Find my iphone... does it find it from the last back up?

I lost my phone today and when I used the find my iphone tool, it says it is somewhere in my home, but I have searched high and low.. to no avail. The device has nto been backed up in months, becuase theres to much data; does it work from the last time i backed it up, or does that not amke a difference

That backup function of iCloud and the Find My iPhone feature are two seperate features and have absolutely no effect on each other. If you are able to locate the device, that means it is currently on and you should be able to use the 'Play a Sound' feature form the Find My iPhone App or icloud.com/find and it will make a very loud annoying alert just for situations like yours, even if the iPhone is on silent.

As far as i know, you can use a third party iPad photos recovery software to have a try. If i remember correctly, this software has two methods to restore your photos. One is recovering from your iTunes backup, another is recovering from your iPad directly.

You should transfer any purchases from iphone regularly: File>Transfer Purchases , if they fail to be transferred when you sync.
You buy one and only one download. It is your responsibility to move/copy/backup your purchases.
You can try contacting itunes support and asking for an exception, but they are under no obligation to allow.

The built in backup to disc feature was removed from iTunes several builds ago. Either start a new spanning disc set with 3rd party software or switch to a more reliable process backing up to a secondary hard drive or shared network folder with the method in this User Tip.

Can i restore my phone from the last back up after settingit up as a new iphone

I have never activated time machine and my entire iPhoto library is missing. How can I restore the library from the last back up??

I am using a MacBook Pro version 10.7.5.
Ive just noticed my entire iPhoto library is missing except for tonights last sync.
I have never activated Time Machine. I am worried if i activate it now, i would have no chance of retrieving my iPhoto library.
Can i restore the iPhoto library from the laptops memory? Or have i clicked the wrong thing while syncing, with no chance of seeing my life again?

I was distracted at the time and have forgotten but I thought it was something like "are you sure you would like to replace all photos on this divise for the ones in your iPhoto library" I was confident as both the comp and my phone have been together for years now.
Im questioning wether the iPhoto program had its own problem before tonights sync. Syncing photos is something i would do regularly without problems, but I've had about a six month break.
Luckily i have made some folders and copied photos out of the iPhoto program. iPhoto was my default photo program and had so many photos from my travelling.
Also I remembered Facebook syncs photos privately, I trying to go way back in time to see if there are any i can save there.
I respect your honesty, if you believe there is no way i can get the program back to normal just say so.

No, however your next backup will not contain the photo as it is no longer on your phone (and iCloud only saves approx. 3 older backups so the one containing the photo will eventually no longer be available). Also, a word of caution...it seems like many users end up losing some or all of their photos when restoring to their iCloud backup. To be safe, don't rely on the backup but instead import your photos (and videos) to your computer, as described here: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4083.

I just got an iPhone 5s, and I restored from a previous back up (mistake) and now I can't restore the phone to start again without "turning off the find my iphone setting" but it's using an old email address as the icloud login, which i don't have a password to / never used for an icloud account. I have gone and changed my settings to a different email on my icloud / apple ID but on my phone it won't let me change the email address for icloud, it's greyed over and keeps trying to verify?

If you mean that Find My Phone is asking for a password to a different Apple ID to your current Apple ID.
This feature has been introduced to make stolen phones useless to those that have stolen them.
However it can also arise when the user has changed their Apple ID details with Apple and not made the same changes to their iCloud account/Find My Phone on their device before upgrading to iOS 7, or if you restore from a previous back up made before you changed your details.
The only solution is to change your Apple ID back to its previous state with Apple at My Apple ID using your current password, you don’t need access to this address if it’s previously been used with your Apple ID, once you have saved these details enter the password as requested on your device and then turn off "find my phone" and delete the account from your device.
You should then change your Apple ID back to its current state, save it once again and then log back in using your current Apple ID. Finally, turn "find my phone" back on once again.

For voice memos, I have include voice memos when syncing selected under the Music tab for my iPhone sync preferences with iTunes which transfers voice memos from my iPhone to my iTunes library when syncing.

How Can I Remove the Finder Icon From the Dock?

Hi! Can someone tell me how to remove the Finder icon from the dock? I don't even care if Finder quits. I just want it removed from the dock. I really don't care if I can't get to my files. Please help.

Start by going to your core services, (/system/library/coreservices). You can do this by pressing Shift+Cmd+G and then paste (/system/library/coreservices), without parentheses.
After doing this, find Dock.app, right click, show package contents. This doesn't contain the icons on your dock, just finder and trash.
After that, move all finder services to the desktop, and then erase them from the core services folder. At this point it will prompt you to put in your password, do so.
Next you'll want to open terminal and type 'killall dock' or, you could restart your computer.
This should remove the finder icon from your dock, while still giving you access to it from your desktop.

I am in CU2, i have created my project, set the right responsibility in Project property panel of my Jdeveveoper.
When i run the first page all is ok, but if i click on a h-grid link , i receive the following error:
"Your system has not been properly set up. The system cannot find information from the FND_FORM_FUNCTIONS table which is needed for this process. Please consult your System Administrator for further assistance."
This happens only if i launch the custom from jdeveloper. On the Applications, the custom works fine.
Any idea about the error?

I can actually find out from the username what machine they have because there is a field called the wWWHomePage that gets populated with the computer name
how do I do that?
Also I have a list of email addresses. How do I find the username from the list of email addresses ?
