Finally able to log in but to no use

Finally got around the log-in problem by copying and pasting id, password from text edit but now that I'm in I got nothing. Unable to download or purchase and as a matter of fact I'm not even able to sign-out. Clicking on anything gets me the new beachball (black and white spinning thing) but nothing ever moves forward. Tried the cache deleting thing thats worked for some but this is really irritating.

It's probably that your Keychain password is not the same as your login password. If you configured your computer to log you in automatically, you may not have used your login password in so long you forgot it.
There is no way to retrieve the "login" Keychain password, but you can reset the Keychain from the Preferences menu: select it in the Keychain Access menu and select "Reset My Default Keychain". This will create a new, empty Keychain but the old one will be saved should you ever remember its password.
The result of this is that you will have to supply passwords for everything that requires it, since without your Keychain they will no longer automatically fill themselves. However, once you supply them and store them in your new Keychain, they will be remembered.

Hello, after months of trying i finally got my self a product recovery CD

Ok i acually got a hold of there email address and i said it had no data on it. They hadn't even so much sent me a reply since then, until now. I got an Toshiba Shop order confirmation email. On it says;

It says the Reference ID is 2010033376-R where as before it was just 2010033376. Under items ordered it says that that i have ordered a recovery CD but the cost is 0.00 GBP. It also says that the order date was the 13.8.2009 which is today.
My point is, is this there reponse? why haven't they asked me to send it back or sent me an email with instructions? because so far they have completely blanked me and i have no idea what to do. Do i send them a letter? do i just send the thing back to them without any instructions?
*EDIT* LOL i looked in my junk emails and found an email from them there, they sent me a free copy WOOT its all coming up good :D

Logged in but can't use admin

ok. Just got this computer couple days ago. It is an HP Pavilion Smart touch 23" with windows 8.1 (64 bit) I downloaded origins and a free trial game from it (battlefield 3). I can't play the game because it requires a plug in to be installed. But the plug in won't install because only the administrator is allowed to install it and use it. But I AM the admin of the computer. I am logged in and everything. But it says I am NOT the admin. So.... I am sure this will create other problems in the near and distant future in my use of this product. So.... How do I remind my computer that I am the admin and I DO have the authority to use my computer and install programs and make changes to etc? TIA for your assistance

I am able to log in to Yahoo mail but it keeps asking me for my password every 2 or 3 mins

I have Mac. Since I have updated to firefox 13.0.1 I have trouble with my yahoo mail. I am able to log in but it keeps asking me to type my password every 2 mins. the exact line is this below.
" Sorry, your session has expired. To protect your account, you need to confirm your password periodically." I have contacted to Yahoo help but they said the firefox update problem. Would you know how to fix this problem? Thank you

There is a very long thread here in the forum on this problem.
One possible cause, at least on Windows, is your proxy settings. If you check this deeply buried dialog, you may be able to correct it:
Firefox > Preferences > Advanced > Network
Click the "Settings" button and choose either "No Proxy" or "Use System Settings" option, and OK the change. See whether that helps.

LDAP user no longer able to log in

We have CQ 5.3 set up using LDAP authentication. We have one user who has been using CQ with her AD Userid/password for over a year with no issues, but she came in one day and now it's saying her user id and password don't match.
We've tried on multiple different instances of CQ and she gets the same message every time. She is able to log into other applicaitons that use LDAP for authentication just fine. We have tried resting CQ to see if that resolves the issue and it hasn't. I originally thought it was some sort of issue with her LDAP account, but because she can log into other apps, I'm wondering if not? Or maybe there WAS an issue with her account, but it was resolved (she thought maybe her account was locked, so she ran an unlock procedure), but CQ just hasn't caught up to that fact? This started happening a week ago.

Have you tried running a manual LDAP User sync for the single user (http://localhost:4502/crx/config/ldap.jsp)? Since the user can login to other systems via LDAP, the problem is most likely with their account in CQ. Maybe try deleting their account in CQ and re-creating/re-sync via LDAP User sync.

This is entirely a carrier issue. If your carrier (airtel) doesn't provide service outside of Mumbia, this has nothing to do with your iPhone.

If your phone is in recovery mode, you've already lost ALL of the data on the phone. Your only choice now is to restore it from your most recent backup. You follow this by syncing your content back to your phone. Any data, on your phone, not backed up or in supported applications on your computer, is gone. iTunes content you can re-download for free.

Then try a Safe Boot, (holding Shift key down at bootup), run Disk Utility in Applications>Utilities, then highlight your drive, click on Repair Permissions, reboot when it completes.
(Safe boot may stay on the gray radian for a long time, let it go, it's trying to repair the Hard Drive.)

Your music will only be where you put it.
It has always been very basic to always maintain a backup cop of your computer.
Certainly you did not have our computer serviced without making sure your backup copy was up to date.

So basically, what's happening is that I'm able to log into my hotmail account and see the inbox and all, but I can't click on my emails to read them. It's really frustrating cos I've tried using Firefox and another computer, but neither works! Please help me I'm kind of desperate!

I take it you are not the administrator for the site? If so, you would be given the option to unlock the page (it will be near the top of the screen in a yellow box).
Do you have access to the site outside of Contribute. If you can't unlock it via the administrative function mentioned above, you need to go into the site using Windows Explorer (if it's a local development site) or an FTP client and find a file with the same name as the page but with a .lck extension and delete it. That will unlock the page.
