I will try to apply it in our environment.
If we couldn't do it, I think that we have other two options; first options is to reinstall OFA in the Web Server Node where there is a Metalink note states how to move OFA from server to server. The second option is changing the configuration files of OFA to reference the Web Server in the new node.
I will update you with the results.

Problems setting up Remote Web Access in Windows Storage Server 2008 R2

We just bought a WD Sentinel DX4000 Storage Server and went through the Remote Web Access wizard. It setup the router just fine but when we got to the setup your domain name we have been having
headaches ever since. We chose the option to use our own domain name, which we have registered through GoDaddy. It then showed that yes, our provider was GoDaddy but then it told us we needed to update our service with GoDaddy so we clicked the
"Go to GoDaddy.com" button and it sent us to a page to purchase an SSL certificate. So, we did that but then had issues with it not being able to be managed in our GoDaddy account. So, I went into the domain name with GoDaddy and purchased
a certificate there and got it setup on the domain name with GoDaddy.
The problem is that when I try to go through the wizard again to set up the domain name I still have to click the goDaddy button to move to the next page where I type my domain name, username, and password
with GoDaddy. I setup the remote extension in the A records with GoDaddy as remote.mydomain.com, and put in my username and password with GoDaddy. After I click next it tries to connect to the domain name service provider but then gives me the
following error message over and over:
The domain name was not set up for your server. Wait a few minutes and run the wizard again.
An unexpected or unknown problem occurred. Please wait a few minutes, and then try again.
Well, I have tried this several times and am about to start pulling my hair out. Can anyone please tell me what I may be doing wrong?

Unable to type from keyboard consistently in FF when certain sites are open (Lotus Domino Web Access)

When I use FireFox to Open Lotus Domino Web Access after a few minute the browser will not allow me type consistently. This happened before around version 13 or 14 but went away. The mouse works perfectly except when clicking on window to open new tab.
I have uninstalled, reinstalled current version 16.0.2
I have uninstalled, reinstalled earlier version 14
I have started in Safe Mode
I have disabled all add-ins except for "Remote XUL Manager" which is necessary for Lotus Domino Web Access.
I force closed using Task Manger and restart and it will work for a few minutes then start the same issue. I can not type "letter by letter" , if I hold a "letter" key down it will repeat the letter albeit at a slower pace.
Unfortunately I installed Windows 8 which has IE10 (which cannot access Web Mail at all) so I have resorted to typing in a word document and pasting into emails within Lotus just to function.
The site is not accessible for outside testing as it occurs post log in to site.

Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.
"Clear the Cache":
* Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Offline Storage (Cache): "Clear Now"
"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:
* Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"

First of all I would like to say hello, this being my first post here.
Today I bought my first Linksys Camera and it works flawless on my LAN but I don't know how to access it from outside the network(web access).
My camera is connected through a D-Link DIR-600 Router and my ISP is using a dynamic IP address.
I forwarded port 1234 for my Linksys camera local IP and changed "Web Access" Port from camera setup to 1234.
My question is if I know my IP how do I connect to the camera and how do I let other people see it? For example let's say my IP is 123.123.123.123 should I use http://123.123.123.123:1234 to see the camera?

Since you have a dynamic IP, it's highly recommended that you get a DDNS service such as TZO to keep a domain name on the cam instead of relying on an IP.
If you just want to use the IP, you first need to open port 1234 and then use the WAN IP and Port as shown, http://123.123.123.123:1234 should work as long as port 1234 is open to the STATIC LAN IP of the camera.

Multi node two web servers?

Is it possible to have TWO web servers, on a multi node install. I am not really concerned about load balancing. I am mostly concerned with installing a second web server in a DMZ for external users to access.

There is a document in Metalink for this. We have implemented DMZ setup in multinode. Note:287176.1

Web Access Not Loading Completely After Upgrade

We recently upgraded from TFS 2012 Update 2 to TFS 2013 Update 4.
After the upgrade, users are having intermittent issues trying to load Web Access - for some users, only the header loads, but none of the information below (like work items, for example) loads - the entire screen basically stays blank.
This is happening on different browsers for different people. Clearing caches has worked for some users and not others, and for some people the problem has come back after being able to load Web Access normally a couple days ago.
I do see this error popping up when debugging:
No define call received from module Presentation/Scripts/TFS/TFS.DataServices. This might be a problem.
What can I do to correct this?

I'd like to know if you see any error message in the pages of team web access. Also check event logs to see if there any useful information.
For this situation, you can have a check whether your upgrade without issue. Run TFS best practice analyzer to check if there any configuration issues. Make sure you have configured TFS 2013 features after upgrading. Refer to this
page for more information. If the issue still exist after taking the methods, please elaborate more details about your scenario with screenshots.

Can I setup a rule to auto forward or move messages in Microsoft Outlook Web Access for Firefox?

I am using Firefox 5.0 and Microsoft Office Outlook Web Access for email.
Is it possible to setup a rule to automatically move messages to a different folder, or to forward message to a different folder?

i haven't done it myself, i just pointed you to the article. Try it. If it does not work, you can Restore the Default settings. Save several Screenshots of the Default Settings to your Desktop to help you in case you want to Revert to the Default Settings.

You can create a new APS in CMC containing the Data Federation Service with
-Xmx2g -> 8g (This is the suggested range)
Make sure you remove this service from the existing APS and then create a new one.
You could refer SAP KBA 1694041 - BI 4.x Consulting:- How to size the Adaptive Processing
Server (APS) which would assist you in sizing the APS.

