I'm using Apple MacBook. iPhone 4s and iPad ratina. i tried to found the right app for my business but i didn't found. I have a used car business and i'm using MS Excel. i knew apple have a iWork but i need the app use for my business.

Why can't you use iWorks?
The Numbers app for Mac is quite capable and there is also Numbers app for iPhone and iPad.

What I would recommend doing is contacting the local Apple Store in your area. All Apple Retail Stores have specialized business teams that hold free workshops on using the iPad for business and have lots of knowledge about business applications/uses. Give your local store a call and ask for the business team!

There are a large number of word processing programs available. A simple app store search in the productivity section will bring up a wide range, from Docs2Go to Pages and many in between. There are also simple text editors, such as Elements and others which are cheaper, but not as full featured.
For printing, you need an HP printer that supports AirPrint. No special app on the iPad will allow you to print to any printer, just to those that are AirPrint enabled.
Being on a PC, I don't know of any other printing options. If you have a Mac available, you can install Printopia, and print wirelessly to any printer your Mac can print to.

Finding The Right App

im having trouble finding the right app for my ipad. i will spend money and everything, but there are just no good apps out there. the type of app i want is a creation app, sort of like google sketchup, or even better, something like cinema 4d. ive never seen any app come even close to anything like that. i just like making and designing things. i play the game "Soundrop" alot because you just simply create lines into creative little structures and paths for the balls to bounce. if they ever came out for a line rider for the ipad i would probably pay $50+ just for that one app which already exists on the iphone but sadly not on the ipad...does someone have any suggestions for any apps that you think i would like?

You can hire people to build your app for you, but it will cost you. Now how deep you will dig into your pockets will depend on the complexity of your app. Try a company called azurasoft but be cautious dont get suckered into anything

Cant find the right forum for this but can i restore my hd from time mch to a year ago and then restore individual files such as logic lprojects that are on same time mchne backup from last week?

a. Restore entire macpro hard drive from time machine to a time over a year ago before problems started
b. Restore more recent individual files such as logic projects individually from same time machine backup
c. install any programs manually again only couple of vsts
please answer direct question as i have tried everything else and nonhardware problems just will no longer boot after months of reseting each time

Trying to Find the Right Phone for Me

I'm thinking of switching to a BlackBerry, and could use a bit of help finding the right phone for me. I've browsed through them, but so far haven't been able to find what I'm looking for (and I'm not able to find out which phones have UMA or not in the compare section).
Provider isn't important, as I'm fine changing my service.
I'm looking for a phone that is:
* Both WiFi and UMA compatible
* GPS compatible
* Preferably with a Camera

Trouble searching/finding the best apps for my needs

For the past few days, I've been poking around the App Store in iTunes. Either I'm not looking in the right places, or the App Store is horribly arranged! It seems only Games are broken into sub categories. The top 20 paid and free apps are listed, but beyond that, it's incredibly difficult to find what you are looking for. When you search on key words, there doesn't seem to be a way to sort based on reviews, price, etc.
Example of mine might be... I want a good password keeper. There is no sub category for password keepers in any of the main categories. If I search on "password", I get hundreds of apps that aren't all password keepers. If I search on "password keeper", I only get a few apps, and I know some of the good ones are missing. No matter what I get for search results, I have to look at the details for each one to even see the review averages.
Grrr. Frustrating!
What am I missing? There's got to be a better way to do this.

I've found that google is useful when you're looking for an application for something. For example, if I was you I'd google top password keepers for iphone or top password keeper apps for iphone.
Once you do this, you should find all kinds of articles on what you're looking for. That's how I've found a couple of applications that I was looking for.

I can't find/install podcasting app for N85?

Hey all...
I wanted to try out the Nokia Podcasting app on my N85. However, it doesn't appear in the list of apps on the N85's "Download!" section; it doesn't appear on mobile.nokia.come's app list when I go there on the N85 (only "World Clock" does, and no other apps for some reason), and when I found a copy on Nokia's site and tried to install it, I get "Certificate Error" (I've turned off cert checking, but I still get this error).
Is the Nokia Podcasting app not actually supported? Or just not supported on the N85? Or just not on phones operating in North America?
I'm puzzled.

The podcasting app is built into the N85's OS by default. You will find it in MENU-->MUSIC-->Podcasting.
