Filtering within stacks

I have been working with a number of images, some of which are stacked together.  I open a stack, edit an image and mark it with 5 stars. Close the stack, then move on to the next one.  After finishing editing all my images, and all stacks are closed, I apply a 5-star filter so that I can select all my 5-star images and move them to a collection.  However, none of the images in the (closed) stacks are selected!   Is there any way around this without opening all my stacks one by one before applying a selection filter?

"Is there any way around this without opening all my stacks one by one before applying a selection filter? "
The easiest way is to select all, then hit the letter S which expands/contracts stacks.
Think of items in stacks as being hidden.

  • Search/filtering within playlists feature removed

    Hi,
    Spotify updated itself yesterday to version 1.0.1.988.g8f17a348. The UI got overhauled and few features got removed but the most annoying thing about the change was the disappearance of searching/filtering within a playlist. CMD + F doesn't do anything right now. It was an essential feature used very frequently by me. What exactly was the reasoning behind removing it? Will it be brought back?

    What is the thought process going on with the product and engineering team? Can they stop releasing updates to the product that lack critical functionality? This is the same terrible decision making that allowed the "Your Music" features not to exist on the iPad for a year after it was released everywhere else. What's even more frustrating is that I've now received 2-3 updates since the filter feature was removed and it's still missing! I love Spotify, but this total lack of common sense is unbelievably frustrating and deeply concerning. At this point I wouldn't be surprise if you release a new version that didn't have shuffle or just removed the ability play songs altogether. "Hey the new Spotify looks better than ever and soon we'll add back the ability to play music!!!"* At least I know this guy landed on his feet with a great product manager position at Spotify... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AxWWJaTEdD0 *Sorry for the deep sarcasm, but I mean, c'mon man!

  • DAX - IF statement and filters within calculated column

    Hi all,
    I've got a bit of a complex formula I'm trying to run, but I'm not quite there yet.  I don't know where/how/if I can place a filter within my IF statement for a calculated column due to so many variables.  I either get errors or wrong numbers.
    Hope the following makes sense.
    Here is my formula for the calculated column [Years Since Last Task]:
    =IF (ISBLANK([Last Task Date]) && ([Current Role]<>BLANK()), DIVIDE([Quarters],4), FLOOR(1. * ( today() - [Last Task Date]) / 365, 0.25))
    Problem:  I am getting "114.25" for Ken....but I want a blank result instead.  Meaning, I need to also filter out any name (row) who has a blank [Current Role].  How do
    I add a filter to this current formula?  Is one more step of filtering possible in this IF statement?  (Maybe I shouldn't use an IF statement, and try CALCULATE instead?)
    Below is the table 'Work' for you to see what's happening.

    you can use nested IF-statements here:
    =IF (ISBLANK([Current Role]),
    BLANK(),
    IF(ISBLANK([Last Task Date]),
    DIVIDE([Quarters],4),
    FLOOR(1. * ( today() - [Last Task Date]) / 365,0.25)

  • Sort images within stack by rating?

    Hi Gang,
    I'm editing a massive job and there's one part of the process that is taking forever. After I've rated every image within a stack, I seem to have to resort them manually to be shown from highest rating to lowest rating, either by dragging or by using the "promote/demote" buttons.
    Is there any way to make images in a stack sort themselves by rating? This would literally save me hours of time.

    I know of no way to automatically stack by rating. You could create Smart Albums with only certain ratings included. I know that's not exactly what you wanted to do, but it would accomplish a segregation of your photos by rating.
    Sorry not to be able to provide an answer, but I don't think there is one.

  • "Fill base line"/"Fill to" problem within stack plots

    Hi there,
    I try to plot multi data sets within the stack plots waveform chart. But I can't control the Fill To option correctly for the plots other than the first plot in the window. As attached, even I set the fill baseline to zero for the second plot (the green one) in the first window, it performs like fill to -infinity. I am using Labview 2010 DS2.
    Any solution? Or, I made any mistake here?
    Thanks.

    Stack Plot Fill Baseline.vi ‏12 KB

    I agree things behave a bit weird if the number of traces is not a multiple of the number of stacked plots. Do you want three stacked plots or have two traces share one of the plots? Maybe you should use more defined data structures, e.g. an array where each element is a clusters of size=3.
    Try the following:
    resize the plot legend so 4 stacked plots show.
    Now resize it again for two stacked plots.
    In my case, the fill to zero is now correct.

  • Star Ratings within stacks

    How do you get a star rated image (that is part of a stack but is the only one rated) to show in a smart album?
    The only way this seems to work is if you rate the overall stack - then it automatically appears.
    Can't fathom it!

