Find Parralelizable Loop (comportement ???)

Voici un comportement assez étrange avec la fonction "Find Parralelizable Loop"
Un VI tout simple (je l'ai réduit au minimum)

Que se passe-t-il ?

Si le code dans la structure disable est OFF (code grisé) ... pas de problème !
"Find Parralelizable Loop" trouve UNE structure For ... non paralélisable. (parfait)
Resultat correct
b) !!
Placez "Enable" dans la structure disable ... pour que le code grisé devienne actif.
A ce moment là ... "Find parralelizable Loop" me trouve DEUX boucles For ... mais me signale qu'il n'a plus la Reference de la 2eme.
Au passage, il me signale que cette 2eme For (dont il n'a plus la référence) ... est parralélisable.
comme ceci : (voici le message reçu après avoir rendu le code grisé "enable")
Il me semble que je sens un petit cancrelat vilain ici, non ?
J'ai reconstruit le VI plusieurs fois ... histoire d'éliminer un "insane" .... mais j'ai toujours le même résultat.
Qu'en pensent les Pros ?

comme le dit Ouadji, le noeud PCRE n'est pas une primitive LabVIEW, c'est un XNode
hmm, me semblait bien ... j'ai touché la fonction sur mon écran ... j'ai senti un truc, me suis dit ... "ça" sent le XNode.
oui, ça ne justifie pas, mais en effet ça explique.
Le code de "Find Parralelizable Loop" est certainement un code recursif.
il faudrait que ce code ne scanne pas les "xnode natif" ... (car cela m'intéresserai qu'il scanne quand même mes xnode perso)
difficile .... LV au départ d'un xnode génère du code ... comment se rendre compte que que le code provient d'un xnode (?)
Bien entendu, cela est "toujours" possible ... mais pas en 2min avec 2 lignes de codes supplémentaires (dans LV)
mais ... ce n'est pas un bug ... ce comportment se reproduira avec tout xnode natif comportant au moins une For.

you can also find it in your "ulitilty" folder located in the Applications folder.
I assume you have Logic installed or you'd be posting in the GB forum.

I can't find converted apple loops in the loop browser within Logic pro 7

Hello There.
I've cereated some apple loops with the apple loops utility. unfortunately I am unable to find them in the loop browser within Logic pro 7.2.1.
I've scaned them using the project manager " so Logic knows about them"
but still didn't reflect in the loop browser.
Is this the normal behavior or what am I doing wrong.
I hope I am doing something wrong, as to me the main feature of the loop browser is to be able to audition the loops quckly at the song tempo.

Just drop them on the Loop Browser and the rest should be taken care of.

How do I find background music loops on Captivate 7?

I'd like to put background music in, but can't find it on Captivate 7 AND can't import loops from Garage band. Either one would work.

Thanks, Bob, you hear what I'm asking. I've done that and when I do the menu I get displays my iTunes - and then only songs I've saved there that I haven't bought. I can see stuff I've made on Garage Band, but that's all greyed out - I can't access it.
What I'd like to get is the dialogue box with the music loops provided by captivate. Any ideas?

Finder not able to view folders and files on EHD after updating to OS X 10.9.4

I can see still see 'Hitachi' in the 'Devices' Sidebar, but I am not able to view folders and files on this Hitachi XL2000 2TB FAT32 Hard Drive (EHD) that is USB connected to the iMac below.
Late 2013 Apple iMac (27-inch Display 2560 x 1440), 3.4GHz Quad-core Intel Core i5, Turbo Boost up to 3.8GHz, 8GB 1600MHz DDR3 SDRAM - 2X4GB, 512GB Flash Storage, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 775M 2GB GDDR5, Magic Trackpad, Apple Wireless Keyboard and OS X 10.9.4 Mavericks
All was fine until I updated from OS X 10.9.3 to 10.9.4 earlier this week, so now when I double-click on 'Hitachi' it just loads and loads with nothing happening and never displays the folder and file contents of the EHD.
Also, confirmed that Hitachi EHD has been removed from Spotlight indexing per System Preferences > Privacy > + > Hitachi and it was so this does not seem to be an indexing issue.
I have used OnyX and Apple Disk Utilities unsuccessfully to try and fix this problem.
Interestingly, Backblaze online backup still sees the EHD and connecting this EHD to a Win 8.1 PC also sees the EHD.
Further, I ran the commands below in 'Terminal' to make sure the drive was visible and got the following results which shows that the EHD is not hidden.

Finally, I installed XtraFinder and am still not able to see the contents of the EHD, but when I installed OmniDiskSweeper I can navigate the EHD folder tree with no problems and can see the contents of the EHD, but when I try and open up a file it opens Finder which loads and loads and nothing happens.

Apple Support was quite helpful, but in the end I will wait to do a clean install of OS X Yosemite which is due in the Fall and not try and fix OS X 10.9.4 Mavericks.
It turns out that I run backups on my '/Users/john/Library' and the size of this folder before the 10.9.4 update was 1.07 GB and after the update it is 806.9 MB which is baffling, but in the end all of these problems should be resolved with a clean install of OS X Yosemite.
One lesson learned for the future is that I will wait on installing an update until it has been in the wild for awhile as a quick OS X Mavericks Finder Problem search and similar searches show there could be an issue.

