I know we can change but I don't want. Is there any idea where we can we can look configuration file and find apps password? How to find APP password?

You tried what ? If the app is no longer available in the store (can you find it in the main part of the store ?) for re-downloading then you would need to have a copy of it somewhere e.g. on your computer's iTunes, on a backup of your downloads.

Is autoconfig required to be run for apps password change

Is autoconfig required to be run for apps password change -- We are only changing APPS and APPLSYS passwords.
How to Change Applications Passwords using Applications Schema Password Change Utility (FNDCPASS or AFPASSWD) [ID 437260.1] -- does not mention anything about autoconfig.
Please clarify.

2. Under "Verify the new password" which cover the apps/applsys passwords
If you search the doc for "AutoConfig" you will find it there.

Lost of APPS password for EBS 11i (11.5.10.2)

I need to reset APPS password in my test environment. The APPS password is now messed up and I need to find a way to reset it. I am in the process of cloning an existing environment. I can not start all the services yet. The FNDCPASS utility works only when you know a valid APPS password. However, my current APPS password is not working anymore. Is there way to accomplish this?
Greatly appreciated if anyone can help.

Really bad situation....although you might still come over it if you have not played around much...
Do you have any other environement with apps password working and also if you have not run autoconfig on target server? If yes then it would be easier...
Take backup of FND_USER, FND_ORACLE_USERID on target server(where you are facing issue).
truncate these table from target.
eport these tables from some working env(source) and import it here(target) and then use apps pass of source to work here.

Hi ,
I checked few threads for apps password in R12 in $APPL_TOP/admin/<SID>/adalldefaults.txt.
But this file does not has the apps password , it points to old password i.e apps.
Is there any other way for find the apps password .?

Please read this whole message before doing anything.
This procedure is a diagnostic test. It’s unlikely to solve your problem. Don’t be disappointed when you find that nothing has changed after you complete it.
The purpose of the test is to determine whether the problem is caused by third-party software that loads automatically at startup or login, by a peripheral device, by a font conflict, or by corruption of the file system or of certain system caches.
Disconnect all wired peripherals except those needed for the test, and remove all aftermarket expansion cards, if applicable. Start up in safe mode and log in to the account with the problem. You must hold down the shift key twice: once when you boot, and again when you log in.
Note: If FileVault is enabled, or if a firmware password is set, or if the boot volume is a software RAID, you can’t do this. Ask for further instructions.
Safe mode is much slower to boot and run than normal, with limited graphics performance, and some things won’t work at all, including sound output and Wi-Fi on certain models. The next normal boot may also be somewhat slow.
The login screen appears even if you usually login automatically. You must know your login password in order to log in. If you’ve forgotten the password, you will need to reset it before you begin.
Test while in safe mode. Same problem?
After testing, reboot as usual (i.e., not in safe mode) and verify that you still have the problem. Post the results of the test.

FNDCPASS failed to change apps password.

I have freshly installed my ebs r12 system(R 12.0.6) and i am trying to change the defailt apps password using FNDCPASS utility as below. But after changing the password. When i try to login with modified password, sqlplus is says invalid username or password.
FNDCPASS apps/apps 0 Y system/manager SYSTEM APPLSYS apps001
How can i recover my password now?

I tried running autoconfig and it failed for all sql scripts.
I was able to login using my old apps password after restoring the database and i am getting same error after running FNDCPASS.
It seems there is something missing in my FNDCPASS. I can see FNDCPASS file size on my new setup is 6 bytes less than the file on other environment.

HT1766 where do I find the password to that unlocks my iPhone backup?

I tried to sync my iPhone4 this morning and it is now locked and I had to restore it and back it up and its asking for a password....???
I only wanted to sync my pictures, contacts and update apps.....NOT Restore my phone!
Where would I find a password that restores the last back up???

You can erase your phone. That's really your only option. You can reboot it while holding down the home button and it should go into DFU mode.
You also must reset your Apple ID password. Hopefully you have a good backup, and you should use better passwords and/or get better friends.

Apple (and no one else) can not assist (with serial number or iCloud) in finding a lost or stolen iPad.
Report to police along with serial number. Change all your passwords.

"Java" doesn't have a password, unless you mean your admin password for installing software. That's whatever password you (or the person who set your computer up) used to set up your admin account.