    Thanks for that.
    Can it also be done within the main Library for the
    Smart Libraries such as: 5 star, 1 star or better,
    Rejected etc etc?
    No, there's no way to have those or the quick-search stuff look inside stacks.
    If you need that to work, just make your own top-level smart albums with the same criteria as the "Library" smart albums, and then group them inside of a folder that you name to keep up top near Library. Create them at the top level before you put them in a folder or they will not be able to see any images. Once you create a smart almbum it always "sees" into the same places as when you created it no matter what folder you put it in after.

  • DNS Packet Filtering Within BM3.9

    Hi
    I hope you can help - now i think i know the answer to this (No!), but i really need some functionality within ZCM10 working ok for patches. See :- here

    Yes, and? There's no relation to DNS here, right?
    > How is this possible through bordermanager without proxy

    Then you either allow by source IP of your ZCM server (you can do that
    throug hfiltering or in proxy authentication rules). Or you allow
    unauthenticated access to the targets by their DNS name (proxy access
    rules only).

    > down to the filters which in our case do not allow DNS based filtering

    > also.
    Windows updates are an entirely different matter. I strongly suggest a
    WSUS server, and again allow that to go through the proxy based on it's
    IP. Automatic Windows updates using the proxy have never worked through
    Bordermanagers Proxy. I know there are some odd reports that it works,
    but that doesn't match my experience.
    > So the question im asking is can i use DNS based filtering as that TID
    > implies that i need it.
    No you can't, and no, that TID does not imply that. You *can* of course
    configure the necessary access rules by target DNS name or even allow
    filter exceptions based on source IP of your ZCM servers.

  • Stacks within stacks?

    Not so much a question... but why isn't this a feature?
    Many times I route a handful of things into a bus (or track stack) only to end up routing that bus and maybe a few other into a semi'master' bus.
    It would be awesome if I could have that master bus operate as a track stack in my environment with the 'open/close' function.  Yes, I can make that master bus into a track but I can't even take multiple busses and condense them in my environment window.  Or can I with folders or something?
    Regardless... I dont want folders!
    Just a thought!

  • ProgressBar within Stack-Layout

    Hello, I have created a custom Node to view a Text centered in a ProgressBar by using the Stack-Layout. All works, but the ProgressBar always has a invisible space on the left and the right side and I do not know, how to delete this space:
    def progressBar:ProgressBar=ProgressBar {
    progress: ...
       def text:Text = Text{
           content: actualProgress
    def rectangle:Rectangle = Rectangle{
        width: 200
        height: 100
        fill: Color.BLACK
    Stage {
        width: 400
        height: 150
        scene: Scene {
                content: HBox {
                spacing: 10
                content: [
                Stack {
               // this does only lay out the text to left side, but not the progressBar..strange
               nodeHPos: HPos.LEFT
               // Unfortunately, the progressBar is not placed at the beginning of the HBox -
              // there is always a invisible gap at the progressBars left bound and right bound
               content: [progressBar,text]
             // the strange thing is, when using rectangle instead of progressBar, then the layout is ok,
             // as there is no gap at the rectangles left and right bound
            // content: [rectangle,text]
    }When using a Rectangle instead of the control "ProgressBar" then no invisible space occurs, which is okay.
    Is there any trick to lay out the progressBar without having a trailing space on the left and right side of this component when using the Stack-Layout?

    Hello,
    use this code and you will see, what I mean:
    import javafx.scene.Node;
    import javafx.scene.CustomNode;
    import javafx.scene.control.ProgressBar;
    import javafx.scene.text.Text;
    import javafx.scene.layout.Stack;
    public class MyProgressBar extends CustomNode{
    public var progressBarTitle:String;
    def progressBar:ProgressBar=ProgressBar { progress:0.0 }
    def text:Text = Text{ content: progressBarTitle }
    override protected function create(): Node {
        Stack  { content: [progressBar,text] }
    Now, I want to make use of my CustomNode:
    import myPackage.MyProgressBar;
    def myProgressBar:MyProgressBar= MyProgressBar{
        progressBarTitle: "Hello Progressbar"
    Stage {
        width: 400
        height: 150
        style: StageStyle.DECORATED
        scene: Scene {
                content: VBox { content: [ myProgressBar ] }
    }You will see, that the progressBar is not on the top-left corner of the scene. Am I right? Why is that so? How can I solve that?

  • Filtering within JMS Header

              Hi,
              I am writing a simple jms based application, which has multiple subscribers and
              each subscriber would consume a message based on unique-id. We have the liberty
              to put this unique-id whereever we want (in the message body or header, whatever
              improves performance).
              What is the most efficient way to achieve this? Performance is a big critirea.
              Appreciate your response.

    WL has an "indexed subscriber" feature that exactly matches this
              purpose. See the selector section of the
              "JMS Performance Guide" white-paper on dev2dev.bea.com.

