Find my ipad is enabled in settings, however, I receive an email saying "Find My iPhone has been disabled on Richard's iPad".

I have just done a reset on my ipad. In the settings "find my ipad " is enabled. I received an email saying "Find My iPhone has been disabled on Richard's iPad."  I went back into settings and confirmed that find my iphone is enabled. How do I correct this?

If you login to your account on http://www.icloud.com is the iPad listed in the Find My iPhone part of your account ? If not then try toggling it 'off' and back 'on' on your iPad
