Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn PS4 Pre-Orders

With the release of Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn on the PS4 next week, I know everyone is wondering about the status of the pre-order bonus. Customers that pre-order this game will receive early access, a Cait Doll Sith companion and a Moogle Cap to enhance your in-game experience (early access and DLC unlock token redeemable starting April 11, 2014).
The codes to access this bonus content and the early access began being sent to customers on 4/8/14, and all customers that pre-ordered prior to 4/11/14 should have their codes. Please note that you will only be sent one code which will contain both the early access and the in-game items.
In order to ensure you are able to participate in the full early access, you will want to have your pre-order placed by 4/10/14.
Once you receive your code, you will be able to register it through the PlayStation Store and then enjoy your early access between 4/11/14 and 4/13/14. Once the game is officially released on 4/14/14, you will then be able to access your in-game bonus items.
If you pre-ordered prior to 4/11/14 and have not received your code, please contact me through private message or send a message to Gaming-BBY. Be sure to include the items lised below in your message. Please do not contact both inboxes or send multiple messages as that will only increase the amount of time it will take for us to look into your specific pre-order.

    Admittedly, we’re not certain if this title is sold out or not. Considering how limited Collector’s Editions can be, we’re often careful around having items turned on/off for pre-order so we can ensure everyone who pre-orders receives a copy.
    I’ve seen BestBuy.com utilize the “Coming Soon” verbiage, as well as “Sold Out” when items are no longer available. I do apologize, as I can see how that could be confusing. However, keep an eye here for any changes, as it's possible we may re-list it for pre-order!

    Ever since September 3rd or 4th, whenever Square Enix took down their own servers for maintenance, there has been excruciating lag throughout the game. It is described as a constant 3-5 second delay causing rubberbands and basically hindering the game unplayable. Other ISP users in my area, such as Cox Communications are not experiencing these problems. There has been multiple posts about this on various websites. I wanted to bring it to the Verizon website to possibly gain some attention. Overall I am very happy with Verizon FiOS. Please help.

    Here is some supporting date for this users complaint.  I too am having the issue and spent a half hour or more with online tech support today with no comments other than "run this speed test" and "reboot your router".
    The problem is obviously not directly on verizon's hardware, but it is someplace in between the Square-Enix servers and the Northern Va route to them. 
    There are probably 50-100 users alone actively complaining on the Square-Enix forums about issue in the northern va area with FiOS and this game, I'm going to assume the previous users posts highlight them.
    The issue is now also coming up on reddit, not just NoVA users.  However, the commonality are the TINET.NET routers on hops 8 and 9 in my example.
    Verizon, please do anything you can to help resolve.  The game provider is so overwhelmed with game launch issues, we're not getting much assistance otherwise.

    I'm in Boston. My internet plan is FiOS 50/25. Ever since December 24th, whenever Square Enix took down their own servers for maintenance, there has been excruciating lag throughout the game. It is described as a constant 3-5 second delay causing rubberbands and basically hindering the game unplayable. It is more terrible in the night. Other ISP users in my area, such as Comcast are not experiencing these problems. I heard about it could be P2P throttling issues. Please help.

    DRay, Yeah im getting the same thing, I have been battling with the same thing now for two weeks.  I have made multiple calls to Verizon with little successful.
    I have had my support ticket closed on me and I have been told the usual speil (give it time it will fix itself) and Verizon has no responsabiliy.beyond the 5th hop.
    Sadly there is no relief.
    I had a tech out here today who was given a service order to replace the ONT because the Level 2 network engineer didn't want to deal with the issue.
    Square will not help you and will point back to your ISP (Verizon), Verizon will not help you with the issue and point towards Square (level 3 specifically in this case.
    I welcome anyone with Verizon who actually wants to make a difference to a customer to reach out and work with me to get a ticket logged with your peering network Level 3 to resolve this issue but im not holding my breath.
    Your best bet is to find someone elses wifi to jump onto when you're playing FF14.
    If you really want to keep using FIOS, you will need to grab a service like WTFast which will allow you to tunnel your traffic via their service around the poor (or overloaded) switch at level 3.
    Oh and don't even bother trying to call level 3, they will not help you

    Can anyone help me out here keep getting this problem can't get on the Game client on the PS3, keeps saying cannot connect to server. Everyone else i know on differents ISP's don't seem to have this problem I'm currently on BT Infinity 2 please help.

    then it is down to the game manufacturer to contact BT and other ISP's and get it removed from any list this is a customer to customer self help forum posts made her do not go directly to BT you asked how to over come the problem and have been given the simplest answer

  • Running Final Fantasy XIV on Boot Camp

    Hello everyone,
    I bought the MacBook Pro 13" from late 2013, and I wanted to play on Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn on this occasionally. So, I installed Windows 7 thanks to Boot Camp, but when I start the game, after 5 minutes my Mac is very hot, and the ventilators are making a lot of noise, I'm so afraid that the computer crash or burn really, even if I putted the worst resolution for the game, so I leave the game very quickly.
    Do I have to update anything? Maybe Boot Camp? Or something else?

    I think your MBP 13 is marginal for gaming video performance. It is working very hard to keep up with the games demands. There are not any upgrades for the video hardware. A 15" MBP has a discrete video card available the NVIDIA GeForce GT 750M which would perform well.

  • MSI GX740 compatibility problems with Final Fantasy XIV

    Hi all, I've bought the GX740 5 days ago and I've tried the Final Fantasy XIV benchmark and the open beta game......both of them never started to work....an error message occured that say "Final Fantasy XIV stopped to work" and it never log in .
    I've upgraded the audio and video card.....not the bios .
    The game and the benchmark give me the same problems .
    What can I do ?
    Do you know about any incompatibility problem between FFXIV and th GX740 ?

    yes I've read about this from other people but the ffxiv open beta program must run well, i've tried it on another computer and it work......it's not working on my GX740

    Oh no! We're so sorry about the confusion here. All Trade In quotes are subject to change at any time. Currently that particular phone is valued at $171.00, and the value is increased to $200.00 if you're participating in the special trade in offer for the iPhone 6 and 6 . It's possible that the value changed during your pre-order interaction, which is what prompted you to re-enter all your info.

  • Final Fantasy X/X-2 for PS4

    Hi, I have some questions.
    Will Best Buy offer the Final Fantasy X/X-2 Remaster for the PS4? If so will there be an option to get the preorder bonuses with it?
    Also, will Best Buy be selling the guidebooks for Bloodborne and Witcher 3 specifically? 
    There are no listings I could find online for any of these items but they are offered through other vendors. Thanks in advanced.

    I knew I was forgetting something in my last post... 
    Since we don't seem to have it available for pre-order yet, we'd be unable to say if a bonus would be offered for the game. What I can say is that there are a few different factors we must take into consideration when offering a bonus for specific purchases, and oftentimes that decision includes the providing vendor or manufacturer. It's certainly a possibility though!

    The Destiny: The Taken King PlayStation 4 console looks pretty awesome and I can understand wanting to save a bit of money on a console. Sadly, it seems that the Movers Coupon excludes gaming consoles, so you wouldn't be able to utilize this coupon on this item, pre-order or otherwise.   • Headphones+Final Fantasy XIV sounds like a Cicada

    This issue only happends when the headphones are turned on. When they are turned off the sound is just fine. Note this is a headphone+mic combo. Headphones are Sennheiser PC350. I only have this problme with this game.
