitems.aspx -Path:/articles/Pages/ -Path:/Lists/ -Path:/PublishingImages/) OR
    (+(+Path: /Lists/ArticleContent/ AND +filename:*.aspx) AND
    -(-Path: */Lists/* OR -filename:*.aspx))
    Vighnesh Bendre
    MCTS
    http://markviky.blogspot.com

    Vighnesh,
You should have success using the following:
    {searchboxquery} -contentclass:STS_List_Links -filename:allitems.aspx  -Path:/articles/Pages/default.aspx -Path:person.aspx ((-filename:DispForm.aspx  -Path:/Lists/) OR Path:/Lists/ArticleContent/)
Two things from your original query were excluding list items from your results, your exclusion of file
DispForm.aspx and path Lists.  By using "OR" in the above query, we're creating an exception to also allow items under
Lists/ArticleContent to be included in the results.

  • NEAR operator alternative when not using. oracle Text ?

    hi,
I'm working on a project where i would need a Oracle Text 'NEAR like' operator ...
    here is my scenario ...
in db we have Customers ... and every customer has some criterias like different search words( names, towns,cars,etc...) so for every customer i can create an SQL query out of criterias . ....
now .... we can have a criteria like. ...... WHERE fulltext like 'john%'. or even distance search line NEAR inside CONTAINS. ... but then the Oracle text index is needed .....
the only tAble on which Text index is created is our storage table that holds more then 4mil records and growing...
my question is ... is there any way to have a query that would do the same thing as NEAR but without Text index ?
here is how I start ....
I get full newspaper article text from our OCR library ......
then i need to check customer's criterias against this text to see which article is for which customer and then bind the article to the customer
I could do it without Oracle using RegEx , but criterias can get really complicated ... like customer wants only specific MEDIA, or specific category , type , only articles that are from medias that are from specific country etc ... and many more different criterias ... and all this can be wrapped inside brackets with ANDs, ORs, NOT. ....
So the only way to do it is to put it in Oracle and execute the correct query and let Oracle decide if the result is true or false .... but due to NEAR operator I need Oracle text ...
So if I decide to first insert article into our storage table which has Oracle text index to be able to do the correct search .... how fast will this be ????
will the the search become slower when there are 6mil records ? I know I can use FILTER BY to help Text index to do a better and quicker seach ... and how to optimize index ....but still
I'm always asking my self..... why insert the article in a table where there are already 6mil articles and execute query when I only need to check data on one single article and. i already know this article ...
    I see two solutions :
    - if there is alternative for NEAR without using Oracle text index then i would insert data into temporary table and execute query on this table..... table would always contain only this one article. maybe one option would be to have one 'temp' table with Oracle text index in which i insert this one article and with help of Oracle text based on this one article do the search , and then maybe on a daily basis clear index ..... or when the article is removed from the table ... but this would mean having two Orcle text indexes, cause we already have Oracle text index on our storage table anyway....
    - another is to use Oracle text index and insert it into our storage table and hope for the best quick results ....
Maybe I'm exaggerating and query like WHERE id=1234 and CONTAINS(...). will execute faster then I think
If anyone would have any other suggestion I will be happy to try it ..
    thanks,
    Kris

  • Address Matching Using Oracle Text

    Hi,
I am a newbie to Oracle Text. Hence please pardon my ignorance if this is a "RTFM" Query.
We would like to clash our customer addresses against a table (GEO) that has addresses and geographic coordinates (latitude, longitude etc). The customer address data are in four VARCHAR2 columns (address1, address2, address3 & address4) and need not be in the same order as the address data in the GEO table.
Has anybody used Oracle Text to do similar work to score addresses?
Any links & pointers will be highly appreciated.
    Thanks in advance.
    Best Regards
    Ramdas

When you use a multi_column_datastore, even though the index is only created using one column name and only that column name is used in the contains clause, it searches all columns named in the multi_column_datastore. It may be clearer if you use a dummy column with a name that has more meaning; I have used addresses in the revised example below.
Queries run faster if you put everything in one contains clause instead of using multiple contains clauses.
If you add a section group and field sections, then you can search within those sections and apply weights. In the following example I have doubled the score for results in address1 and address2 and halved the score for results in address3 and address4.
    SCOTT@orcl_11gR2> CREATE TABLE customers

  • Using Dynamic Text to tell a Hyperlink where to go.

So I am having a little trouble on my site, and this community seems like a good place to go for help, and I am sure someone out here can help me.
I have a webpage that uses dynamic text and images, and it serves as my user profile page. I know the database and all of that stuff is set up correctly because all of the dynamic text shows up as it should.
Here is the problem I am having. I have an area where a user will be able to view files he has uploaded, and click on the name of a file to view it.
The way I have it set up, is the clickable text is dynamic text from the server, called uploadname1. I want to make this text into a link, that sends them to the file stored as fileupload1.
Here is my code that I thought should do it.
    "<a href="<?php echo $row_Recordset1['fileupload1']; ?>"/><?php echo $row_Recordset1['uploadname1']; ?></a>" (minus the quotes of course)
The text underlines and changes the color as it should, but it is not clickable. Can someone out there help me?

  • Query text and execution plan collection from prod DB Oracle 11g

    Hi all,
I would like to collect query text, query execution plan and other statistics for all queries (mainly select queries) from production database.
I am doing this by using OEM by click on Top activity link under performance tab but this gives top sql which is recent.
This approach is helpful only when I need to debug recent queries only. If I need to know slow running queries and their execution plan at the end of day or sometime later then it’s not helpful for me.
Anybody who has some better idea to do this will really be helpful.

    we did followings:
1.Used awrextr.sql to export dmp file from production database.(imported snpashot id from 331 to 560)
    2.transfer file to test database.
3.Used awrload.sql to import it in test database.
but when we used OEM and went to Automatic Workload Repository link under Server tab
its not showing snapshots of production database (which we have imported in test database )
and showing only snapshot which was already there in test database.
We did not find any error in import/export.
do we need to perform something else also to display snapshots of production database in test database.

  • Improving existing PDF image quality without losing text

I have finished PDFs, the result of an OCR process that produced text under image files.  I would like to modify the lighting of the images without changing the text part of the PDF.  Is this possible in any version of Acrobat Pro?  And, if so, which version and how is it done?

I tried to do that, but I can't get Photoshop to deal withn the whole document--only single pages. and the document is over 200 pages long.  I can save the PDF images in some image format and edit the batch, but then I can't get them reconnected to the text.  (I have used batch processes in Photoshop, but it won't regard the PDF document as a batch.)  So, I seem stuck wither way. It seems as if there is no way to improve images in a text-under-image PDF while using Acrobat Pro--which was my original question.
If there is a way that any one knows about, I would love to hear about it.
