Find mesh AP on WCS or Navigator

Hello,
How can i find, how many mesh AP connected on WCS or Navigator?
Thank you.

From the WCS, you can try running an Advanced Search from the upper right corner of the screen. Use the criteria of category = Access Pints and search by = Outdoor Area, should come up with mesh APs that have been assigned to a outdoor map.
Or if you have a name scheme for your APs, you can try searching by AP name and then using wildcard searches such as %RAP% or %MAP%.

    I see "Add New Window" but..."Add New Tab" button does not exist in the Window -Customize Toolbar any longer, and not on my Navigator toolbar. Where can I find one to put on my Navigator toolbar, please?
    Thanks

    It's the "+" on the Tab bar. You can move it to the Navigation Toolbar if you prefer. When you start Customize, the + moves to the far right end of the Tab bar. You can drag it where you want (see attached image).
    Any luck?

  • AP mesh info in WCS not show bridge links.

    Hi guys,
    I would like to know if any of you following problem has occurred. I have implemented 3 wireless mesh with 1262 AP WLC 5508 v 7.0.116.0 and WCS 7.0.172.0 base lic, all has been running perfect, the problem arises when I want to see on the map graphically bridge links, I have enabled AP Messh info but it not shows the bridge links, in hierarchical Mesh Parent-Child View only shows the RAP. To load the maps we used Campus> Outdoor area> AP.
    I will appreciate any comments.
    Greetings.

    Are you loading 4.0? With WCS 4.x you need to generate a license with the PAK you should have received from Cisco. If you did not receive a PAK, read the following excerpt from the following url:
    Existing Cisco WCS customers that have not received their PAK certificate from Cisco should contact their Cisco sales representative or send an e-mail to the [email protected] alias to notify Cisco that they need their PAK certificate. Cisco will attempt to respond to requests to this alias within 48 hours Monday-Friday 9AM-5PM Pacific Standard Time.

  • Navigating Finder Icon view problem!

    Okay, I have searched without success for an answer for this problem. When navigating through the directory structure in the icon view finder doesn't remember where you came from. Here is an example, say you have a folder that has a few hundred items in it (ex. itunes library folder). In icon view scroll about half way down and then double click on another folder. Okay all find and dandy but when you click on the back button you are back at the beginning of the previous directory and not half way down with the folder you were just in highlighted! Now go back to that same folder you were just in (without pressing forward) or the folder to the left of it, this time instead of clicking back you press "Apple+up arrow" then you go back and see where you came from with the folder highlighted. Makes for a frustrating time navigating through a large directory. Any way to fix this?

    Ok, I think i get what you are saying.
    Your using icon view? (view 1)
    Try Column view (command+3), I find the hierarchical view far more navigable in general, and very useful for large numbers of files/directories, It remembers where you came from, there are just a few inconsistencies like the home, desktop, apps, utilities directories (the ones accessible via key commands) that screw it up. Other than that it's perfect.
    If you don't like that view then you can always set the finder to open folders in new windows (and continue to use icon view)... If the majority of the time you don't want to have finder open folders in new windows, then leave it off and hold command (Apple) when you double click a folder to open it in a new window on that occasion.
    Hope that helps your navigation problems.

  • Understanding the practical implications of the Cairngorm 3 Navigation Library

    Hi there again,
    Based on the discussion from yesterday:
    http://forums.adobe.com/thread/897088?tstart=0
    ... I forgot to mention that I have difficulties to find practical use cases for the Navigation Library. What does the Navigation Library solve when it will be used in the development architecture? Nothing explicit seems to be mentioned about it in your documentation:
    http://sourceforge.net/adobe/cairngorm/wiki/HowToUseCairngormNavigation/
    When speaking in theory I also have the concern that the Navigation Library is breaking the separation of concern between the Presentation Layer and the Domain Layer (when using the Domain Driven Design language):
    http://sourceforge.net/adobe/cairngorm/wiki/UnderstandingCairngorm/
    ... or the separation of concern between the View Layer and the Data Layer (when using my language):
    http://code.google.com/p/masuland/wiki/NanoarchitectureMVCb
    Practically speaking again, I usually store the application state (or the waypoints/landmarks of the application) in the Application Model ... see:
         public class AppModel
              // States
              [Publish(scope='appModel', objectId='loginBoxState')]
              public var loginBoxState:String;
              [Publish(scope='appModel', objectId='appStackState')]
              public var appStackState:String;
              [Publish(scope='appModel', objectId='settingsBoxState')]
              public var settingsBoxState:String;
    For more information please check out these two versions:

    ... of my Login Example:
    http://code.google.com/p/masuland/wiki/LoginExample
    I hope you can help me clarify this!
    Thank you,
    masu

    I managed to reproduce this issue in the NavigationParsleyProject. After the NavigationParsleySample1 application is started the active view is content.dashboard.nested.child1. However if you try to navigate to content.tasks.timetracking view, it will redirect you to content.tasks.expenses view which is the first child in the content.tasks ViewStack. All Timetracking view's enter and exit handlers as well as interceptors will be executed though.
    After I commented out the metadata for all event handlers and both interceptors in TimeTrackingPM class, I was successfully navigated to the content.tasks.timetracking view.
    This issue occurs only once and I believe it has something to do with the deferred instantiation. I tried to debug the source of the navigation library but haven't had any success yet.

