Find development that was directly done in production

guys,
i suspect that some of my developers were doing development directly in production because the client and system were open. How can i find a list of objects that they modified directly there -- both SAP standard and custom ?
I was thinking about looking at all the transport requests from se09 but that wouldnt cover objects that were saved in $TMP package ??? So any way to find out all ?
also, any idea about how to find the same for all the customizing that was directly done in production ?

I can't find something that was there on the first day

On the first day of exploring my iMac, I stumbled across this utility where you could pick a person, man or woman, and pick a language and also a nationality. For example, you could pick a guy named Pierre, choose English, and French nationality, and it would speak in English with that accent. I think but am not sure it had something to do with creating an avatar to use somewhere.
I haven't been able to find it since, although I have searched everywhere I can think of. I don't know what application it was in. The only thing I have on here that didn't come with the machine is iWork, so I'm sure it was something in an application or utility that came with the machine.
Does anyone recognize what it is I'm talking about, and where I could find it again?

No, there was a box that contained an animated cartoon character of a guy or a woman depending on what you chose, and then some names underneath, each having a different voice/language. I remember the voice called "Pierre" which was specified as Quebec French. You could then type in a sentence or some words, and click play, and the character would speak it in the language/accent that you chose. I've gone through the whole help file, and everything in the System Preferences, and can't find it. I've also checked the help files for iChat and Photobooth, and anything else that looks relevant.

Can't find photo that was edited in photoshop in iPhoto

I do all my photo editing in Photoshop Elements 6. I save the edited photo in the iPhoto library (same place as the original photo), but when I go back to iPhoto, I cannot find the edited photo, only the original. Any idea where it is or how I can view it in iPhoto? I am using iPhoto '08.

Here's how you should be using Photoshop Elements 6 with iPhoto:
Using Photoshop (or Photoshop Elements) as Your Editor of Choice in iPhoto.
1 - select Photoshop as your editor of choice in iPhoto's General Preference Section's under the "Edit photo:" menu.
2 - double click on the thumbnail in iPhoto to open it in Photoshop. When you're finished editing click on the Save button. If you immediately get the JPEG Options window make your selection (Baseline standard seems to be the most compatible jpeg format) and click on the OK button. Your done.
3 - however, if you get the navigation window that indicates that PS wants to save it as a PS formatted file. You'll need to either select JPEG from the menu and save (top image) or click on the desktop in the Navigation window (bottom image) and save it to the desktop for importing as a new photo.
This method will let iPhoto know that the photo has been editied and will update the thumbnail file to reflect the edit..
NOTE: With Photoshop Elements 6 the Saving File preferences should be configured: "On First Save: Save Over Current File". Also I suggest the Maximize PSD File Compatabilty be set to Always.
If you want to use both iPhoto's editing mode and PS without having to go back and forth to the Preference pane, once you've selected PS as your editor of choice, reset the Preferences back to "Open in main window". That will let you either edit in iPhoto (double click on the thumbnail) or in PS (Control-click on the thumbnail and seledt "Edit in external editor" in the Contextual menu). TIP: For insurance against the iPhoto database corruption that many users have experienced I recommend making a backup copy of the Library6.iPhoto (iPhoto.Library for iPhoto 5 and earlier) database file and keep it current. If problems crop up where iPhoto suddenly can't see any photos or thinks there are no photos in the library, replacing the working Library6.iPhoto file with the backup will often get the library back. By keeping it current I mean backup after each import and/or any serious editing or work on books, slideshows, calendars, cards, etc. That insures that if a problem pops up and you do need to replace the database file, you'll retain all those efforts. It doesn't take long to make the backup and it's good insurance.
I've created an Automator workflow application (requires Tiger or later), iPhoto dB File Backup, that will copy the selected Library6.iPhoto file from your iPhoto Library folder to the Pictures folder, replacing any previous version of it. It's compatible with iPhoto 6 and 7 libraries and Tiger and Leopard. iPhoto does not have to be closed to run the application, just idle. You can download it at Toad's Cellar. Be sure to read the Read Me pdf file.≤br>
Note: There now an Automator backup application for iPhoto 5 that will work with Tiger or Leopard.