Can't find my custom loop, can't Save as archive, but the song plays?

Hey guys. In October I made my first "real" attempt at a song in GarageBand. I recorded the bass and guitar with my Digitech GNX3000. I made my drum loops from scratch with my mouse. I just chose the kit and clicked the little squares on the grid for timing. I named them all AlanCustomX (where X described it).
I just got a MacBook and I'm moving all of my data from this old G4 tower. I copied over my song and the drum loops didn't work. That's okay, I figured it was in the Apple Library somewhere. I started up GarageBand and hit play on the G4 and my drum pattern was working, but the library said nothing was found (I fiddled with Final Cut Express a few weeks ago and I guess Soundtrack screwed it up). I followed the steps found in this forum to get them working again.
Throughout my search for the Apple loops in various Library folders, I never found my drum loops. There's a couple folders for User Loops but they're empty. That's weird, because when I play the song the drum loops are still in the song. After rebuilding the loop library, I still can't Save As and do an Archive ("to work on another Mac")!
I looked "inside" the song's .band file and it's only got the .aif files from my guitar.
Where does iTunes store custom loops? Why can't a archive-save my file?

Yes. And using the Archive feature should force any loops not within your project (Loops dropped in from the browser) to be copied and stored within it.
Is there a way I can export my green loops to the
GarageBand Library and therefore put them on the filesystem?
The Archive is supposed to take care of this.
The other, long, way around might be to add each of your edited loops to the Browser, find them on your hard drive, copy them to the other computer, and drop them into GB's Browser there. I'm not positive GB would find them when you opened your project there, but that's the only other course of action I can think of at the moment.
Personally, I'd be trying to figure out why an Archived project wasn't working properly before anything else. That could be a sign of something bad and I'd want to find IT before it found me.

Anyone know where I can find some basic loops for folk rhythms?

I'm looking for some loops, mainly for training of other musicians, for folk rythms such as such as dotted hornpipe, various jigs, Schottische, etc? Although I've been playing thes all my life, I find it hard to translate these onto Logic loops so any help would be much appreciated.

Are you talking about something that you leave on while typing or just something to go between the keyboard and display when you shut your MB?
If it is the latter, the LSP from OWC fit perfectly. I know it says for PBs, but I have that one and it covers from the botton of the hinge on top to just above the bottom of the trackpad button.

Where can I find more extended loop/song examples?

In Garageband there are song examples made from the loops which last up to a minute which are quite inspiring to listen to. They are usually by genre and there are examples of rock, downtempo etc. Does anyone know where I can find more examples like this?

Please help me find my missing loop!

I have a song I made a while ago that wants to load a loop named "*WM Latin Shaker.aif*", but I can't find it anywhere. It's driving me nuts, I really want to work with that piece.
Since I made the song with GB I've installed Logic Express then Logic Pro, so I would think I should have everything, but this puppy is nowhere to be found. Couple of other loops have gone missing on me, too. Yarg.
Can anyone tell me where this might have come from originally? I fear it may have been in one of the now-unavailable Jam Pack samplers that used to be up on .Mac, which I have not kept. Or maybe it's on an earlier version of GB, the disk of which I can still dig up. So it may be somewhere on my drive or in my apartment and I would dearly love to track it down!

Yeah, I figured the "WM" prefix was from its name in a sampler pack (all of which I definitely did download once) but there's nothing called "Latin Shaker" in the full World Music pack (or what came with Logic Pro 8, which I assume is the same collection). The loop may be in there somewhere, under another name, but even if it is, I can only hear what I'm seeking in a bounced-down stereo recording and it's difficult to perceptually isolate that one loop out in a fairly heavily layered piece. Which would make it hard for me to recognize even if I found it! I'm kicking myself right now for making a point of purging my loop collection of the sampler stuff once I got the whole shebang with Logic.
Do you (or anyone else) know if the same loops have worn different names in different versions of the jam packs? If so, any chance there's a reference doc somewhere that gives the translations?
Oh, and do you know if by any chance those free sampler packs are still available somewhere? I'm a MobileMe member and they're not on the iDisk where they used to be.

READ THIS if your finder is crashing/looping/closing folders!!!

It took me weeks(!) to find this solution here, but I think at least for me it worked and could be helpful for anyone else who has this or similar issues (such as when typing you lose the cursor
and you have to click back into the program you are using) after the last Apple Security Update that caused this bug.
I do not know if this will work for everyone, but it worked for me.
It seems all to be linked to Stuffit and a preference called Stuffit AVR (Archive Via Rename): In your system preferences go to the bottom and click on the Stuffit AVR option. Click the Stuffit AVR tab
on the left, and click the "STOP" button. This should do the trick. For some reason this is cycling through our desktop/finder and causing so much of the frustration since this update.

