Find My iPhone app changed account after upgrade to IOS7.
We have 4 iPhones, and we had created a separate iCloud account for the Find My iPhone app.
After Upgrading to IOS7, my iPhones Find My iPhone app is now tied to my other iCloud account, and will not allow me to change it back. What's up with this?
Define "locked".

The IOS 6 updates for findmy iphone does not work as well as IOS 5 app. It will not let you update your location when you tap the refresh arrow. So tired of it telling me that my iphone is offline when it is never off. The IOS 5 was great and it worked so much better then the IOS 6. Not only have find my iphone app changed but all my apps changed when I downloaded the IOS 6 update. If I knew that I would not get the same apps back as they are now, I would put my iphone back to factory settings. But my fast updates on my computer are IOS 6.

Iphone 4s doesn't charge after upgrade to ios7
My iphone 4s stopped charing after upgrade to ios7. I thought this was caused by dirty charging port ,, but it isn't.
I connect to my wall charger and it starts charging, but after a couple minutes it stops. The same issue when connected to my work PC. It only charges when connected to my mac !
I tried several home chargers and the problem remains the same.
I have this issue on both our household iphone 4s's ,!
Help this is terrible and my battery survives half a day now !Same issue...ios7 upgrade...battery wouldn't hold charge...now it is dead...phone will not turn on or reset...
When plugged into a Mac for 2 hours, with the original USB cord, screen is blank...when pressing the sleep button, I get a picture of a battery with a tiny sliver of red...but not able to turn on. -
i lost my iphone4 yesterday..i have find my iphone apps in there and its updated to IOS 5. i wonder if they would be able to still access my accounts in there after i remote locked it.? its offline whenever i checked till now.. im wonderin if ist safe coz all my emails are there and all personal info..i hope someone could answer me..i reported to the police the ist step..coz when it happened ..policemen are there..then i went to the nearest MAC center and tried to track it..but its offline..so they asked me if i want to remote lock it..then i did...which i think the mcreason why i cant track my phone beacause its locked?? or not until they connect to wifi or 3g but its unabling them because i locked it..?
but when i do remote wipe ..it will erase everything in there and i cant track down the phone anyomore?

I cannot find my other iDevices' battery percentages through using 'Find my iPhone' app in iPhone 5 after iOS7 upgrade.
Before iOS7, I used to check my devices battery percentages and charging status
on 'Find iPhone' app. It showed battery charging or not by lightening emoticon something
on up-right corner of their display.
It can check only iCloud desktop website now.
Green battery icon means 'charging now'

Try closing the App Store app via the iPad's taskbar and then do a soft-reset and see if you can install it after the iPad has restarted. To close the App Store : double-click the home button to open the taskbar, and then swipe or drag the App Store app's screen from there up and off the top of the screen to close it, and click the home button to close the taskbar.
Soft-reset : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot. -

Unless you deleted it from your Apple ID account the phone will remain locked to your Apple ID, so unless someone who has your phone knows your Apple ID and password the phone is useless to them.

Check Settings > General > Restrictions, and check out Contacts toward the bottom under the privacy restrictions.
That sounds like the probable cause you cannot add contacts.
Regarding the iCloud behavior, that sounds like it got huge (35,000) because of incorporating other contacts (from social media, perhaps). Also contacts sync has nothing to do with iCloud behavior. The whole idea of keeping your contacts in the cloud is that once you change them on one device, they change everywhere. Specific syncs are not relevant. -

I have a question regarding Icloud and unlinking an Icloud account from a device such as an iphone. If the iphone device is removed from the Find my Iphone app in Icloud, does this mean that it is unlinked/removed from the account after the account is removed manually in the icloud settings of the phone? Or in the case of resetting the phone will it become icloud locked still? You can't buy another one. You have to reuse one of the accounts previously set up on your phone, or create a new one to use on another iOS device (running iOS 5 or higher) or Mac (running OS X 10.7.2 or higher), if you have one.

You need to use the Find My iPhone app (in the itunes store - free). When invoking it on a device, you enter the ID password of the account the lost device is connected to. You can also use a computer's browser and log into icloud.com.

Unfortunately, so far as I am aware you cannot change this tone. I must admit I don't fully understand your problem, I've tried it myself and can hear it from some distance away. -
Hello, someone stole my sons IPhone today in his gym class. I have the "find my iphone app" on my phone BUT he is not a listed device. I went into his itunes account and downloaded the "find my iphone app" app under his account. When I try to log into "find my iphone" under his name on my device I get an error msg involving icloud......he is MUCH better at this stuff then I am BUT he is in school and now I need to figure out how to use the "find my iphone app". PLEASE HELP
It doesn't matter whick account you use to download the app.
You have to sign into the app (or iCloud.com from a web browser on your computer) with his Apple ID & password.
Find My iPhone will only work if it was enabled in the iCloud settings on the device and it was powered on with a connection to the internet -