Finder methods that return collections (don't work)

Hi all, this looks like an internal error, but I though Id ask incase there is a way around it.
Im having some problems with entity java beans using jdeveloper and the internal j2ee server. The bean is deployed and runs, find by primary key and all other methods work except find by last name which returns a collection.
I have experimented with the code, and stepped through with the debugger. The debugger doesn't find any errors or throw any exceptions. The method which it calims causes the error ejb find by last name does not throw an error and exits normally.
Though experiments I have done I have found that the failure only occurs if the collection returned has elements. If and empty collection is returned then the error is not given. If null is returned then the same error is given with a null pointer exception at the start instead of class cast. I have tried serveral variations on this code and none seem to work. Im hoping this is a common bug and you can point me towards a solution.

I think I've figured it out. I checked my keywords and some of the keywords I used were unintentionally under another keyword, so it appears that smart collections useingn using child keywords will always include the parent keyword, even if that keyword isn't listed in the Keyword panel. When I moved the wrong children outside the existing parent, the Smart Collection worked properly. Now I have to figure out how the keywords unintentionally became children to other keywords.

Speedgrade CC 2014 becoming increasingly slow while working on a project that was direct linked from Premiere CC.

Speedgrade CC 2014 direct link from Premiere Pro CC 2014. The application is becoming increasingly slow when making any adjustment or just selecting any buttons on screen. While working for and hour on my project it is now bordering unresponsive. In addition it is causing the Finder to become slow and any other applications such as Safari and Mail.
I'm on a Mac Pro5,1 OS 10.8.5, 6-core intel xeon 2.93GHz, 16gb Ram, Ati Radeon HD 5770 and NVIDEA Quadro 4000 cards.
I'm hoping this is just a setting in speed grade and not a bug.

First, Davinci and the Adobe DVA's (digital video apps) utilize resources very differently from each other. That said, your hardware is making me green ...
This is something that should fly on your system, so ... I would definitely suggest my previous thing of running that benchmark testing ... it will tell you how your system runs the Adobe stuff, and indicate if anything could be modified so it would work better. Some people with FAR less a system than you're running fly through a DL session. Even my system with only four "real" cores (8 "logical" ones ... whatever ... ), 16Gb RAM, and a GTX770/4Gb vRAM and multiple internal & eSATA drives to split things up for throughput sustained stuff, has been running pretty smoothly. Even though it wasn't using much of the video card, which screams for many people in the Adobe DVA's. This latest set of improvements has pretty much nearly eliminated Sg using it ... so we'll have to puzzle out WHAT is causing Sg and the other apps to ignore my card when in identical setups it's a real beast.
That's the kind of thing that can drive the engineers up the wall. Some of the systems that have had terrible problems such that users have been on here complaining that "no on could possibly be running "serious professional footage & effects" on a system like theirs, didn't you idiots test it?" ... have received the response ... that Kevin or Al or someone is running a completely identical system to almost all tiny respects ... and is flying with 6k footage running a ton of PrPro & Ae effects then worked heavy in Sg. And coasting at it. Not that they at all challenge that the user's system is nearly unusable at the moment ... but figuring out why on two nearly identical setups it works so differently can be rather tedious with hundreds of thousands of lines of code involved, various plugins, and maybe a 2/3rds moon on the third Tuesday.
Like mine. I know quite a few people use this card on the Adobe apps and it's really flying for them. It's been re-installed twice on mine, Windows and all monitoring systems see it fine, but ... even after multiple installs and CC cleaner attempts and such it's not "seen" properly by any Adobe app. So ... off to run the benchmark to see what all in my system is doing fine ... and if there's any hint as to why that card isn't getting used.
Also ... it would maybe be useful to get Dennis Weinmann or Fran Roig to jump in, maybe get a sample of your project file or info on those LUT's or something, to see if they've got any ideas. Trouble is most of Adobe's staff is on Winter Break for the next week plus.

How to quickly create a test ADAM instance in the QA environment that is a replica of production ADAM but then disconnect it from production.

