Filters not showing up in Squirrelmail

I am running the mail server component on an Apple Server (10.5.7) and have been trying very hard to configure it so the users can create an "out of office" reply.
I have read through all of Apple's documentation, along with a variety of posts on this forum and can't seem to turn the corner from third base!
I believe all is working correctly, except when I log in using webmail, there is no "filters" option.
the article that I followed closely is this one:
http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?threadID=131554
the version of avelsieve that I downloaded and untar'd is 1.96
I think I'm getting hung up somewhere at point 9 or beyond in this referenced post.
If anyone can shed some light and offer a little further direction, I would be most appreciative!
Thanks in advance.

......some additional information here. in the directory /usr/sieve/ there is currently nothing in here. It's my understanding that the actual "scripts" go in here. If so, where do I find them, and what is the best method for importing them into this location.
Thanks again!

  • Video / Audio Filters not showing up in "Viewer" tab?

Hi, I recently re-installed Final Cut Express v4.0.1 after a hard drive crash.  Now the video and audio filters do not show up on the Viewer Screen.  They show up on the "Effects" menu tab (though video transitions do not).  I've attempted uninstall / reinstall and deleting preferences but still no luck.  Any suggestions?  Thanks!

You may not have deleted the dodgy app fully as there are numerous hidden folders.
    Use this free app:-

Make sure only FCE is selected and click the Remove Selected button at the bottom.

  • Filters not showing up values

    Hi Gurus,
I am working on some reports in WAD.
I have characteristic "Region" which has 4 values like EAST,WEST,SOUTH,NORTH. This is a User Entry so I created a variable for this and it shows the values with check boxes beside it when you click on the variable entry screen input help. Once I execute the query the result is displayed. When I click on the Filter ICON on the Navigation Block for REGION it is not showing the Values for this region but just shows only 4 check boxes.
This Characteristic doesnot have master data. It is displaying the KEY values.
For the characteristics which Master Data it is showing the values both in Varaible selection screen and also in Filter Selections.
Please update me with a solution.
    Thanks,
    Raj

have you tried replacing it with the file essbase.bak_startup file, instead of the older essbase.sec file?
If you check your app folders you will still be able to see the cubes you had created its just that Essbase can't pull those up with the older .sec file.
The essbase.bak_startup file is always updated everytime the Essbase server is started up.
Be sure to take a backup of the file before starting up the server again.
The reason your essbase.sec and essbase.bak files are both corrupt is because when you first discovered that the essbase.sec file is corrupt it was when you started the server up.
What you need to keep in mind if the machine which holds the essbase server shuts down abruptly or crashes (which usually leads to the situation you are in) is to never start up the Essbase server right away, as you may have a corrupt essbase.sec file, and if you start up the server without taking a backup of the essbase.bak file you may risk corrupting the essbase.bak file as well.
This is because at start up the essbase.bak file gets replaced with the essbase.sec file.
let me know if this works.

  • Nik Filters not showing up in 'Edit in' with LR 4.2

I'm running LR 4.2 and all the Nik filters (complete set) are updated yet I only see Color Efex 3.0 Complete and Edit in PS 6.0.  All the filters are showing and operating in PS 6.0.  I do see HDR Efex Pro 2.0 under export as expected.  I'm guessing that I have something turned off in LR so if anyone has some insight to get the appropriate filters to show up under the 'Edit in' heading I would appreciate pointing me in the right direction.

  • Film Strip Filters not showing after opening Lr3

For some reason when I open up Lightroom, the film strip filters don't show up.  I can choose a filter to show and that works, but it goes away again after closing and reopening Lightroom.  I'm almost positive it didn't do this on my previous mac.  Any idea if there is a setting I am missing that should be on or off to make them show up no matter what?
This first screen shows the filter area above the filmstrip after opening Lightroom.  I even selected a filter preset that I created and nothing shows up.
This second screen shot shows the filter area after selecting Flags and then selecting Rated to get those filters to show up:
This causes a problem because if I am in the Develop module, I can't filter by my flags and ratings, so I have to manually turn the filters on again in the Library module.

I think I might have just figured this out... doh!  I clicked the word "Filter:" which has the effect of showing all filters.  That filter bar now seems to be there each time I open Lightroom.

  • Viewer Filters not showing

When I select the filter Tab in the viewer of FCE HD I have Video filter and stereo 1 filters. When I turn the triangles nothing shows. The filters are can be selected from the menu bar and Browser. Is there some procedure that has to be taken to make the filters show up in the Effects panel of the viewer?

    David
Filters have to be added first from the Browser>Effects or the menu to a clip that is in the Timeline.
Double clicking a clip in the Timeline that has already had a filter added will open that clip in the Viewer and you can adjust it.
Alternatively, double click a clip in the Timeline, it opens in the Viewer and put your filter in then.

  • Filters not showing in browser

Hi, I followed the steps in the first video, including the blurring and drop shadows etc, I then saved the file as shown. When I opened the .html file in my browser none of the filters were on there. Any help would be great.

