Find Query Name in Transport Request or In TR what are Queries.

Dear All,
I would like to find a Query Name in Transport Request(DEVK.....) or Vice-Versa in Transport Request (DEVK........), what are the queries are included. I created SAP Query using SQ01 and assigned the InfoSet. The query is succesfully executing and getting the required result but I dont know the Transport Request Number which was created. In stead of creating New request, I would like to know the existing Transport Request what are the Queries are assigned.

If you have included the Query in Transport using SAP Query Transport tool, it creates Transport request and makes an entry in the table AQTDB. Check the table entries in the table AQTDB.

Open query in query designer.
From 'Properties' window (right side Window) dropdown select query.
From 'Advanced' tab copy the UID. U can search that in SE09.
OR
Copy that query ID from SE10, use table RSZELTDIR with that ID.

To find program name with transport request number

Hi,
If this transport request is created by you or u know the respective user then go to the tcode SE09 and enter the user name and click on display you will get the list.then go on expanding u will get the program name.

About package name and transport request number

Hello Gurus,
I know when doing some changes in the sap bw system, and performing activation subsequently , you are prompted to save the changes into some package and transport request. my question is:
in the real project, where does those package name and transport request number come from? make up by myself or provided by project management, or someone else? if doing by youself, how to make up package name and transport request number ?

package is like a folder in windows.. u create package for a project and than collect all the relevant transports in it.
to create package u use SE80.. Transport req number are configured by basis team.. its usually source system ID and running serial number...
package name can be decided by tech architect or by ur team manager..

How to collect the deleted query in a transport request.

Hi Friends,
I have created a query and transported it to the Quality, the data content is all ok, except that i have not used the Project Naming conventions. Now i have a defect against my name for this. I have to copy the same query with the correct Naming convention and transport it.
My question is after copying the query with correct name i have to delete the old query (if not there would be 2 versions of the same query). How do i collect the deleted image of the query in a transport and send it to quality?.
I tried deleting a test query from Bex Designer, but this does not ask me for a transport. should i use RSZDELETE?. Not sure if it asks for a transport request when i delete the query.
Can someone pls tell me how to go about this?.

I do agree that deleting directly in Quality and Prod is not good way and not recommeded.
I have not tried and deleted.But if the system is configured in such a way that if it doesnt ask for a request
then i feel you have no option.
If any object is deleted then you must have the deletion image collected into request at the same point when you are deleting.Because later when we go to transport connection we wont find the object itself.
What i think from your point as you said you have done earlier is you must have any open request regrding this query and when this query is deleted , the deletion image is also included in the same request.
So go to se03 and give your deleted query name and check all the requests.
Check in the requests when the deletion image is captured or not. we might be knowing that this is cpatured.

I have transported a bulk of bw queries. Now I want the list of these queries that were transported. I am able to
see only the object name and NOT the query name(description). I wnat to see the technical name /description of
these queries. How to do this??

Hi,
this is not possible.....
copy the technical IDs of elements tranported (from the tp request object list)
and paste them in field ELTUID of table RZSELTDIR (OBJVERS = A) via SE11/SE16.
You can also use RSZCOMPDIR or RSRREPDIR (queries only) tables

I am trying to find a the query name for program AQFKSYSTQV000045ZCHECKNUMBERLU I have looked in Standard Work Area under all of the user groups but no luck. It is currently only in our Production System. Please suggest any other places I can look.

I apologize for not seeming like I have a clue....I did search the Forum...and maybe I wasn't clear with my question....again I apologize.....I am somewhat familiar with query and I understand that the query name is probably ZCHECKNUMBERLU. My issue is that I cannot find the user group. I have broken It is not a user group under Global Area or Standard Area. For example....We have a query named ASETAQUISITION. The program name is AQFKAM==========ASETAQUISITION...This query is located in the AM User Group....Easy Find. However, the program in question is AQFKSYSTQV000045ZCHECKNUMBERLU. I have broken this program name apart every way I can think of and I cannot find a user group in my global or standard Area. So I guess I should ask, by looking at that program name, how do you determine what the user group name is so I can find the actual query?