  • How do i make a navigation bar for all pages

    Hi friends !
    I want the same navigation bar to appear on all the web pages of my website. (As these are the common things that all the webpages will have). But I didn't find any option to use the navigation bar as a template.
    Will I have to copy and paste the same navigation bar on all the pages (let's say 50 to 60 pages, I will have). It will be very tiresome and tedious job to do.
    And also if I make even a minor change in the navigation bar then I will have to change it in all 50-60 pages.
    What should I do ?
    Please help me in this regard.
    Imagine a 100 or 200 page site, perfectly functioning and on the air. Then, one day, you need to add or delete some button, or simply change a link. You need to change the menubar in ALL 200 pages, and then re-publish them all. Quite a work, ah ?
    Regards,
    Jtechmiami

    Although Dreamweaver Templates and Library items are suitable tools for doing this, they're tedious and cumbersome at best. They get old very quickly.
    By far the most efficient method is to set your navigation bar up as a Server Side Include (SSI).
    SSIs are not Dreamweaver specific, they're a general web technology available on any server.
    A good primer here
    http://www.projectseven.com/products/menusystems/pmm2/ug-examples/includes/index.htm
    Do you already have a hosting account? Does it have PHP available?

    Not with SSIs. Simple sitewide menu updates take a few seconds.
    You edit a single text file locally (either button labels or a CSS rule for styling the button), upload (1-2 seconds) and every page on the site is instantly updated.
    Much better than DW Templates.

  • Navigation Tag Library JSP Example?

    Hi All,
    I am trying to follow "Top-Level Navigation iView" example from "SAP NetWeaver Developer's Guide".
    In help they have given JSPCode but have not mentioned in which directory I have to make JSP file and in "portalapp.xml" what type of entry I have to write in it. i.e. "<component>, <property>".
    I need to know which entry I have to make in "Portalapp.xml" for JSP component and under which directory(PORTAL-INF) I have to made JSP file.
    Please let me know where I can find step by step instruction for Navigation iView example.
    I will award full points to useful answer.
    Thanks in Advance
    Ashish.

    Hi Mr.Chowdary,
    Thanks for your reply and step by step instruction. I followed steps as you describe.  I have one question about "portalapp.xml"
    Your answer is really helped me.
    I go through "portalapp.xml" my question is regarding <components> element. As describe in <component-config> <property name="ClassName" value="com.sap.portal.navigation.LightTopLevelNavigation"/>
    There is no "LightTopLevelNavigation.java" file. As per my under standing there should be a java file with name "LightTopLevelNavigation.java" extended from "AbstractPortalComponent" class and keep it under "src.core" or "src.api" folder.
    To define a component you should have related java file. please correct me if I am wrong or explain me what is the significant of <component> element when you do not have any "JAVA" file with LightTopLevelNavigation.java
    Please guide me as I am new to EP.
    <components>
        <component name="LightTopLevelNavigation">
          <component-config>
            <property name="ClassName" value="com.sap.portal.navigation.LightTopLevelNavigation"/>
            <property name="SafetyLevel" value="no_safety"/>
          </component-config>
          <component-profile>
            <property name="NavigationTagLibrary" value="/SERVICE/com.sap.portal.navigation.navigationtaglibrary/taglib/TagLibrary.tld"/>
            <property name="EPCFLevel" value="0"/>
            <property name="com.sap.portal.iview.ShowTray" value="false"/>
            <property name="com.sap.portal.reserved.iview.IsolationMode" value="EMBEDDED"/>
            <property name="NumOfDisplayLevels" value="2">
              <property name="category" value="Navigation"/>
              <property name="plainDescription" value="Number of Display Levels"/>
              <property name="longDescription" value="Specifies the number of levels displayed in the light top-level navigation"/>
            </property>
          </component-profile>
        </component>
      </components>
    Thanks for your help and guidence. Full points will be awarded once my doubts are cleared.

  • ITunes Can't find Some Songs?

    Hey guys - I had my Ext HD damaged and had to get a new one. I had my library and everything else important backed up (I keep all files on an ext HD to keep my computer HD free of crap). I didn't lose anything. When I opened iTunes and directed it to my new location it failed to find about 1/3 of my library. It looks like all of my data including ratings, play counts, etc are all there. The only issue is when I get to a song it can't find I have to manually direct it back to that file. What confuses me is it had no problem with songs in the same album, so they are in the same file. It seems very arbitrary as to what it did and did not locate.
    My question is, I can go through each song individually and point iTunes towards it. There has to be a way to do this in bulk. Anyone have an idea? There seems to be no problem with the library, files, folders, etc.
    Thanks for the help.

