Final year project using labview, what project i can apply?

i'm goin to be do a final year project, n i thinkin to use labview do it.! but i dun hav idea tht is suit...coz it can't use to the station..
anyone can give me some idea??thanks

planning on learning LabVIEW and graphical programming for your design

What is the largest MMC and SD card that the Acer C710 can read from and write to when inserted into the built-in 2-in-1 card reader? What file formats can be used with aforementioned MMC and SD cards?i.e. FAT, FAT 32, exFAT, etc.

Thank you for you help. I forgot to mention what is the highest class of SD card it can use at top speed, and are there any classes that will simply not work? An example answer would be, the highest speed that it can operate at clase 6, with class 8 being the highest class compatible; class 10 will not work. Also note, there are new cards faster than class 10. I have seen symbols like U1 and U3. I don't expect a discount computer to run an SD card faster than class 10, but it is important to know if U1 and U3 at least work.

I'm doing project which requires pneumatic actuator. Available actuator in our college is REXROTH BOSCH pnuematic actuator. which requires 24V and 500mA drive. Also it has to be timing controlled (I mean it should be ON & OFF, software controlled)
I have attached snap of my LabVIEW block diagram. Here, comparator output has to drive Pneumatic actuator. Also we have NI 9485, 8 channel Solid State Relay (SSR), is it possible to use it in my project?

How to set plant to all WBS when creating Project using Copy Standard Project (CJ20N)

I have created standard project with several WBS. Now I want t o create operative project in CJ20N by copying standard project. While copying I want that the system allows me to define the plant for which the project is created and it gets automatically copied to project defination and all WBS elements. Since I have around 30 plants, I havent maintained any default plant in Standard project. How I can achive this requirement to specify the plant when creating project so that it is automatically copied to all WBS.

Hi Murad,
I can see three viable options over here. If you are using the same plant across the project structure (on all the WBS elements) you can then go with the suggestion Saurabh suggested (Defaulting it in the project profile itself). In addition to writing a substitution rule at the PD level, you can also go ahead with the option of mass change in case you have created a project(by copying from an operative project already with some default plant.)? Is something stopping you from carrying out mass change? Please let me know.

How to use Labview drivers for USB-CAN Adapter

I just recently started working with CAN and I have a PCAN-USB adapter. I'm trying to create a programme for monitoring a series of CAN based devices and I've found Labview drivers at the link below. However, I'm not really sure how to start. I have the specs for the device but I don't know how to proceed.
Should I create messages and channels and a data base in MAX first? If anyone has programmed with this dongle before please give me a guide how you went about it.

I have not used this specific CAN adapter, but I have used other CAN adapters from both NI and other companies. The CAN database in MAX is useful only if you are using an NI CAN device. For all other CAN devices you need to use the format that the library uses; most likely that will be raw CAN frames.
If you do want to use the NI-CAN interface on top of the PCAN library, you can use NI-CAN virtual channels 255 and 256. These are internally connected, so that anything you send on one is received on the other. This makes it possible to do translation between raw frames and channels defined in a database, by opening one interface for frames and the other for channels. You read raw frames from the real device and send them to CAN255, then read them on CAN256; for writing, you do the opposite. However, this still requires understanding how to read and write raw frames on the underlying device, so I'd start there.

Terminal use and what it does, can I sort?

I just opened terminal for the first time and was adding this command
sudo /System/Library/StartupItems/CiscoVPN/CiscoVPN restart
then I managed to duplicate the sentence and a warning came next with options to put in my password or a Ctr abort. command, neither of which I managed to do as the page froze, I then proceeded to close it, again I got a warning asking me did I want to do this. I did as I did not give it my password I thought it would just revert back to how it was, but when I open terminal now the text that was at the top of the page is no longer there, it was something about log in.
i am now worried I have done something really bad, can anybody help me please?

You need to reboot to get your shell back.
It doesn't sound like you did any lasting damage, but you easily could have. Keep out of the shell unless you know what you're doing. Running "sudo" commands is not the right way to learn.

I updated my iPod touch (4th generation) for the first time in a while, was reading through the Terms of Service for iOS, and noticed that it mentioned that fees could apply in a few different areas. Don't know if this is what you're searching for, and I don't know if there is such a function in LV 8.6, but I'm using LV 2010 and under DAQmx Pallete, you go to "Advanced Task Options", there is a function "Configure Output Buffer", in which you can configure the buffer size you want.

Using a java project in a web which is part of a ear

i have an ear (jspkeepEAR) that includes a web project (jspkeep). The web project uses a java project (common).
I don't want the EAR to know about the common, so i've added the common as a j2ee module to the web project.
when publishing, i can see under

the problem is, when i'm surfing to a servlet in the web, i get NoClassDefFoundError for classes in the common.
I've also noticed that if i publish the web project by itself (and not as part of the ear), it works fine.
any idea?

It appears that WLS only supports mapping a directory to a jar in APP-INF/lib/
C\:/runtime-New_configuration/Common/bin = APP-INF/lib/Common.jar
but NOT to a jar in WEB-INF/lib.
Engineering will look into it sometime to fix it.
Workaround Suggested:
As a workaround, you can include the Java/Utility project as part of the EAR and set as dependent J2EE module to the Web project.

The EDK java doc said I could use RemoteSessionFactory.getExplicitLoginContext to access Collaboration Server API but I am getting the following error:

Any idea why? I am using EDK 5.2.0

EMG based DC motor control using labview

I have a project where i need to use my EMG data to control DC motor
using labview.I've already got the EMG signal by using ADinstrument and
import the signal to labview. The problem is i don't know how to connect
the signal with DC motor. This motor will start to move when it detect
the signal exceed certain value and stop when it less that value. I'm
still new with labview and i'm using labview 8.0. Can someone help