  • Retrive Business Partners related to the filters of an Attribute set

    Hi SAP Gurus,
    I hv a requirement to get Business Partners related to the filters of an Attribute set.
    I hv used a FM 'CRM_MKTTG_SAL_SEARCH_DB' to get the GUID of the attribute list.
    If the GUID is passed to another FM 'CRM_MKTTG_SAL_READ' we can get the details of the attribute list i.e. GUIDs of Attributes and Filters within the list.
    All we need to o now is to identify the BPs related to the filter criteria.
    So, is there any standard report program or Function Module which can be used to achieve the above purpose?

    Thanks for the reply.
    this FM is taking the Marketing Attribute Set ID as input and returning the BPs in it.
    I would like to know if I create an Attribute list in the T-code CRMD_MKTDS, create a filter criteria for this attribute list, then how come I can determine the BPs related to this filter criteria Can this me achieved by any FM or Standard Report program?

  • CSW: Filtered Google Images still appearing with HTTPS Inspect configured

    Hi,
    I'm currently testing https Inspect to close a hole in the Google Images search.
    I was under the impression that https inspect would not display any images that are in the a blocked category.
    I have a CSW created certificate installed on the PC I'm testing on which I see as being accepted.  If I delete the cert from the PC, then I can't get to google (via https) as the cert is not accepted.
    However, with the cert running on the PC, images are not being filtered within a Google search.  It's not practical for us to change to a "safesearch on" policy and was under the impression that https inspect would indeed filter the images, but it's not.  I've tested on some images that they are blocked as if I click the "visit site" or "view image" links, then I get the blocked page.
    Any help is very appreciated.
    Thanks
    Craig

    Thanks for the answer, but that's crazy, it didn't used to be like that before Google forced https on everyone.
    I can't see how safe search can be enforced?  I know it can be done on at DNS, but that doesn't help our field users who connect to their own/public wifi.  Even when they are VPN'd, we use split tunnelling so that won't work either.
    Seems a real limitation of CWS that you cannot simply manipulate URLs or make custom suffix's?  Or can you?
    Our contract is up later this year and with all the issues we've had lately combined with it not being a very powerful solution, I suspect we'll be looking elsewhere.

  • Strange stack behaviour with referenced files

    I have just started to notice peculiar behaviour with referenced images within stacks. I have been reviewing last years pictures with a view to clearing out the junk.What I have found is rather alarming in that on clicking a stack to open it all the images within the stack were the wrong pictures, wrong as in taken with a different camera in a different year.The top picture does not seem to be affected.On attempting to find the correct files using 'manage referenced files' all the wrong images are shown as found in the list view with their own file names at the same time the thumbnails (top right hand pane) show the original correct file names but with the wrong thumbnails,Aperture does not realise that it is referencing the wrong files and so will not let me reconnect to the correct files.
    Anyone with a similar problem or a cure for this behaviour?

    Ok I have deleted and rebuilt thumbnails files to no avail.
    What appears to be happening is that aperture is using the wrong file-path for the affected pictures.
    I keep all pictures arranged by date order so for example where the correct file path for an image would be;
    Raid Zero/Pictures/2006/0609/060928/pict3722
    Aperture is giving a file path of
    Picture Library/2007/0712/071223/_DCS1023
    in the manage referenced files pane it shows the wrong path as above, the thumbnail picture is of the wrong file but the thumbnail name and date is correct.
    Interestingly since rebuilding the thumbs it is now possible to reconnect to the correct original file whereas before the reconnect option was not available, however it is only possible to do this one file at a time,the re-connect all function does not work presumably because Aperture is not aware that its filepath is wrong.
    Oh dear.... Aperture has just crashed,this immediately after reconnecting 6 files and waiting for the files to update to the correct image in viewer mode.
    GRRRRRRRRR!

  • Images don't show in Pixel Bender Filters.

    Just downloaded and installed Pixel Filters into PS5..  No problem doing that or finding the filters within PS, but when I go to use the filters, the image doesn't show.  I'm working on a duplicate of the image, I've turned the GPU down to basic (because I got a warning), but when I try to use a filter . . . nothing.  Any ideas?
    Running PS5 Extended, version 12.1x32 on Windows 7.  I have a Radeon HD 4500 series graphics card.
    Thanks.

    I've got a similar problem.  I am VERY frustrated, as I use Oilpaint for my work.  I have posted on several Forumsstarting 4 months ago, talked to Adobe (who gives no support for this) and have had no help.
    I have been through 5 computers, my 6th is on the way .... several cameras and memory cards.  Only one out of 5 computers has no iisue (my wife's).  The problem seemed to be gone, when I bought my 5th computer .... then I bought another camera - now it's back!!!  So, my conclusion is, that this issue has something to do with how information is writtrn onto a memory card.  Maybe some computers "pick up" on some little thing and get confused -  I don't know.  Again, only my laptop works fine, even with thge new camera.
    Try what I did,  use another computer - until you find one that works ... friends, family...etc.  Also, I just found out, that the only way to make Pixelbender work when it does not, is to turn off GPU ... although that slows the process down a lot.
    If my new laptop does not work with my new camera, I'll get another camera and try again .....
