Finalcut wont load completely, compressor support loading

I have looked at the other forum chats about this, but no luck.
Problem:
finalcut prox does not load all my projects correctley and has the start-up apple logo that says "Compressor Support loading....."
things I have tried:
1. deleting com.apple.finalcut plist. thingy
2. tried start up without my ext HD
3. put in trash FC and re-downloaded FC from app store.
still happens.

If you have FxFactory installed, remove the corresponding plug-in. Seems this helped here.

High-traffic websites do not load completely

Websites such as facebook, wikipedia and others do not load completely. They load most of the website and hang, leaving a perpetually-rotating green "loading" icon at the top of the tab. It will usually leave out a couple images after having loaded the text. I've adjusted the firefox settings so that it doesn't block pictures coming from outside sources, but it hasn't fully remedied the situation. The other issue is that it doesn't happen every time. I'll be browsing on facebook or wikipedia and every third link I click (thereabouts) the website hangs without fully loading. I've already adjusted firefox so that it no longer automatically uses any proxies, but while that seemed to reduce the frequency with which this problem presented itself, it still happens 1/3 of the time rather than 3/4 of the time.
A parallel problem (while I'm unsure as to whether or not it is related) is that youtube will load the whole page but the video. This also does not happen every time, but it will register as having completed loading the page (there is no green circle icon at the top of the tab), but no video will appear and no light grey buffer bar will load at the bottom of the video screen. I don't have any flash blockers or anything of the sort.
I've scanned my computer repeatedly for malware using malwarebytes and avast with very little in the way of results (usually nothing or one or two files of malware, no trojans or viruses).
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Boot the computer in Windows Safe Mode with network support (press F8 on the boot screen) as a test to see if that helps in case some security software is causing problems.

Loading compressor support

Hi....after trying to open Final Cut Pro X my computer gets stuck on "loading compressor support".....
How do I fix this?

You should be able to go into the App Store application on your Mac and click on the Purchases selection at the top. The next window to open up should tell you what you have bought and if it is installed yet. If it says Install, you still need to install it. It can take a while to download. If you interrupt the download, and start it again later, it will resume where it left off earlier. When the download has completed, your system will automatically install the app for you. When it is installed, you will be able to go to your applications folder on your docking bar and open it and launch Compressor. It will run as a stand alone application or from within Final Cut Pro X. If it runs okay as a stand alone app, then exit out of it. Afterwards, you should be able to now run it from within Final Cut Pro X.

Could not load the Multiprocessor Support module because it wont work with

Here is a strange error message, there are actually 2.
But they arent making PSE 8 unusable, just very annoying.
Here is the first one,,,,,,,,,
"Could not load the Multiprocessor Support module because it wont work with this version of photoshop."
When I open PSE 8, on my new Intel Mac, I get this message and nobody seems to know what the problem is.
My new Mac has 2 processors? Could that be what the message is saying?
But when I click the error message away, PSE 8 works fine.
There is another one too,
"Could not load the FastCore Routines module because it doest not work with this version of photoshop."
I just click it away and no problem, just a pita.
So if they dont effect it, I shouldnt worry, but my classmates are concerned.
Do you here have any idea what it is, and how to get rid of it?
There is info on the web about it, but no solutions.

This is interessting, as does my new Mac have 2 processors or 2 cores? I havent come across how this works yet, nor how to find it on my Mac.

I have one processor with 2 cores.
And the equivalent of the Task Manager is the Activity Monitor, where I see only one processor.
You sure explained this well! I now think we can find the problem, though its not effecting either my PS or PSE, its just an annoying message that I have to click away.

Is what Adobe tells us, this is for Windows, but it could apply to Macs?
I have tons of third party plug ins, and this problem is within the last month, and I didnt see the error messages before. Thats confusing, as I would have thought it would have shown up right from the start.
I just moved some of my plug ins, lets see if this changes anything, nope, but only one message appeared this time.
This will be fun to see what the real answer is! As I find out more, I will add it here.

FCP X is freezing and closing--the problem appears to be "loading compressor support." I have Compressor 4 and have never encountered this problem until today. Any fixes?

Well, after restarting and also trashing layouts for the tenth time, it seems to be working. Very frustrating evening spent on this. Hope you've had similiar success... Although, a more meaningful and longterm resolution to this would be great! Anyone?

FCP X crashes loading compressor support

FCP X crashes when trying to load compressor support. It refuses to launch no matter what. Somewhat of a crisis since I am a professional editor for 20 years and on deadline with a couple of TV commercials. Ideas? Thanks.

Windows 7 and updated firefox window do not load completely . the banner may load or it times out. If I leave it sit for a while it may finish loading. New computer.. cannot figure it out.

Aol Mail Not Loading Completely

I just recently noticed all my mail on my aol does not load.
all my accounts load completely my .mac,gmail etc..
just the 1st 10 emails load and that's it, it doesn't give me the option to load 25 or 50 more like it did before. it was fine before it would load all i want. now it's change.
i tryed deleting the account from my phone and setting it up again but nothing.

Errrr I would give up AOL, if I were you.
When people send me FWDs or a long chain-list type of FWD, the AOL stuff comes out as MIME and will not display on the iPhone.
And I don't think Apple will fix that, since they don't really talk about full support for AOL, just Yahoo and Gmail -
so I would make the switch, if I were you.

When opening a new tab, Firefox often freezes for a few seconds until the page has loaded completely.

When I open a new tab, the tab must load completely before Firefox will respond at all. I cannot do anything in Firefox; Windows and the rest of my programs that are running are unaffected. This happens randomly, but it is more common on certain websites. How do I fix this?

Try turning of the Multi-threaded server option (i.e. comment out "mts" references in the init[SID].ora file). This appears to be an MTS-related bug.