    I had the exact same problem. My iTunes library was on an external drive. It was working just fine. Then there were some problems with the external drive, so I got a new external drive and loaded the entire iTunes library onto it.
    I used iTunes preferences to direct it to the iTunes folder on the new external drive. Then I pressed the Option key while starting up iTunes to also redirect it to the iTunes folder on the external because (for reasons I can't fathom) setting the folder location in preferences wasn't enough.
    I have the same problem as zblom (original poster) - but only with about 5% of the songs in my library. About 95% of my songs have no problem. But there's an exclamation point next to about 5% of them, and when I try to play them, iTunes says it can't find the file. I've navigated my way to a few of the songs and then iTunes can find it. But I don't want to do that for about 300 songs - that would take hours.
    Any ideas what causes this? And (more importantly) any suggestions for how to get iTunes to recognize the location of those songs with the exclamation points?

  • Oracle Apps Lot Genealogy Navigator Window Problem

    Hi,
    I don't know much about the Oracle Apps Inventory module so please bear with me on this one. We are currently on R11.5.10.2 and I am trying to get lot drilldown in the lot genealogy navigator window. However, when I enter the lot no./item no. and click on Find, it opens the lot genealogy navigator window but does not show anything under the lot genealogy node. Also,when I click on the plus sign it opens the lot details window without any info.
    I know that the lot no. is valid because when all the other users open the lot genealogy using the same lot no. they are able to see the lot and its details in the lot details window. So, please let me know whether there is some setting that might be missing in my profile or is it due to some other reason.
    -Thanks in advance.

    Hi,
    Yes runWizard.sh points to the correct path - it calls the jre, but it is the jre that hangs
    Now I have found out why.... Having tried to run the same rapidwiz on a different version of Linux, I got a glibc2 error, so what I did was run thew following on my Red Hat 7.1:
    $ export LD_ASSUME_KERNEL=2.2.5
    $ cd /usr/i386-glibc21-linux/bin
    $ ./i386-glibc21-linux-env.sh
    And now rapidwiz works!
    Thanks for looking at the problem

  • How to use Navigational attributes in BEx

    Hi experts,
    I have searched many threads regarding navigational attributes in BEX.
    But unable to find any info.
    How the navigational attributes are used in BEx query designer.
    What is the difference between characteristics and Nav attr in Query designer.
    Every one n saying  Nav attr are used for drill down purpose.
    What exactly is this drill down .
    Please send me any related documents also.
    Please answer me.
    Thanks in advance
    Sundar

    Hi,
    Characteristic attributes can be converted into navigation attributes. They can be selected in the query in exactly the same way as the characteristics for an InfoCube. In this case, a new edge/dimension is added to the InfoCube. During the data selection for the query, the data manager connects the InfoProvider and the master data table (u2018joinu2019) in order to fill the Query.
    Navigational attribute is like any other master data attribute except that we can navigate (filter, drill down and selection) in reports on this characteristic.
    Drilldown means after you executed the query , you want to see further detailed data with particular combination ,
    in that case you navigate further or do restiction that is drilldown.
    If you restict a navigational attribute in Query , then it behaves like a normal characteristic and not as a navigation attribute.

  • Custom color for navigation bar

    I am struggling to find a way to make my navigation bar color different that supported colors.
    SDK supports default style i.e. blue, black and black opaque. I know it is possible cause there so many apps doing so. For example midomi.
    I have searched this forum already but haven't found working solution. If anybody knows how to do it would be grateful if he points me to the solution.

  • Toplink-Map disappeared in Applications Navigator

    Hi,
    I can no longer find the toplinkmap in the applications navigator. This presumably happened when i changed the database connection in the sessions.xml from a native connection to a j2ee-datasource. The *.mwp-File is physically still there, 'Search in Files' also finds occurences of strings in it, but when double-clicking the according resultitem only a pane with a close-icon shows up. So for some reason jDeveloper ignores the presence of the toplink map. The application itself works fine, but i can no longer inspect or change the toplink map, e.g. can not add/remove queries to/from it.
    Any idea someone? Thanks,
    Magnus

    I fixed it myself by comparing the content of the jpr-File with that one of a 'working' Project.

  • Click wheel navigation difficulty - any tips?

    I've been gifted a 160gB iPod Classic & I'm finding the click wheel for navigation in menus (and to playlists etc.) very difficult. The documentation says to scroll lightly but that doesn't do anything. I've been using other non-Apple touchscreen devices for MP3s for more than a decade & I'm finding being confined to the iPod navigation buttons quite difficult and frustrating. Navigation gets even worse in my armband carry case with the additional plastic overlay. I don't want to have to take it out of the protective case whenever I need to navigate.
    The other issue is, when I use the click wheel to navigate in menus it simultaneously moves me around in the songs--I want the wheel to only do one thing at a time.

    It sounds like you are applying pressure (even slight) by pushing the click wheel when trying to adjust volume. Because of this the ipod is moving back one screen. To adjust volume you don't need to push at all. Just run your finger lightly clockwise or counter clockwise to adjust the volume.
    Hope that helps.
