[FINALLY SOLVED] "Audio device not detected by EAX Console/Speaker Setting Panel" Prob

Question

PROBLEM: A message pops up saying "The audio device supported by this application is not detected" when clicking on any Creative Utilities like EAX Console or the Speakers Control Panel.
SOLUTION: After 6 hours of trying out all solution advices/attempts for the problem above, I figured that there are only 2 ways to get rid of this issue.

[color="#800000">An installation error causes this problem which in the first instance is addressed by ensuring that you have disabled the onboard audio. If this does not work in the second instance you will need to uninstall the card as follows:
() Uninstall software and drivers either, through control panel or the installation CD
(2) Move the card to PCI slot 3 (if not already there) [VERY IMPORTANT]

. Delete the files from "\Creative".
2. Delete the following registry node from the registry
- HKLM\Software\Creative Tech\Software Installed
- HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uni nstall\5CDDF96A-BC34-4D72-9ABA-EFFF0C39977
(4) Reinstall the software and drivers.
Eventually I'd like to recommend the Creative Team to put this solution in the FAQ, since I counted at least 20 members in this forum, having the same problem without getting to a solution.

BTW just in case people search for the error message in German:
in German the pop up says:
"Das von dieser Anwendung unterst?tzte Audioger?t wurde nicht gefunden"