After the quicktime 7.6 update I can no longer open Civilization, Mail, Logic Pro, iTunes, or even the System Preferences panel (crashes immediately). Finder crashes upon selecting an audio files but doesn't seem to be doing the same looping. I've reverted to 7.5.5 using pacifist but this hasn't fixed anything. Also moved into a new folder all codecs from the Quicktime library. I only have Stuffit expander, so no AVR preference even if I could open the system prefs.
I can attach crash report from system prefs if that will help

my finder is stuck in a loop trying to restore its windows with a option box flashing on the screen you can't click on due to the flashing and the finder icon bouncing in the dock…How do I get it to stop !! I have not set up the time machine ..

My Finder keeps coming up with the message "The application "Finder" unexpectedly quit while trying to restore its windows" and it gives me the option to restore the windows. Whether I chose to restore or not, nothing happens. The screen keeps flashing I can't do anything!

Mac mini ppc finder in infinite loop

I have a ppc mac mini, a few days ago after logging in the finder seems to wig out. It flashes to the front. If I try to open a finder window it flashes on the screen then it is gone, it comes back for a second and gone again. To do anything on the computer is near impossible.
I have tried booting from disc and it does not like any of the 3 I have. I tried booting in safe mode and it sits at the apple with the gray wheel spinning endlessly.
I can access the hard drive through my network and am in the process of grabbing all important files off.
Does anyone have any ideas that I should try?

Can you tell us if the mini actually boots so that you can reach the finder and desktop? If it can, but it hangs at the Apple logo on the grey screen during a safe mode boot which your first post suggests, then this is an unusual problem indeed!
Have you rescued all your data from the system now?
If the mini is as unresponsive as you suggest, and given that it's not entirely clear what symptoms you are describing, it may be rather difficult to run any of the normal software to try and diagnose this.
However, there are a few things to try before going any further.
First, reset PRAM. This is the area of memory which the Mac users to store basic settings.
To reset it...
-Shut down the computer.
-Locate the following keys on the keyboard: Command, Option, P, and R. You will need to hold these keys down simultaneously in the next step but one.
-Turn on the computer.
-Press and hold the Command-Option-P-R keys. You must press this key combination before the gray screen appears.
-Hold the keys down until the computer restarts and you hear the startup sound for the second time.
-Release the keys.
You'll know it worked if you can see the desktop after the system starts up because the clock and date will have reset too.
If that doesn't help, try a PMU reset:
To reset the PMU
-Unplug all cables from the computer, including the power cord.
-Wait 10 seconds.
-Plug in the power cord while simultaneously pressing and holding the power button on the back of the computer.
-Let go of the power button.
-Press the power button once more to start up your Mac mini.
If that doesn't work, let us know if you can access the finder at all on the system, sufficient to run anything. If not, I fear it may be necessary to reinstall MacOS, though your earlier comment that you'd tried booting of the disc and nothing happened despite trying 3 that you have is not inpsiring confidence!
Hopefully though, that'll get the ball rolling after a couple of weeks waiting!

Finder crash-reboot loop, effecting only 1 user!

My primary account is having issues.
When i log in, finder keeps crashing, and rebooting, almost instantaleously. I get the beachball-of-doom whenever i mouse over on the desktop.
The dock works fine. I can launch applications and such. The apple in the corner works aswell, aslong as i'm in an application. But meanwhile, Finder quits and reboots in an endless cycle in the background.
This only effects my one user account.
I ran catalogtree stuff, and all the disc checks, seems fine.
Suggestions to fix? Thanks!

Sounds like you might have a corrupt preferences file. Try moving the finder preferences for that user somewhere else.
If you have to use the terminal, here's the command:
sudo mv /Users/shortname/Library/Preferences/com.apple.finder.plist /Users/shortname

Finder stuck in Restore Windows loop

Can you help with this issue?

I had this problem (running os x lion 7.1 on a MBP i7) and went through all suggestions offered on the web and in the apple discussions, including using terminal to remove finder saved state files, preferences, etc., everything short of doing a clean install -- and none of them worked. In the end the solution (for me) was very, very simple.
I had noticed that every time I re-started the laptop, spotlight would start indexing. Originally, I had tried to click on either restore or do not restore windows or perform some other operation, the effect of which was to stop spotlight from indexing and to enter into the loop. No matter what I did, so long as I did something, I would enter into the infinite finder window restore loop.
Finally, after re-starting for about the thirtieth time, I decided to do nothing and let spotlight finishing indexing. After it finished indexing (after about 5 mins) I choose not to restore finder windows and exited the loop. Now everything appears fine and I haven't had a finder crash or infinite loop restore windows problem.
So, in my case, it seems that the loop was caused by the finder trying to relaunch after a crash but before spotlight indexing had completed. Once I let the indexing complete, the finder was able to relaunch and exit the loop.
Given my experience, I would recommend looking to see whether your system is trying to index while the windows restore dialogue pops up. If it is, do nothing until the indexing is finished. Once it's finished click on the appropriate option in the finder windows restore dialogue box, and see if this will allow the finder to exit the loop and relaunch.
If it isn't indexing, then your problem might be elsewhere and you'll need to try some or all of the more serious remedies involving terminal command-line entry -- though I wonder whether perhaps the problem could still be linked to indexing. Perhaps try to make spotlight index before doing anything else?