Thanks for the feedback. If you aren't using Chrome, you may not be able to see the filters as they aren't broadly supported on all desktop browsers yet. According to the post announcing the release, CSS filters are "only supported in Chrome, Safari, iOS6 and Blackberry 10 browsers." You can see specific details of CSS Filter support across browsers via CanIUse.com

  • AGPM and security security filtering: gpos not showing up in uncontrolled tab

Why Does a gpo not show up in uncontrolled tab? The only thing that is removed is "authenticated users" from security filtering of said gpo. Once I add authenticated users back, bang! its back visible in uncontrolled tab.
Adding specific groups and removing authenticated users from security filtering is a standard practice to apply group policy. Can this not be used with AGPM?
    version 4.2

    Hi,
For AGPM questions, in order to get accurate help, it's recommended that we ask for advice in the following dedicated AGPM forum.

  • Preinstalled filters from CS5 not showing up in CS6 upgrade

I just installed CS6 upgrade from CS5 but the Nik and Topaz software filters are not showing up.  How do I get CS6 to recognize them without having to reinstall all of them again.

How do I get CS6 to recognize them without having to reinstall all of them again.
You don't. The behavior is as it always has been - Adobe apps never migrate legacy plug-ins and content to avoid compatibility issues. and you will probably need updated vertsions for CS6, anyway.

  • Filtered Photos not showing in Computer

I have updated the iOS 7 on 18th sept, since i have the problem. When im using photo filters its showing the filtered Photos on the phone but after  i connect my iPhone 5 to PC i cannot find that photos, insted i can see those photos as Normal Photos.
Please help me to fix this.

My photos were not showing up in the Apple TV menu either. You have to click on the music folder listed under computers. Then you need to choose photos and scroll down to your music folder. There you will find your photos. Kind of lame, but Apple accesses everything through iTunes.

  • Filters Do Not Show in Essbase 11.1.1.3?

    Hello Gurus -
I was wondering anyone can explain this behavior of essbase. i believe it has something to do with the sharde services but am not sure how and what...?
Our essbase is in shared services mode Version 11.1.1.3. When I try to create a filter on any one of the apps either through maxl or AAS....the message says that filter created succesfully. BUT I do not see that filter in that app? I was wondering if any one had the similar issue.
I have tried it couple of times with different apps through AAS and maxl script but the filters will just not show up???? although message is filter created successfully.
    Regards

    Hello -
It looks like it has more to do with the AAS version (11.x and 9.x)
In 7x EAS one will see the triggers and filters under the database after the outline.
In 11.x and 9.x that feature doesn't exixt although you can do a right click on teh database and then Edit either filter or trigger and then it will show up.

  • Filters, styles, effects not showing in pse12

I have a pse12 in win 8 pc. When I open editor, the filters, styles, effects are not showing up. Pls help. Thanks.

Hi, you are posting in the wrong forum, and will do better asking in the Elements forum
    http://forums.adobe.com/community/photoshop_elements
To be clear, are you saying you can see the menue bar, and that you are not seeing what you'd expect to see under Filters?
Or can you not see the menu bar and/or the toolbar and other panels?  In Photoshop you can toggle through three different screen modes with the f key, and turn panels off and on with the Tab key.
If that didn't help go ask in the Elements forum, but give a lot more information.

  • Not show window(anti-aliasing X2, anisotropic filtering X2)

    Hi.
If i set video card anti-aliasing X2, anisotropic filtering X2 than do not show JFrame.
    Please help me.

    http://www.fifabattle.net/zeroboard/data/fbnnewqna/java.jpg

I ran into a related problem when I created my own View class for a custom JTextComponent. In the built-in View classes, antialiasing is applied via package-private methods of javax.swing.text.Utilities, which in turn call methods of the non-public SwingUtilities2 class. There is no way short of reflection hacks to tap into the automatic AA mechanism from a third-party View. And just to give the nipple an extra twist, they also moved SwingUtilities2 to a different package in JDK 1.6, making it all but impossible to achieve reasonably consistent behavior under both Java 5 and Java 6. I still can't help wondering if they implemented the AA mechanism the way they did just to piss me off.

  • When filtering by keyword and using "Edit In" with Photoshop, edited file does not show up in list

When I do an "edit in" using CS5 and save it, the edited file does not show up in my LR4 preview window.
Message title was edited by: Brett N

There are two distinct modes by which Edit In... may first open an image into PS: as a fully pre-converted rendered file; or as an on-the-fly converted image in memory.
(When LR opens a PS-edited image a second time into PS, using "Edit Original", the former option is always used.)
In the latter case, it is ACR which does this on-the-fly conversion, working from the original image (as imported into LR) plus your subsequent LR adjustment metadata. This means ACR compatibility with LR becomes an issue - as it is not, with the pre-rendered file option.
There is a useful clue to which mode is being used:
the title of the PS document window, in the case of the on-the-fly conversion, still shows the name of the Raw file (or whatever) that you started with in LR... no file has been saved as yet, to say any different. You can Save or Save as, wherever and under whatever name, and from now on LR will look there for your edited image. Or if you close unsaved, LR has no edited image to show at all.
the title of the PS document window in the pre-rendered case, is the name of a file already saved on disk and already showing in LR. If you then saved this elsewhere, you would merely make a duplicate which LR cannot know about - and if this duplicate is the one which contains your PS work, LR will accordingly not show that. It is busy showing the content of the specific file that was passed to PS.
So, if inside CS5 your document is called something like IMG23334.dng - you can save it wherever you like. If inside CS5 your document is called something like IMG23334-edit.tif - you will have to save your changes back to that exact same file, in order for them to be seen in LR.
