Find fonts says I'm not logged in to Creative cloud. But I am.

I'm trying to load an illustrator file. It says I'm missing the fonts, and so I try and sync them. However it gives me a little error message "You are not currently signed in to Creative Cloud. Please go to Help-> Sign in and enter your Adobe ID. Application restart is required."
The problem is when I go to that part of the help menu it shows me as being logged in...... If I try and log out it wants to log me out of everything. I closed the program and made sure I had the Type kit turned on. It wasn't. So I turned it back on and restarted illustrator. No good. Multiple restarts have not fixed the issue. any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm sorry you ran into trouble here. You might be seeing a bug in the CoreSync process. Adobe is aware of this issue. If you're on a Mac, I have a fix that might solve it:
1. open the Activity Monitor
2. quit the Creative Cloud application
3. wait a minute or two, then check the activity list for any Creative Cloud processes that are still running. They will have the red cloud icon next to them, and might be named Creative Cloud, Adobe CEF helper, Core Sync.
4. if you find any of these processes, force quit them from the Activity Monitor.
5. restart the Creative Cloud application and see if the fonts sync.
Please give that a try, and let me know how it goes.

    Keep trying to sync Photoshop settings and get the message that Photoshop can't access Creative Cloud. In Photoshop Preferences, under "Sync Settings" it says "not signed in" but in the help menu it  says I am signed in and gives me to option to sign out, which will deactivate my apps. I've trashed Photoshop preferences but no change. The Creative Cloud app says I am signed in (and I had just updated several apps - including Photoshop - before opening Photoshop). Anyone know how I can fix this?

    I'm trying to publish my site from iWeb but the Site Publishing Setting's page keeps saying I'm not logged into Mobileme - and I am.  I've restarted, checked for updates, downloaded the updated iWeb.  Thanks for any insight! 

    Try this:
    go to the System/MobileMe preference pane and log out of MMe.
    login with a bogus username and password like "test" and "test". This clears the caches.
    login with your correct username and password, launch iWeb and try again.

    Do you share your pad with someone else - are you still signed in on their account?
    Then check in settings\restrictions that Apps is not restricted - if all ok go and Open iTunes , select music (can use others) scroll down to bottom of page and tap on your email at left. Tap sign out, then repeat and sign in again.  if signin successful, try again.   If it fails.
    Go to settings\general\reset and select Reset settings, try again.
    If it still fails - Connect to your PC by cable and see if you can download an app from the Store using your PC's iTunes - If you cannot - right click your device at left hand side and select reset warnings, then navigate to Library, Apps and check at bottom of page if any updates/downloads are pending - update\download as necessary.
    if you can download an App using the iTunes store on your PC - select sync whilst still signed in. Try again using your ipad's Store
    Does this resolve your problem?
    If still having problems, in Itunes select Store, then Home page, then using quick links at right select Account.  verify all details are correct and your pad and PC are listed in Authorised devices.
    Sign out of iTunes and close with your device still connected - Power off your device by holding down the power and home buttons together - when red slider appears slide it across to power off.  Re-open iTunes on your PC and under Menu\Store sign in.  power on your iPad and try again.
    If problems still persist - check with customer support that there are no problems with your listed payment method\card restrictions on your store account.

    2. Completely remove iTunes and related components

    2. Make sure your folder names don't contain strange characters

    You may try to follow the steps below:
    1.Close the Creative Cloud application.
    2.Navigate to the OOBE folder.
    Windows: [System drive]:\Users\[user name]\AppData\Local\Adobe\OOBE
    Mac OS: /Users/[user name]/Library/Application Support/Adobe/OOBE folder
    3.Delete the opm.db file.
    4.Launch Creative Cloud.

    I'm sorry that you ran into trouble with this.  Are you the administrative contact on your Creative Cloud team subscription?  The admin user doesn't receive the same set of services as a full seat, so you will have a Typekit Trial plan instead of the Portfolio plan.
    You have the option of upgrading to the Portfolio level, though. If you would like to do that:
    1) sign in at https://typekit.com/login with your Adobe ID and password
    2) visit typekit.com/plans, and select the "upgrade" option underneath Portfolio
    Your Typekit plan upgrade will be billed separately from your Creative Cloud payments. The Portfolio plan is $49.99/year.
