Final Release Date In PO

Hi
We are trying to find out the final release date for a Purachse Order. In the table CDHDR (using TCode ME29N) we are able to find out the details of individual releases but what we want to find out is the date of final release.
Can anyone suggest how we can do this ? Is there any standard FM available ?

use transaction me23n and select versions and click on display changes. it will show the release date.

Since it is an Early Adopters edition (hence the APEX 4.2EA notation) I would think there are still some bugs and such to work out.. They WANT TO HEAR what you think of this version to make sure the RELEASED version meets the needs we have...

Release date of PO: Is table EREV the right place to look into?

Dear Experts,
I need to determine the final release date of POs. I was going through the threads on this topic and most of the cases I found people have suggested on table CDPOS and CDHDR.
However I found one more table EREV where the release dates are recorded. Will it be the correct approach to refer to this table for determining the release date? Since I haven't worked in MM before I am not sure whether this will be right option. Request your advice..

ME5A T code Capturing wrong PR Release Date

Dear All
I am an enduser, we have a KPI for our Procurement team to capture the Avg PR to PO process time.
To do so we mainly require PR final Release date & correponding PO Release date.
we are using Tcode Me5a to get this details, But it capture wrong PR final release date.
we need to made a vlook with PR dates obtained from table AJ_log_rel.
Do we have any other standard report in SAP which capture PR Rel date & corresponding PO creation or release date.

ME5A it wont show the pr release date.
If you want to see the exact pr release date ME53N item changes you can get the exact release dtae.
or else ask your abaper to develop a report. To get this pr release date ask him to pass the pr no in those table CDHDR & CDPOS.

What field in EKKO determine the final release dateof PO

Final release date is not stored in EKKO it store in CDHDR table you can chaeck CDHDR-UDATE field for that.

Custom field update in Purchase Requisition Final Release

Hi,
We have PR release strategy at Item level.
In PR table EBAN include I have added new field as ZZREL_DT (for final release date), This Field I want to update when final release will get triggred for the PR item.
For updating this custom field I have try with Enhancement 'M06B0002' but system is not updating the value in new field , and as in BADI 'ME_REQ_POSTED', the IM_EBAN is an importing structure ,system is not allowing to change the value if we implement this BADI.
Is there any user exit or BADI, to update this custom field, I want to update the system date when user releasing the PR item with ME54N or ME55 transaction.

Try with create new tab in PR item level, add field in custom tab example Final release Tab.
Try to fetch data from EBAN table when final release happened ( based on status ) the date will update in this table. I hope this is helpful.

Date of Final Release Indicator for PO Release

Is there a table in SAP that provides the date the PO was approved for Final Release? I know that through ME23N you can get this information in the Environment and Header Changes area, but we would like to add this information to a report and are having trouble locating where SAP is storing the data.

Pass into CDPOS table:
OBJECTCLAS = u201CEINKBELEGu201D , OBJECTID = PO Number (EBELN), T. Code = u201CME28 or equal to ME29Nu201D and Get all change document no. (CHANGENR)
TABNAME = u201CEKKOu201D, u201CField Name= FRGKE, Old Value = u201C0u201D and New value = u201C1u201D in to CDPOS and get latest change document number (CHANGENR).
Then pass CHANGENR into Change document No (CDHDR- CHANGENR), OBJECTCLAS = u201CEINKBELEGu201D,
U get who has released and date also.

Change in Expected Delivery date (EDD) field in the PO after final release

Hello Experts,
There is a business requirement, whereby after PO final release is completed & when the PO is released for further processing, no further changes should be possible, except for the expected delivery date (EDD) field in the Delivery schedule tab of the PO Item details. Other than this, no changes should be possible in the PO, neither qty, nor price, not even the simple PO text should be allowed to get changed. In other words no field should be allowed to change.
Ideally, except the EDD field, other all fields should be in grey mode, or atleast changes in any of the PO fields (except EDD) should not be allowed to get saved after the PO is final released.
Please let me know if SAP provides any such facility, whereby you can selectively choose certain fields (like EDD field) on which Release Strategy should not be applied & changes should be allowed in these fields even after PO final release.

and assing the User parameter EFB in user id of the user using SU3 transction

Material Mangement - Purchasing - Authorization Management - Define Functional Authorization for Buyers
Now, in SU3 trxn ,Give the User Parameter EFB in the user master Parameters Tab and give the parameter value.
create the fields selction which you want use here in PO field seleciton config.

The Release dates of the PO are unfortunately not stored in SAP but as stated above you can check the change documents in the follwowing manner:
Go to CDPOS table with Objectid = <PO Number> and OBJSCTCLASS = EINKBELEG and FNAME = FRGKE and NEW_VALUE = <Final release code> and get the CHANGENR from CDPOS. Then go CDHDR with the CHANGENR and get the update date..

Release Date for Albums Year, MONTH DAY

Why can't I enter the release date for albums (Year month and day)?   Itunes has a field for year but that's it.    I would have loved to be at the meeting where it was discussed.
"Year, month and day? why the heck would any want that?"
"Well a lot of us want to see our albums in chronological order and you can't do that with just the year, many albums come out every year"
"Blah Blah Blah, music is just to dance to, no one cares about dates, besides it would four extra digit fields in each entry"
But seriously, I would think that Itunes would aspire to be THE program for music lovers.
Instead of being able to just enter the release dates I have had to come up with my own work around. I put a the release date in the format yyyymmdd in fromt of each title and then sort by titles.
Now all of my Beatle albums finally show up in chronological order by release date.   But why should I have to massage the data like this.   I can't imagine what goes on at Itunes planning sessions. I'm very unhappy about the loss of cover flow but that's another story.

This is so fundamental. Every album has a release date and it's part of the data that is always associated with that album.   Why did Apple look at the data available for an album and consciously decide to truncate it?
What kind of music lover isn't aware of when albums are released? I just don't get it.
I like having the date yyyymmdd in front of each album.   It isn't pretty but it means the albums are chronological.   If you want, you could just put this in the sort field and leave the regular album title in the regular field.   Then the names would be right and they would sort correctly.   But again. Why should we have to do all that?
Apple is busy constantly changing where the controls are on I tunes rather than fixing something simple and important like this.
Today I wanted to load some songs onto my ipod touch and it took me 10 minutes to figure out how to sync because the last itunes update got rid of the side bar.
How are you supposed to get comfortable using a product when they keep moving the controls around?   Just quit apple.   leave the controls where they are. Add new controls if needed but stop moving them. I know I'm ranting now but I am honestly angry and frustrated,

Why can I no longer sort my albums by release date in recent iTunes?

In the older versions of itunes I used to be able to create playlists for each of the artists in my music collection and they would be listed in chronological order ie: by the release date, so that the most recent album would appear at the top, this option is no longer available to me, why? Also why was the cover flow feature removed? My music collection is quite large, close to 4 thousand albums and I want to be able to organise itunes in the same way that I organise my CD collection, alphabetically and chronologically and ideally with the option to organise artists by surname not by first name, in a logical manner. So I guess my question is, can it be configured to work in a more logical and common sense way as it used to be?

I still can't see it. I had two other people try to look it up and they can't see it as well. This has been tried in WIndows 7 and Mac OSX. Both with fully updated iTunes applications. I'm also worried about the other keywords associated with my podcast not bringing it up either. Searching FFXIV only brings up the first two podcasts for me. Searching Final Fantasy XIV brings up a ton of podcasts, but ours isn't listed. Here's a screenshot of what I'm seeing when I search for FFXIV.
