Filters missing in PS CC

I have PS CC 64bit and I have no filters like liquify and painting filters. I already checked the box to show all filters and restated, but nothing happened...

Could you please post a screenshot to illustrate the issue?

  • Filters missing

Reloaded Leopard due to another issue. Motion opens with most everything in tact except when I try to open a template, a window pops up stating that there are several filters missing. It list the filters but does not allow me to reconnect to them.
    What happened?

Yeah, just had the same thing happen after migrating to a Leopard partition. One earlier thread suggested a reformat and reinstall:
    http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?messageID=3900068
However a later discussion seems to point the finger at a case-sensitive volume causing troubles. Unfortunately, my volume is NOT case sensitive, so I don't see how that would fix the problem.

Interestingly, if I leave my old Tiger partition mounted and run Motion off of that, then the filters reappear. Yuck!

  • Photoshop Filters Missing when exporting to PS

Hi all, when using the 'open with external editor' function with Photoshop CS3 i don't seem to have access to all of the filters for some reason. Several menu's are missing, artistic, brush strokes etc.
    Any Ideas?

Got it, you need to convert the PSD to 8-bit.
    Cheers

  • Registry settings problem...upper and lower filters missing!?

    Hi there.
I'm experiencing what seems to be a common problem - missing registry files for burning CDs in itunes. The warning dialog box comes up when i load itunes.
I have the current version of itunes.
My driver's firmware is up to date.
I found and then began to follow the matching support instructions for this problem at the following page:
    http://support.apple.com/kb/TS2372
when I got to step 11 and the lower filter was missing, I didn't worry too much...but then I went to the next step and found that I don't have the upper filters either!
So now I have to solve this second problem first before I can tackle the first...any help would be very much appreciated.
    cheers, justin.

Someone posted this on missing the upper filter entry recently:
    http://discussions.apple.com/message.jspa?messageID=8138108#8138108
I haven't tried it myself and be careful if you decide to try it as it involves editing the registry.

  • Policy Center: Policy creation...filters missing

I notice that when I create a policy in Policy Center, only a subset of the usual filters are available, e.g. Alert etc are missing.
    Any particular reason for this?
Also, just for my understanding on the role of Policy Center -
In my scenario I have 2 instances of OEG (Test and Prod).
My idea was to export all from Test and import to Policy Center.
Then have Policy Center as my single point of truth and update the Prod environment from there.
However, I hit the above issue (certain filters not supported) when I attempted to do this.
So I assume this is not the preferred modus operandi.
I can of course, in Policy Center, select all, or a subset of, the artifacts from Test and deploy straight to Prod.

Would it be possible to get a screen shot the missing alert filter? this should be found in the "Monitoring" section of the palette.
Policy Center is a central point where you can manage, control and version policies and push them out to all Gateways in your domain.

  • VIDEO FILTERS MISSING

When I try to open a project it appears the followin advise:
    D:\Mis documentos\Adobe\Premiere Pro\3.0\UTN3.PPJ.prproj
    Video Filter missing: AE.ADBE Motion
    Video Filter missing: AE.ADBE Opacity
    Video Filter missing: AE.ADBE ShadowHighlight
What can I do to fix it? I´ve already try reinstall the soft, but it happens again.
    Thanks!

success, I just re installed (without deleting anything) and they are there, bit odd they weren't before, can't help wondering if anything else was missed, but there you go, a happy ending, thanks

  • SVG Default filters missing from drop down in cs5

    Hello,
I’m new to using Illustrator and am just learning my way around the effects. I used the svg filter on another project, but when i tried to open them in the drop down menu the only options are to apply or import now. Where did the default set go?

You have probably opened an SVG file which is having no filter applied on any object in the document and it was saved from Ai without Illustrator Editing capabilities or any other application, that is the reason why no default SVG filter is listed in your dropdown.
The concept is, default SVG filters in the dropdown are picked up dynamically at the Document creation time from the file placed at following location:
    Win : C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Illustrator CS5\Support Files\Required\Resources\en_US\Adobe SVG Filters.svg
    Mac : /Applications/Adobe Illustrator CS5/Adobe Illustrator.app/Required/Resources/en_US/Adobe SVG Filters.svg
I case you add another SVG filter (your own written filter code) to this file, it will also be picked up at the time of document creation in the drop down.
If you save an SVG file through Ai with objects having SVG filters applied to it, only those filters which were applied to the object in that particular document would populate on opening the SVG File in the SVG Filters Menu.
In case you want all the default SVG filter available in your dropdown you will have to save the document with Illustrator Editing capabilities Preserved. It is a check Box in the SVG Save options Dialog.

  • Flash Filters Missing

I cannot see any filters in the property panel under "filter". How do I get these filters?
    I am using CS4 version.
    Thank you very much,

At the very bottom of the Properties window in the Filters section, there are six very, very small icons. Three will be active and three inactive. The one at the far left, that looks like a page icon, when clicked, will show you the list of available filters. Don't worry, even after using these icons a thousand times they will still seem illogical, odd and confusing. Much like the rest of the CS4 interface for Flash, its not designed to be useful or intuitive, its designed to look like something else.

  • Filters missing in FILTCFG following reboot

    NW 6.0.5 with BM 3.7 SP2
Every time I reboot my BM 3.7 server, the filter exceptions are no longer
listed in filtcfg... I have to clean out the filters in NDS and run
    filtsrv_migrate to reinstall them.
Once this procedure is done, the filters work and everything's fine, until
the next time I reboot the server, then I have to go through the entire
    procedure again.
Since this server isn't getting along well with ArcServe backup, I usually
have to reboot at least once a week (soft abend), then go through the whole
    procedure again...
Any ideas? I've tried using my backups of filters.cfg (just in case the
original is corrupted), but it doesn't seem to matter...
    Thanks in advance,
    Robert

  • "I/O Name Filtering" missing

I'm having a problem configuring a virtual channel in LabView 2010 (v. 10.0).  I am using a DAQPad - 6020E for which I have configured a digital output channel in MAX.  When I attempt to use the "I/O Name Filtering" option in the context menu for my channel control so that I can see the ouptut channel, no such option appears in the context menu!  Is there some other way of allowing analog output channels to be selected for the channel constant?
Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

I'm sorry that i cannot check your info as i run 64bit Windows. Trad. DAQ won't run on 64bit......
Do you see the same behavior if you drop the channel constant directly from the palette?
I don't get the reason for your MAX screenshot. Do you want to select your virtual channel? If so, make sure you did not drop a "physical channel"-constant!
If you have the correct channel constant: Have you saved your settings in MAX before dropping the constant?
    Norbert
CEO: What exactly is stopping us from doing this?
    Expert: Geometry
    Marketing Manager: Just ignore it.

  • I only have 5 filters - Photoshop CS2 version 9

As strange as it seems I have only 5 filters - blur, noise, sharpen, stylize - none of the artistic, liquify, abstract, etc. I have Mac OSX.4.11 and Photoshop CS2 Version 9.
    Any ideas?
    Ellen

Are the other filters missing entirely, or just grayed out?
If the latter, you're probably in 16-bit mode. Convert to 8-bits.
If the former, it could well mean that you did something monumentally unwise like move the Photoshop icon out of its folder, or the Photoshop folder out of your root Applications folder, or created subfolders in any one of those folders in a misguided attempt to
    "organize" your applications.
Put everything back where it belongs.
The default installation location in CS3 must be strictly respected.
Give yourself 100 lashes with a wet noodle and remember never to do it again.

  • Mail vs. Gmail IMAP Junk Filtering?

The IMAP setup instructions for Gmail say that it is best to turn off any filtering in the Mail program, as the latter will attempt to download a lot of other stuff and create unwanted traffic.
However, I find that when I turn off junk filtering on Mail, the Gmail junk filter misses a lot of things the Mail junk filter seemed to catch before I went to Gmail IMAP. And, with Mail junk filtering turned off, I can't "train" it to catch junk mail that gets through the Gmail filter.
Is there any way to avoid the increased traffic I get from IMAP Gmail if I turn on my Mail junk filter?

Turn off junk mail filtering on GMail, don't use Mail and use the browser interface to GMail, get another email ISP, configure your own incoming rules for Mail to catch specific junk that GMail's filters miss.

  • Cannot load on 64-bit, Windows 7 (permissions)

    Configuration:
    Windows 7 Professional, 64-bit
Installed Adobe CS6 Beta Extended on different drive (not C:) drive.  In my case, I used the W: drive (an NTFS drive).
When opening either 32-bit or 64-bit versions of Photoshop, I get the following error UNLESS I "Run as Administrator" from the context menu:
"Could not open a scratch file because the file is locked, you do not have necessary access permissions, or another program is using the file.  Use the 'Properties' command in the Windows Explorer to unlock the file."
When I run as administrator, I can use Photoshop.  HOWEVER, I do not get all the filters in the Filter menu (some show up in the Filter Gallery, some not at all).
I believe the filter issue existed in PS5 as well.
If there's anything I'm not reading or seeing, please point it out -- I'd like to not worry about missing filters AND use the 64-bit version (unless anybody knows a reason why I shouldn't bother with the 64-bit mode).  Using the 32-bit is acceptable, but still have some filters missing in the Filter menu, probably becuase I have to run it as administrator.
    Thanks in advance!
    Additional Information:
    1) My account is an administrator account.
    2) I've tried holding Ctrl+Shift+Alt after launching and deleting the settings.

@Noel -- Changing Users to FULL did fix the issue for me, thanks.  Not sure why, though, since I'm always logged in as Admin.
    Actually, no, you're not.
Microsoft's UAC feature "demotes" you to non-privileged user status during normal operations.  You only are a member of the Administrators group when you escalate privileges (e.g., if you use "Run as Administrator" to start the application).
Permissions are complex enough as it is, but since the advent of UAC in Vista I am surprised anyone who hasn't had a lifetime of computer systems training can get Windows permissions to work for them.
A slightly more restrictive "fix" would be to add your specific username and grant it Full Control permissions, though the settings you applied will work for all users who log into to your system.
