Financial Reporting Batch Scheduler Failed To Send Email To Users. Version 11.1.2.1

Created a batch and scheduled the report from Workspace to run. Scheduled batch ran successful but the Email is not generated for the user though we have provided the valid email address.
Is this is known issue?

Already i have ANT_HOME =D:\Oracle\Middleware\modules\org.apache.ant_1.7.1 and added to ANT_HOME to the PATH variable. I restarted the system but still i am getting same error.

Financial Reporting Batch Scheduler Error - EPM 11.1.2.1

Hi,
I just downloaded, installed and configured 11.1.2.1 on a test server. Defaults were used and all products have been configured to run on the same database (SQL Server). Mostly everything seems to be working, but when I try to open up "Batch Scheduler", I get an error:

*java.sql.SQLSyntaxErrorException: [FMWGEN][SQLServer JDBC Driver][SQLServer]Invalid object name 'FR_SCHEDULER_DATA'.*
I click on "OK" and I'm in the Batch Scheduler window, but then when I schedule a batch, and click on "Finish", I get a Warning "A member must be provided for the Prompt":
Code: 2021
Description: A Member must be provided for the Prompt
The scheduled batch does not show up in the Batch Scheduler window though.
Any ideas on how I would go about rectifying this error?

I just realized that I was connecting to an instance of SQL Server running 2000. Redid the deployment against SQL Server 2008 and everything's working fine now.

Exporting scheduled financial report batches with LCM

Hi folks. Running 11.1.1.3 EPM here.
I'm trying to use LCM to export scheduled Financial Reporting batches. When I am in Shared Services under Reporting and Analysis, under the Scheduled Objects drilldown, I don't see any scheduled objects yet I have about 200 FR batch reports scheduled on my dev server.
Am I looking in the wrong place to export these or is there another way?

Sorry I wan't aware the folder structure was different in 11.1.2. I found this on the LCM admin guide:
Default value: This parameter is commented out and the Lifecycle Management engine uses the default file system location on the Shared Services computer; for example:
MIDDLEWARE_HOME/user_projects/epmsystem1/import_export/username@ProviderName.

But i am getting a nullpointer exception at this line: MsgGateway.send(htmlEmail);

I have checked to ensure the bundle com.day.cq.cq-mail and my own bundle is running .
I am also sure that 'htmlEmail' is not null by retrieving the email subject via .getSubject and it did return me the subject.
I do not understand what is returning the nullpointerexception.

The MessageGateway instance (MessageGateway<HtmlEmail> MsgGateway) is null therby throwing a null pointer.
Instead of instanciating msgGateway as :
MessageGatewayService MsgService = getMessageGateWayService(sling);
MessageGateway<HtmlEmail> MsgGateway = MsgService.getGateway(HtmlEmail.class);
Inject your MessageGateway as:
@Reference
private MessageGateway<HtmlEmail> msgGateway;
and then call send on msgGateway as msgGateway.send(htmlEmail)

When attempting to do this, I receive the following error message: Failed to send Email, Cannot establish a secure channel with the outgoing email server smtp-mail.outlook.com. Please provide me with detailed instructions re how I can correct this problem. I am using LR 5.6 to process Nikon D800E raw imaged @files on my Dell laptop computer. Except for this problem, LR works fine for me even if it is at times slow.

Sending email to user using the notification template in OIM 11g

Hi all
I have created a Notification Template using web console in OIM 11g.
Iam able to access the contents from notification template in my java code.
But iam not able to find the correct api's to send email to user using the notification template
(like tcEmailNotificationUtil using this class we can connect to email template created in design console and creating IT resourse we can send email to user using the method sendEmail).

"The Notification Event is defined through a XML file that must be loaded into MDS database." - in which path and in what name it should be.
Because under /metadata/iam-features-notification, i couldnt see any event Xml present. I thought atleast we could see the existing OOB notification template's event xml files.
Please let me know if you are aware.

Batch Scheduler Failing Randomly

Hi all -
I have a batch scheduled to run on demand. It runs on ~130 custom members. A few months ago it started failing on random custom members. It will run successfully on most, but failed on some with the error:
Problems encountered in "Financial Reports/01 - Monthly Financials/GA Reports/GA Burst Reports"
ADM Error processing results from query: The remote procedure call failed.
Every time the members it fails on are different and the number of failures fluctuates as well.
Oracle Support suggested trying fewer members, but halving the number of customs involved still produces errors.
Has anyone else had experience with this issue?

I am not aware of a way to schedule calc scripts through workspace.
Though as Rosi said there is the business rules command line launcher, CmdLineLauncher in the bin folder of planning.
You can also run calc scripts using command line with maxl.
Once you have the scripts then you can schedule them.

Task Scheduler - Can't Send Email

I can't seem to get the email alert working from Event Viewer on Windows 2008.
From an event, we selected "Attach Task To This Event" from the context menu and completed the wizard which ended up creating a scheduled task. Unfortunately, when we intentionally offlined a service, it did not trigger an email alert. The history
of the task showed: 202, Action Failed, Run Failure. The general tab showed:
Task Scheduler failed to complete task "\Event Viewer Tasks\System_Service Control Manager_7036" , instance "{de23f633-a531-4f21-815e-52630c7fccce}" , action "This is a test. Spooler Stopped! Test Test" . Additional Data: Error Value: 2147746321.
What is this 2147746321?
Server is Windows 2008 SP2 (non-R2) and is joined into a domain. The job is set to run w/out the user having to be logged in, with highest privs and this account is designated as a local admin to that server. The email is routed thru our Exch
2007 Hub servers. Unfortunately, the Exch logs showed that the message never even hit Exch. As a test, from this server, I ran a manual telnet into the Hub on 25, and was able to send a test message from that local host. So connectivity into
Exch from that server is good. For good measure, we turned off UAC as well and still the same result.
Has anyone come across this before?
