Well I have to say that I am impressed with 3, today when I checked my SW updater on the phone it was there the new firmware update.
My phone is locked to the 3 network.
I have the custom version
11.0.021.235.07
maybe this is a customised version for branded 3 phones. Custom Version date (16-07-2009) so it just came out and type RM-505 (whatever this is)
Just thought to share with you guys which probably are in the same as me and were waiting for this update.
The phone behaves a lot better now, I am even happier with my N97 now.

PS: I had no issues whatsoever (no need to restored anything all my stuff was there after the upgrade) installing the firmware took about 10-15min (needs to download about 150MB) and it needs to be done via the PC.

same boat here, i was very very impressed with this, the only thing that really changed for me was the web browser changed its home page, i had the usual problem of the backlight not lighting up when unlocking the handset and that was it. now thats fixed im uber happy

Final Cut Express was discontinued 3 years ago (June 2011). It was replaced by Final Cut Pro X.
FCE is no longer supported by Apple. That does not mean it won't run on Lion, Mt. Lion, Mavericks or Yosemite, however with each successive upgrade to OS X it becomes less & less likely that FCE will be installable or even run properly after being installed, because it is so much older than the current versions of OS X. That said, the FCE 4.0.1 update is still available through Software Update provided you already have FCE 4.0 installed on your Mac. The 4.0.1 update is not available "publicly," meaning you can't search for it on Apple's website and find it; FCE 4.0 has to already be installed on your Mac and you have to update it via Software Update on your Mac.
One forum contributor DID find a way to download the 4.0.1 update without using Software Update, see this thread -> Where can I download Final Cut Express 4.0.1?
My advice is to move to Final Cut Pro X since you have a Mac running Mavericks (10.9.5).
I understand your frustration at having purchased some software and now you can no longer use it. However, obsolescence is a natural part of the technology world. FCE is now obsolete and has been replaced by Final Cut Pro X. If you have OS X Lion or any later version of OS X installed on your Mac, you should be looking at Final Cut Pro X.

On pressing retry I got the same message.
On pressing Ignore, I got the message “ITunes was not installed correctly, please reinstall ITunes – Error 7 – (windows error 126)
I reinstalled with the same error messages and the same results.
I uninstalled existing and reinstalled from scratch and the same error messages again.
I try to repair and at the end it said it had installed correctly – but when it tried to start I got the message “This application has failed to start because MSVCR80.dll was not found. Reinstalling the application may fix the problem” I now get the same message when I first start the computer but when I press ok I receive ““ITunes was not installed correctly; please reinstall ITunes – Error 7 – (windows error 126)” again.
It appears the update has not only corrupted the operating system (Xp Pro SP3) of my computer but I have no backups to my IPhone, my wife’s IPhone or the three others phones that use my computer.
I hope you can advise me how to recover my backups

A new version of iConcertCal is available!

I received an update alert for iTunes 8.11 and when I did clic ok this other pop window saying " A new version of iConcertCal is available!"
The iTunes does not work now and the beach ball keeps spinning I go to force Quit and it shows iTune not responding.
I deleted and deleted iTunes installed it and nothing it just keep generating a report, relaunch or quit!
What is going on can someone tell me, Please. I want to sync my iPhone and weekly TV shows.

I went to apple programs dowloads and they had remove the iConcertCal from their site, so thats when I got concern and posted the topic. How ever I knew that it was a matter of time before someone will come up with the solution. You were that someone. Thanks!

If your using File>Place then photoshop cs2 creates what's known as Smart Objects, which photoshop 7 didn't have.
In photoshop cs2 you can rasterize the smart objects and that should make the Cut function available.
Select both placed layers, right click on the area to the right of the tumbnail and select Rasterize Layers.
If in photoshop cs2 you to Help>Photoshop Help and look under Layers>Smart Objects, that should give you a good overview of what smart objects are.

I also posted this question and then Googled it. The instruction was to delete, in order iTunes, Apple Software Update, Apple Mobile Device Support, Bonjour, Apple Application Support and iCloud. If you have on your previous Apple ID a rescue email address and that email address is what you are using to create a new one, then it will not let you use it. See if you can log in to your Apple ID and remove that email address. Check out the article below for more information.

Growl has a long development history, is popular and performs a useful function. Many of your background applications use it send messages to your screen that tell you all kinds of useful things (if you're interested). Some applications ask you if you want them to install Growl for you - you or someone using your Mac may have answered 'yes' a long time ago, or it may have occurred without your permission. In any event, you might set it uyp and give it a try for a while, I think it will grow on you. If not, just remove it.