Cannot view OWA email - after upgrade to Firefox 5.0, Outlook Web Access displays ASCII characters (garbage) in message body. Same issue with multiple servers.

Email body of HTML or RTF messages are rendered in ASCII characters after upgrading to Firefox 5 when viewing email in MS Outlook Web Access (OWA) light from MS Exchange 2007 servers. Issue is repeatable with two entirely different Exchange systems.
Text email renders OK. Work around is to forward email (in use MS-IE).

(1) You say you did the symbolic link. I will assume this is set correctly; it's very important that it is.
(2) I don't know what you mean by "Been feeding the [email protected] for several weeks now, 700 emails each day at least." After the initial training period, SpamAssassin doesn't learn from mail it has already processed correctly. At this point, you only need to teach SpamAssassin when it is wrong. [email protected] should only be getting spam that is being passed as clean. Likewise, [email protected] should only be getting legitimate mail that is being flagged as junk. You are redirecting mail to both [email protected] and [email protected] ... right? SpamAssassin needs both.
(3) Next, as I said before, you need to implement those "Frontline spam defense for Mac OS X Server." Once you have that done and issue "postfix reload" you can look at your SMTP log in Server Admin and watch as Postfix blocks one piece of junk mail after another. It's kind of cool.
(4) Add some SARE rules:

Similar thing is happening to a relative.
He upgraded his iPhone 5 and lost his iCloud account and all his email accounts. Major pain in the neck for a senior. And it was not a user error...unless you count the fact that he hit the upgrade button.

How to setup multi node installation

Hi all,
I have successfully installed Oracle E-Business Suite 11.5.10 in a single node.
But, I would like to get some suggestions on How to perform the multinode installation in which all the application tier servers in independent nodes?
If the nodes are placed in different places geographically, how can I move all these nodes in to a single network? Is this possible?
Please guide me.

server so that if we only want to install apps tier
in only one server then we don't need to check that
option? Or we better check it even no matter how many
server we installed apps tier into? You only need to check that box if you intend to used a shared application tier filesystem for a multi-node installation. If you are only going to have one app tier server, you don't need to check the box. If you plan on multiple apps tiers, each with its own copy of the application tier file system, you also don't need to check that box.
2. If I still uncheck that option will there be any
problem such as in backup & restore, clone, testing
activity, etc?No, should not be any problem at all.
3. When we created user for each db tier and apps
tier, what will be better, create the same user for
both tiers or differentiate user for each db tier and
apps tier? I'm thinking of using same user for both
tiers to avoid privilege problem later on.
I'd recommend the same user for application tier files on all nodes in the system, and a different user for database-tier files. For example, in our system the database software (RDBMS ORACLE_HOME) and database datafiles are owned by 'oracle', and the EBS application files (APPL_TOP, forms and web server, etc) are owned by a user called 'applprod' (though of course you should choose a user name that makes sense in your environment.
4. Can we start clone process in db tier and apps tier >paralel in multinode environment or still start clone >process in db tier first then apps tier?Still need to do the db tier first, since 'adcfgclone.pl appsTier' will want to talk to a database. :-)

Hide system tray notification after login via RD web access

I have a question. Is there a way to set that the notification in system tray won't appear after login into RD web access? And related question. I recently rename server and in this notification still shows old one. "Your computer is connect to: {old

What’s your server OS Version? There is one KB related to the issue which you are facing.
The issue might occurs when there are multiple unexpired cookies on the client computer. To work around this issue you can use “Let me Fix by myself” from below article.

After I right-clicked on an unwanted email in Microsoft Web Access and put a filter on it all my emails and the menus disappeared. I can re-access in IE but how do I restore what I have foolishly done in Firefox?

I was working through my emails in Microsoft Web Access when I came across an email from a sender who keeps spamming me. I right-clicked on this unwanted email, saw a filter option and (recklessly) chose it. ALL my emails and the menus disappeared. I can re-access my emails in MWA in IE but how do I restore what I have foolishly messed up in Firefox? When I get to my email page in MWA in Firefox I now see nothing but the movable vertical bar.

You should really read the manual.

Restore. When given the choice, choose to use backup.
"And how can I check to see if the pics and videos are on my computer somewhere first??"
They would only be where you put them. What program did you use to import them? Pics/vids taken with ipod are not part of the sync process at all. You should be importing them just as you would with any digital camera.
If you did not import them, then they are not on your computer.

Outlook Web Access fails after migrating SSL certificate to dedicated SSL gateway

Hi we have just migrated our SSL certificate form our Outlook exchange server, outlook web access works perfectly but two of our users who have Blackberry devices set up to get their email via owa now fail.
Everything worked fine before the migration.
The new SSL gateway is an Apache box running mod_proxy, mod_SSL and mod_sec. Protecting the box running owa and IIS6.
I can provide the http.conf etc, but I can see the traffic passed by Apache but I am getting a 401 message on the way back through to the device.
Is there a specific IIS/Exchange or Apache config I need to enable to allow BB access?

Hello there!
You may have run up against some of the complexities between BIS and OWA. There are a couple of circumstances where BIS can't integrate to OWA. Plus, if the mailbox name changed, that may be the problem as well. While I'm neither a BIS nor OWA admin, I can point you to information resources that hopefully can help you.