I have restored from file backup an ADAM instance onto our QA server that was backedup from a production ADAM instance.
The instance functions fine except that for stuff like FSMO roles, it still thinks its connected to the production ADAM instance.
How can I completely disconnect and cut off this restored instance from production?
I never want this replica to ever replicate with produciton again.
This should be a standalone QA ADAM instance for testing only.
The only thing I might want to do is add another QA ADAM server for this instance to replicate with.

When install a new ADAM instance, you have the option to replicate from another ADAM instance. After that, you can configure/delete site and replication information to prevent replication. Please refer to the following article.

I am sure thieves figure out how to use it even with my pass code on. Is there ANY thing else that can b done to track it? Serial number possibly? Please please anyone with info please help!

No, there is no other way to track it. If you have a pass code set and are using iOS 7.x.x then the thieves simply have a bricked iPhone that is useless to them.

As far as i know, you can use a third party iPad photos recovery software to have a try. If i remember correctly, this software has two methods to restore your photos. One is recovering from your iTunes backup, another is recovering from your iPad directly.

If you received a photo stream photo on your phone, save it to your camera roll, then locate the photo in the Photos section of the Photos app, tap the location listed above the photo in Moments and it should show you where it was taken on a map (assuming location services was enabled for the camera on your phone).

HT4262 where can I find AirPort utility 5.6 - my old Airport express module is not supported by Airport Utility 6.1. I was directed by the program to this page, but I can not find that application anywhere on Apples's webpages.

Airport 6.1 does not support my Airport module (the second iteration), and tells me to download Airport Utility 5.6. I can not find it via the directed link from Airport utility 6.1 nor anywhere else on Apple's web site. It is also not on the App store.

To install AirPort Utility 5.6 on OS X Lion, follow these steps:
1. Download AirPort Utility from the Support website > http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1482 Don't open the installer after downloading that.
2. Open Terminal and copy:
cd ~/Downloads && pkgutil --expand ./AirPortUtility56.pkg ~/Downloads/AirPortUtility56 && gunzip -c<./AirPortUtility56/AirPortUtility56Lion.pkg/Payload | sudo tar -C / -xvf - "./Applications/Utilities/AirPort Utility 5.6.app"
3. Open Finder, select Go menu > Go to Folder, type /Applications/Utilities and open "AirPort Utility 5.6", so you will be able to use your AirPort on Lion

I don't know what just happened but I had my iPhone 5 plugged in to my computer and itunes popped up and all this syncing and stuff happened and now all of the stuff that was on my phone is gone and all my old stuff from my 4 is on there!!

Hi. I'm new to the iPhone, but I have had iPods for 5 years or so. I don't know if it works the same, but here's what I know from my iPod experience.
Each iPod is associated with a particular iTunes account. If you plug your device into your computer, it should see your iTunes account and do what ever you have set your iTunes to do when it sees your device (mine is set to sync automatically). If you plug into a different computer, it asks if you want to sync to that iTunes, and if you say yes, it will replace your content with what is in the other iTunes account.
Still, you say it was your own computer that did this to you, so I'm a bit stumped. It sounds like when you had the iPhone 4 you had different content than when you got your iPhone 5. What was the difference? Songs, contacts, photos, apps, etc.? Do you still have the content of your iPhone 5 on your computer? I have only managed my iPhone with my computer, with the exception of downloading a few apps directly, but those apps get placed on my computer when I sync, so I was under the impression that other things that go directly to your phone would also sync, but maybe that's wrong on my part.
You might want to open iTunes on your computer and go to Store>View My Account to make sure you have the correct log-in. Could it be that you made a new Apple ID with the new phone, and your computer is still logged in with your old one?
Please post back if you find a solution, or if you have any new info.

it could be a 4th gen or lower, if the camera dosent stick out, then its a 4g,
however, it could be a 5g (the only model to have siri) it might of been disabled, to enable siri, you have to reset your ipod touch, then when it a says, use siri? tap use siri.
also if you mesure the screen and it is 3.5 inches then it is a 4g or lower and does not have siri. but the 4g has voice control and its offline, and siri cant be used offline.

You need to convert the VOB files in the TS-Folder of the DVD back to DV which iMovie is designed to handle. For that you need mpegStreamclip:
