Filters not showing up (drop shadows)

Hi,
I am using drop shadow filters in my flash file and when I
try and print it to flash paper, the drop shadows don't appear....
is there a way to correct this?

have you tried replacing it with the file essbase.bak_startup file, instead of the older essbase.sec file?
If you check your app folders you will still be able to see the cubes you had created its just that Essbase can't pull those up with the older .sec file.
The essbase.bak_startup file is always updated everytime the Essbase server is started up.
Be sure to take a backup of the file before starting up the server again.
The reason your essbase.sec and essbase.bak files are both corrupt is because when you first discovered that the essbase.sec file is corrupt it was when you started the server up.
What you need to keep in mind if the machine which holds the essbase server shuts down abruptly or crashes (which usually leads to the situation you are in) is to never start up the Essbase server right away, as you may have a corrupt essbase.sec file, and if you start up the server without taking a backup of the essbase.bak file you may risk corrupting the essbase.bak file as well.
This is because at start up the essbase.bak file gets replaced with the essbase.sec file.

TS3276 the images (attachments) are automatically resized (smaller) when I send them to a customer. My email screen does not show a drop down menu box where you can leave as actual size. Is there a setting elsewhere that can be set.

Any suggestions on problem I have. I receive images, say a file that is 3 mgs through email on Safari mail and when I try to resend it or forward it or any other larger file, when it sends the file is reduced by about 1/3. My screen does not show and drop down menu with a feature to keep actual size or reduce that is suggested when I looked up solutions to the problem. I can't find a setting anywhere in mail that I can change to make sure my files are kept at actual size. I figure a setting got changed -don't know how - but it happened about a month ago. Caused problems as I work in graphics can't send files to clients as they come out too small. Any suggestions on how to fix.

Muse: the latest version is not allowing the drop shadow effect to apply to text

The latest version of Muse is not allowing the drop shadow effect to apply to your text. It will apply to shapes but not the text. Anyone know what has happened or how to fix it.

Please use a System font for the text and not a webfont or websafe font. Also make sure that that the textframe fill is transparent.

Save for Web is not displaying white text, only showing the drop shadow of a vector.

I just updated Illustrator this morning and now having this issue. I have two logos on the artboard. Both are filled with white, both have the same small drop shadow. The both show up on the artboard, but when I try to save for web or export into a .jpeg the white doesn't fill in on one logo, but it does on the other.
Anyone have any ideas on a fix?

Do the white objects appear when in Overprint mode?

Filters not showing in browser

Hi, I followed the steps in the first video, including the blurring and drop shadows etc, I then saved the file as shown. When I opened the .html file in my browser none of the filters were on there. Any help would be great.

Thanks for the feedback. If you aren't using Chrome, you may not be able to see the filters as they aren't broadly supported on all desktop browsers yet. According to the post announcing the release, CSS filters are "only supported in Chrome, Safari, iOS6 and Blackberry 10 browsers." Video / Audio Filters not showing up in "Viewer" tab?

Hi, I recently re-installed Final Cut Express v4.0.1 after a hard drive crash. Now the video and audio filters do not show up on the Viewer Screen. They show up on the "Effects" menu tab (though video transitions do not). I've attempted uninstall / reinstall and deleting preferences but still no luck. Any suggestions? Thanks!

You may not have deleted the dodgy app fully as there are numerous hidden folders.

Data Source Type not showing in drop down

I am trying to utilize an XML data source that I defined in the physical layer for init block for repository variable. Anyways when I go to select the data source, XML does not show up as an available data source within the drop down, thus I can not select the xml data sources connection pool. Can anyone let me know what I am missing here. I searched config files and other things within the rpd to no avail. I know I am missing something simple, and if anyone knows please let me know.

Initialization blocks can only connect to database data sources as there must be written in SQL. The only exception for this are the Session Init Blocks which can also connect to an LDAP server or a Customer Authenticator. You will need to load your XML file in a database to be able to read it.

LMS 4.2.3 variable name not show in drop-down list

Hi all,
I am trying to use performance threshold to trigger a script whild device CPU or Memory high.
There is a default threshold template called "CPU Utilization" and "Memory Utilization".
After I choose either one, there should be one or two variable name in drop down list.
But I only see "Select MIB Variable" in the list.
I try to create a template with exact the same variable but still got nothing in the list.
The strange thing is that no all the default template has this problem.
I can see variable name under some template like "Device Availability" or "Port Availability"
And this is not browser problem because I try both IE and Firefox.
Any one how to solve this?

Now all my devices are connected in Layer View [Devices View], but User Tracking still not shows me informations from several switches about hosts. Its works like randomizer. Now 5 devices form User Tracking don't show me informations.[WS3550 2 devices and 2 WS-C2960S-48LPS-L]. In lists devices Acquisition Action i check acquisition for this 5 devices. After that acquisition complete, but User Tracking still empty ( all ports on this devices are active).
SNMP, Credentials all is good.
I try resolve this problem many days, but without results. Its semmes like a bug.
ANy propositions?

Adobe Premier Pro cs4: Maximum render quality not showing in drop down menu in Export screen

I have been trying to export a movie with settings i previously used but for some reason the Maximum render quality option that comes from the drop down menu next to video audio filter multiplexer etc is not showing up.. will someone plz tell me how to fix this...

Maximum render quality was introduced in an update for Premiere Pro CS4. Choose Help -> Check for Updates.

Filters not showing up values

Hi Gurus,
I am working on some reports in WAD.
I have characteristic "Region" which has 4 values like EAST,WEST,SOUTH,NORTH. This is a User Entry so I created a variable for this and it shows the values with check boxes beside it when you click on the variable entry screen input help. Once I execute the query the result is displayed. When I click on the Filter ICON on the Navigation Block for REGION it is not showing the Values for this region but just shows only 4 check boxes.
This Characteristic doesnot have master data. It is displaying the KEY values.
For the characteristics which Master Data it is showing the values both in Varaible selection screen and also in Filter Selections.
Please update me with a solution.

Nik Filters not showing up in 'Edit in' with LR 4.2

I'm running LR 4.2 and all the Nik filters (complete set) are updated yet I only see Color Efex 3.0 Complete and Edit in PS 6.0. All the filters are showing and operating in PS 6.0. I do see HDR Efex Pro 2.0 under export as expected. I'm guessing that I have something turned off in LR so if anyone has some insight to get the appropriate filters to show up under the 'Edit in' heading I would appreciate pointing me in the right direction.

Film Strip Filters not showing after opening Lr3

For some reason when I open up Lightroom, the film strip filters don't show up. I can choose a filter to show and that works, but it goes away again after closing and reopening Lightroom. I'm almost positive it didn't do this on my previous mac. Any idea if there is a setting I am missing that should be on or off to make them show up no matter what?
This first screen shows the filter area above the filmstrip after opening Lightroom. I even selected a filter preset that I created and nothing shows up.
This second screen shot shows the filter area after selecting Flags and then selecting Rated to get those filters to show up:
This causes a problem because if I am in the Develop module, I can't filter by my flags and ratings, so I have to manually turn the filters on again in the Library module.

I think I might have just figured this out... doh! I clicked the word "Filter:" which has the effect of showing all filters. That filter bar now seems to be there each time I open Lightroom.

Tax code does not show in Drop Down while Creating SC

Hi all,
While creating Shopping Cart Tax code drop down only display Taxable.
This Taxable we have made as default in the configuration. We have same configuration transported from our Development box to Quality box.
In Development box Requestor can see Taxable and non-taxable in the drop down while in Quality box only Taxable is showing in the drop down.
Has anybody came across this kind of prob

Viewer Filters not showing

When I select the filter Tab in the viewer of FCE HD I have Video filter and stereo 1 filters. When I turn the triangles nothing shows. The filters are can be selected from the menu bar and Browser. Is there some procedure that has to be taken to make the filters show up in the Effects panel of the viewer?

Filters have to be added first from the Browser>Effects or the menu to a clip that is in the Timeline.
Double clicking a clip in the Timeline that has already had a filter added will open that clip in the Viewer and you can adjust it.
Alternatively, double click a clip in the Timeline, it opens in the Viewer and put your filter in then.

Filters not showing up in Squirrelmail

I am running the mail server component on an Apple Server (10.5.7) and have been trying very hard to configure it so the users can create an "out of office" reply.
I have read through all of Apple's documentation, along with a variety of posts on this forum and can't seem to turn the corner from third base!
I believe all is working correctly, except when I log in using webmail, there is no "filters" option.

the version of avelsieve that I downloaded and untar'd is 1.96
I think I'm getting hung up somewhere at point 9 or beyond in this referenced post.

......some additional information here. in the directory /usr/sieve/ there is currently nothing in here. It's my understanding that the actual "scripts" go in here. If so, where do I find them, and what is the best method for importing them into this location.
