Find My iPhone won't work from safari

Hello,
I'm trying to use "Find My iPhone" from safari 5.0 an MacOS X 10.6.3, but It doesn't work.
The iPhone localization works fine, but if I try to use the "Display a Message" button, when I push the send button I get an alert window saying: "Your Find My iPhone session has expired. For security reasons, you have been automatically logged out of Find My iPhone. Your last action was not completed. Log in and try again. MobileMe requires you to log in to Find My iPhone every 15 minutes." and then I'm asked endlessly to login.
I have emptied the cache and reset safari, but with no success for Find My iPhone.
All works fine, instead, if I use Firefox.
Moreover, If I switch user (to root) then "Find my Iphone" works fine from safari. But the installed plugins are the same for the two users. There are no plugins in "~/Library/Internet Plugins".
What's the matter?

MobileMe / Find My iPhone *is not a plugin.*

Okay,
I was showing a friend how cool "find my iphone" is and used the "Play Sound or Send Message" button to show her how it could find my iPad. A few seconds later the iPad starts beeping in my backpack. I open it up expecting to see a message "Oops, left my iPad at coffee shop, please call me at ______", but instead saw "Enter Passcode" box, which appears to cover the message I sent.
If I "cancel" the "enter passcode" box, I can see the message, but what with all the loud radar sounds I don't know that someone picking it up for the first time would think to do that. Is this the way it is supposed to work? What is the point in being able to send a message to a stranger who won't be able to read it because s/he doesn't know my passcode, and probably won't think to "cancel" the passcode box so s/he can see the hidden message behind it?

I have checked all of these settings and they are turned on. I think it must have something to do with iCloud...maybe there is a conflict in the account settings?

Just now found out both my iphone and my wife's (which was stolen last night) can't be located using Mobile Me (and the app "find iphone"). It worked great when I set it up - that was while the phones used OS 4.2 - I upgraded to the 4.3 the last time I synced to my iTunes account... Never thought of checking to see if the MobileMe account was enabled (why should I have to...) The account must have been deleted when I upgraded. I didnt realize tht until last night when I tried to use the locate feature, it found both of my kid's iPod touch's, but did not locate either iPhone. Now I re-install, it shows as "ON" but yet neither phone can be located...
Very Frustrating especially that her phone was stolen - I thought great Ill just find out where it is, report it...

Try again - go to the Apple store to do the download, opt to save rather than install. Not sure what computer you have, on a PC go to the downloads folder and click on the iTunes exe file and then install it.
If that does not work then you will need to uninstall all Apple components and reinstall. If you do have to do this, follow the instructions in this support document to the letter as the order of deletion is important.

The app downloads fine, but when I try to sign in with my valid Apple ID and password, it gives me the following message: "The Apple ID or password you entered is incorrect."

The above page will give you all the information you require to set up find my iphone!
Make sure you enable location services with in settings, as well as the find my iphone option is turned on in the iphone by going to settings> iCloud> find my iPhone and flip it to on. It may take a few moments to kick in, but eventually that should work!
You also want to make sure your Apple ID is verified! Basically, if it is the Apple ID account you used for iCloud, you want to make sure you went to the verification Email, and followed the instructions. If your Apple ID is not verified, it will give you some hassle in the future! If you are not sure if it is verified, you can go to :
appleid.apple.com
Than go to the "Find out" section, type in your info, and it will send you the verification email!

If you can't install or update Flash, follow these instructions.
If you have installed the latest version of Flash, please take each of the following steps that you haven't already tried. After each step, relaunch Safari and test.

Back up all data before making any changes.

You might have to log out or restart the computer before a Flash update takes effect.

Firefox was already loaded on my macbook pro but won't work??

Firefox doesn't come preloaded on new Mac's.
So you must have gotten this machine used and the person set up Firefox with a proxy amongst other "tweaks" that your not aware of, possibly even remote access to your machine.
If this is a used machine you bought, ideally it would be best to backup any files you have to a external drive, c boot off the installer disk the other person should have given you and use Disk Utility > Erase > Zero and format the drive HFS+ Journaled. Quit and install OS X and start with a fresh machine.
If you don't have the disk, a $29 Snow Leopard install disk is avaialble from Apple (no iLife programs, sold seperatly) which you can do the same as above.
If you don't want to do this, then delete Firefox and it's Library > Application Support > Firefox folder and reinstall it fresh from Mozilla.
Just reinstalling Firefox alone doesn't work, the support files need to be trashed as well.

Yes, but they are different firms and O2 Ireland sell locked phones as far as I know so the german sim is not meant to work.
From Apples site O2 Eire can unlock but not sure how well that would work if you are back in Germany now, as it usually needs to be active in the carriers country on their network.

Connect the phone directly to the computer, not a hub.
Disconnect all other USB devices except keyboard and mouse.
Disable your firewall
Disable your antivirus
In iTunes if it recognizes the phone click "Restore"
If it doesn't recognize the phone:
Disconnect the phone from the phone end, leave the USB cable plugged into the computer
Hold the HOME and SLEEP buttons until the screen turns black, excactly 10 seconds, then release the SLEEP but continue holding the HOME (If an Apple logo appears you have held SLEEP too long; do it over)
While holding HOME connect the cable to the phone
As soon as iTunes recognizes the phone release the HOME button and it should restore.
If neither procedure works note the exact error message and post it.

As above, Find my iPhone won't see my Mac's it will see my Iphone and Ipad but for some reason it will not see the Macs. Yes they are enabled all I get on the F M Ip screen is no location. Do I have to switch on location services somewhere and if so where.

I have to turn "airplane mode on and off" to make the "find my iphone" work each time I start my iphone. But it only lasts 30 minutes or so. (with the iphone being switched on continuously) Then FMiP will stop working until I repeat turning on and off the airplane mode again. This sequence needs to be repeated after each 30 minutes or so.
Is there any fix available for this problem? A friend said Apple has issued iphone software v 3.3 in Japan but I cannot find it here in Canada.

They are different problems because I doubt that iTunes has been able to modify Mail, that has nothing to do with iTunes.
As you are running 10.7.4, download and install OS X 10.7.5, the most recent Lion version > http://support.apple.com/kb/dl1582 After installing the update, you should be able to run Mail

What do you mean by Find my iPhone "isn't working?" As long as you enabled it, even if it's offline, you can go to http://icloud.com/find and remote lock or erase it. The actions will take effect when/if the phone comes online. That is the best you can do.

Suddenly all movies won't work in Safari

Suddenly all quicktime or flash movies won't work in Safari. Just has the Quicktime logo with a question mark in the middle. I have the latest browser for Panther. What's the deal? It's a bit annoying seeing as I make films myself and can't test my uploads to You tube and so on. Help! Please.

Same problem here. My extended problem is every time I re-install Flash Player, the movies work fine - UNTIL I need to exit Safari or shut down. When I bring it up again, the Question Mark is back. Also when I repair permissions the page just fills up with Flash Player Repairs. Looking for a pattern, I am now repairing permissions each time I re-install and my G4 iBook AND Intel duo does the same extensive repairs with each install. Help?
