Financial Statement translation
Hi Guru,
I have to translate the Financial Statement (transaction OB58).
I have followed the sap note 1803913 "Changing language in financial statement structure", but when I run the transaction code SE63 for the steps "Translation-->Abap Object-->Other long text-->FI Balance Sheet/P&L Statement", the system returned to me this message "Object not found".
The Object exists in the system.
Do you have any suggestion?

Once you double-click on FIBS, system will return you to a selection screen. On the Object Name field, when you do a drop down (F4), system is probably saying that no objects are found. One reason that I can think of is that system is looking for OB58 FSVs in the Source language that is defaulted in the bottom of that selection screen. Let's say your FSV is originally created in source language ES. In that case, first please change the source language to ES (the field is greyed-out, but you can still select the source language from the drop down (F4)), and then try the drop down on the Object Name field. Once you select the Object Name (which will be a node within your FSV), choose the target language before you click on Edit, and then maintain the translation. Repeat for every node your in FSV.
Transporting this translation is a manual push (just an additional info. that I thought may be helpful).

Everytime when we want to change the Financial Statement Version we are getting an erro " client 900 has status 'not modifiable'.
At the same time we are not interested in client(900) to be opened for one such transaction.
Is there any other way to solve this issue.

It is standard to Transport FSV, the only complication in transporting is if it has been translated into additional Languages.

Financial Statement Versions and languages
Hi
I want to clean up our current lots of financial statement versions.
And create new ones, to be used across our companies, so one for IFRS to be used within several company codes in different countries.
I see that there is a language field in the Financial Statement Version, which makes it not flexible for the language. In that case I have to have multiple Financial Statement Versions with the same structure just due to a language issue. And maintain them seperately. Or is there a solution available ?
I would like to have one IFRS Financial Statement Version, readable in either English, German, Dutch or French.
Any suggestions ?

Display Financial Statement (S_ALR_87012284) in document currency amount
I would like to display financial statement in document currency amount. (T-CD:S_ALR_87012284)
Does anyone know how to do this?
I don't want to use the special evaluation tab of that T-CD, as it is requested to specify
rate and Key date for translation. I just want to display the amount in document currency.Hi Ramanuja,
I meant that for the fiscal year 2009 G/L accounts don't have any values in SAP.
In this Company SAP has been installed in 2010 and in Financial Statements I'd like to obtain the comparison with the values of 2009.
What to do?

Unwanted financial statement items coming in FSV
Hello Group,
I have created one FSV thru OB58 for only assets and liabilities accounts.
When I ran this FSV thru report S_ALR_87012284-Financial Statements, I found that some profit and loss accounts are also displayed in report.
Also I got problem after I ran FAGL_FC_TRANS - Closing -> Valuate -> Currency Translation of Balances as system has translated P&L accounts also which I do not want.
I have further investigated and created one TEST FSV without assigning any financial statement items. When I ran it in the report, this has also displayed same P&L accounts.
Can any body give some suggestions?

Standard SAP Setup will consider the following.
Since at any point of time the financial statement should tally. So, all assigned GL accounts will be appearing under respective nodes and un assigned GL accounts will appear under a separate node making the trial balance as Zero. This is standard and this is how it has to be.
If the unassigned GL accounts balances are Zero and you dont require to show in the output you can further filter it out in the input screen of F.01

Hi all
I am creating a customized report of Financial Statement that contains monthly figures for every G/L account.
When I compared my report with the standard FS, I found out in standard FS, there are some G/L are taking amount from previous fiscal year. For example, when I choose to view FS for 2007, some G/L amount are included with amount from fiscal year 2006.
Can anyone explain this, is FS is normally like this. Is it have something related to open and closed items? I dont have deep Finance background anyway.

How to extract the Financial statement version from R/3 to BW

I've used the business content to extract the details of SAP R/3 G/L account details to BW. Now, I need to extract the Financial statement version also from R/3 to SAP. Is there any business content object available for the same?

Sam.Use cube: 0FIGL_C01 with 0GL_ACCOUNT. Load the text and attributes for 0GL_ACCOUNT and the hierarchy based on FSVs in R/3.Build your Balance Sheets and Income Statemments in this.
If your FSV has balance dependancies: say if the accounts in the FSV move from one node to another depending on their balance at run time, then you will have to use the virtual cube (0FIGL_VC1) along with info-object 0GLACCEXT. However from my experience with VC1, there are a lot of restrictions and inconsistencies that you will have to contend with while working with this cube.

Financial Statements report - F.01
Hello,
I posted this question to the abap forum, but maybe you can help me better. As you know, the account amounts from the financial statement report come from financial documents. And when you create a financial document you specify a document type(vendor invoice, vendor payment and many others). What i need to do is modify the report to show only amounts from certain types, not all types. For doing that, i need to know if there is a connection between the financial statement and the documents types. I searched the code of the report and i did not find anything relevant.
Maybe you met this requirement before and talked with an abaper. If that is the case, maybe you can give me a suggestion.

I want to add Trading partner in dynamic selection fields of financial statement report at document level not yet GL master level: S_ALR_87012284 - Balance Sheet / Profit and Loss Statement .
Can any one tell how to proceed?
I have referred notes: Note 188663 - Enhancing selection views and dynamic selection.
But exactly I am unable to find which logical database has to be given?

If you want to add extra field in your report you can do the setting in Layout selection. If it is not available kinldy check any SAP notes available or not. Otherwise do Zreport with your ABAPer.

I understand that Chart of Account structure is one and common for IFRS and other accounting method. We need to create only those account separately ( 2 times with prefix like IFRS revenue account, GAAP Revenue account).
Now at time of entry, Assume some entries / adjustment are specifically for IFRS and not for other ledger. In this case, What need to do ?
You have mentioned about DTW approach but do we need to insert all JV's again with other ledger ?
Someone suggested that if any entry which are specific to IFRS Ledger, We need to user Ref.1 /2 column or Transcation code column and in which we can put IFRS
Based on this, Need to create 2 seperate template for IFRS and other ledger for all report.

Please give me any tip.
I created a financial statement version, all accounts were included. I executed the transaction F.01 (Financial Statements) with mark in ALV tree control (list output), the balance sheet is displayed, I expand subtree, after each number of account exist 2 lines more: Number/Name of Company Code and under Not assigned.
Does anybody know how to hidden these last 2 lines? Maybe layout, note......
*I assined all accounts.

The configuration is only to "Show Total", this is not my problem, my problem is to use the option list output "ALV tree control" if I use this layout I have problem, others no problem, but the customer wants to use exactly this one.