There is a query made earlier thru SQVI in QAS. I know the program name which got generated but don't know the query.
Now i want to create a query in DEV which should be same as the one in QAS.
How can i find out the query name through the program name generated. So that i can make a fresh query in DEV.

Method 1 :Right click on variable in Query Designer and find the where used list.
Method 2 : SE16--> RSZGLOBV -->Enter the variable VNAM as 'Variable Name' ->Get the VARUNIID> Go to table RSZELTXREF --> Enter the values of VARUNIID in TELTUID --> Get the list of SELTUID --> Go to table RSZCOMPDIR --> Enter the values of SELTUID in COMPUID --> Get the list of COMPID -->COMPID is the list of queries

Transaction code to find return code for transport request

I want to see the return code for transport requests after importing to QAS from DEV. What is the transaction code to find return code and can you explain in brief.

you can check it out in STMS
wht you can do is ,,
Run Tcode STMS > Overview imports (F5) > you will find all import queues > then click on the import queue in which u want to see the status of transport (DEV , QAS , PRD )
> then find out the transport no > click on that > then click on logs or press ( ctrl + f4)

Need To Find Query Name Used In A Bookmark

I have a bookmark that is not based off a web template. It was created by running the query on the web and then saving the bookmark from there. We have since forgotten the query technical name. How can I find it out?
(I have tried looking at table RSZWBOOKMARK but it doesn't have any info about the query. And the web template id field is blank since we didn't create the bookmark that way.)

We had a similar need recently to report on bookmarks in the BW system by user, query, InfoProvider, etc. We ended up having a custom ABAP developed here to piece some of the information together for a report. In our scenario, the bookmark links were actually being stored in the BW user's favorites, so it took additional linkage to go from there as well.
You may want to look at some of the same tables we had to access here. Try looking at data in the RSZWOBJ table -- the keys to this table would be OBJID (use the RSZWBOOKMARK-BOOKMARKID) and OBJVERS ('A'). Because of the way the data is stored with this, you may have to use ABAP code similar to the one below to get Bookmark info. I took a few snippets of code out of a program to help show this -- here the field WS_INFOPROVIDERID is getting filled with the query name behind the bookmark.
sample working storage below -

Query regarding moving transport request

HI all,
I have query regarding moving the transport request.
I have a main program with 3 includes. I have made some changes in the 1st include and transported it to the quality(testing). Now i made changes in the 2nd include and saved it in a different request(as request for the 1st include is already released). Now i am moving the changes of the 2nd include into the production. Here I want to know whether all the changes that i have made for the 1st include also will reflect in the production when the 2nd request is moved to production( incase of 1st include, only moved till quality) or only the changes made in the 2nd include will only reflect.

Thank you very much for the response. I have a query regarding the same. If i am making changes only in one single report and i am moving it to the quality. Now again i am making changes in the same report and saving it in a different request and moving it to the production. in this case, i wanted to know whether the whole changes made in the first and second request will reflect in the production or only the 2nd request's change will only reflect (since it is only a single report. there is no include in the program)

Hi,
Go to transaction SE21 and give the package name as ZAPO or any thing starts with Z.
click on create button.
give a short description
in the Package properties block- allowed object types list box - select No restrictions.
in the transport attributes block- specify the transport layer
give software component as HOME
select the check box for changes recorded.
save the package.
or
Go to SE80
select package from the list box
give your package name and hit enter button
the popup asks you for input.
give the appropriate values and press create button.
Note: You should be registered as a developer in the system where you are creating the package.

Table RSRWORKBOOK WORKBOOKID, GENUNIID is the query ID;
goto RSRREPDIR for detail query properties
(query belongs, in bex analyzer, right click cell 'properties', tab 'information' - query id)
