Find technical name of query if only internal is given (and delete it)

Hello,
a query has a readable name like "Invoice for north pole customers", a technical name like "Z_MM_CUST_NPOLE" and an generated internal name like "4BUI9VVDT8A057L8G3BQ4IN4G".
When I search which queries belong to an old multiprovider, I only get the internal query names like "4BUI9VVDT8A057L8G3BQ4IN4G". I cannot search with this internal name in the BEx Query Designer nor can I search there using the InfoArea folder (I can only find one query instead of two queries).
How do I find the technical name like "Z_MM_CUST_NPOLE"?
Apart from that, I cannot delete the query in the BEx Query Designer ("Delete" is inacitve (gray)).
The query seems corrupt. Can I delete a query in the SAP GUI (rsa1 or something like this)?
Best regards
Thomas

Hi Thomas,
You can delete the Query in BIW GUI by using T Code RSZDELETE.
After that u get a screen where u enter the
Type :- REP
Object Version :-A
Technical Name as :-"The Tech name of the Query"
Leave the other Rows Blank.

Launch the Console application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Console in the icon grid.

  • Find technical name of receiving query in RSBBS assignment

    Dear Experts,
under transaction RSBBS one can assign sender/receiver details. While the technical name of both sender and receiver are entered when createing the RRI, one can only retrieve a compressed ID (i.e. 46F28FNV1L4H1QENI1KKEKWUCAZPAOPRD) for the receiver in transaction RSBBS.
We would like to find a way to determine the technical name of that particular compressed ID. I have already searched the RSBBS* tables, but I cannot get past the compressed ID (field RONAM) in i.e. table RSBBSQUERY
    My question:
    - Can you provide me a table/view/program/transaction/... that shows the relationship between senders and receivers by means of technical query names (not ID's)?
    - Or can you provide me (step-by-step) the relation between different tables and fields that would allow me to do so?
    Kind regards,
    PJ

    Hi Simon,
thank you for your reply. I have researched your proposal, and I can indeed find the relation between my sender query's technical name ZSENDERQUERY_Q001 and the field RSBBSQUERY-RONAM that looks like this: 46U5CEI2BU3U8P8GZOFWWN3GKAZSD_C03 (Mind the name of the infoprovider at the end!).
This information can also be retrieved from transaction RSBBS, where I can enter 1 senderquery's technical name, and which returns me the associated RSBBSQUERY-RONAM values in the column "Receiver Object". Your contribution allows me to create a view to get this information for multiple sender queries from different cubes.
However, I would like to go one step further. From this RSBBSQUERY-RONAM value I would like to get the target/receiving query's technical name that looks like this "ZRECEIVERQUERY_Q002".
This is my ultimate goal as I need to delete all obsolete queries from the BI system, and the associated jumpqueries. Creating a single list by means of a view would help me a lot.
    Kind regards,
    Pieter-Jan

  • How can i find technical name of varaibles in query 0T_FYEAR

    Hi all,
I am trying to transport my bex objects (query and structures and stuff) from dev to QA.
I had one previous transport from dev to qa and now I have two varaibles 0T_FYEAR and 0P_FYEAR.
And these two varaibles have the earlier reuqest number so I want to delete then from that request and then add to the new request I am trying to create.
But in the old request I dont see these two elements how can i check the technical names for that. I see two different entries in that request which are something like
R3TRELEM2477EPQ40PB73OI4A73SI20IH rest all are starting with 43.....
    Can some one help out.
    Thanks in advance

    Hi Raj,
You can try looking up those IDs in SE16 > V_ELTDIR_TXT to recognise which is which.
    Hope this helps...

  • BW 7.0 - Technical names in query designer

    Hi colleagues,
is there any possibility to set an default value for the technical names in the query designer. Every time I open the query designer, the system shows me only the "text" for the query elements and not the key.
    regards
    Dieter Gerl

The "functional enhancement schedule" document now describe the single query refresh within a workbook to be available in Stack 14.
The link also need to be check very often. (I got a version 12.3 from 08/06/2007 which planned enhancement to SPS13 whereas version 12.5 from 28/06/2007 plan it to SPS14)

  • Field description in chart legend instead of technical name (BW query)?

I am building a report from a BW query. The report has a grouping field and a bar chart in the group footer. When I execute the report the legend shows the technical name of the key figures even though I checked the "Show description" field in the "options".
I can change the labels in "preview" mode (provided I can guess the real names), but just like in the field explorer I would prefer to always have the text instead of the nonsense technical name.
    Is this possible?

    hello all,
you can use a 2 chart workaround for this.
    1) the first chart is the Group chart you already have...just disable the legend
    2) now create an Advanced chart using the description field as the On Change Of
    3) set the Order of chart to correspond with the technical field that the group is based on
    4) preview the chart and right click on the x axis area and format the axis so nothing is showing
    5) do the same for the y axis
    6) keep right clicking on all of the chart objects and changing them to transparent
sounds annoying, is annoying, but it works.
    cheers,
    jamie

This FM takes program name as I/P and gives Query Name as O/P.
This FM uses the structure AQADEF to fetch the data.

  • I've upgraded iphone to ios6 and text messaging doesn't recognize my frequ. used contacts unless I go into contacts, find the name, etc. -- tedious.  what happened? and how can it be fixed.  I tried to reset the settings, turned the phone off/ on.

I cannot initiate a text message by typing in the first couple of letters of a name (from my contacts) and the then the name being recognized.   Have to go into Contacts, then select name -- tedious.   I've tried to reset it, turned the phone on/ off and changed Sort Order, Display Order but nothing has changed.  I've updated to the io6.   Any thoughts??

    Hi,
Firstly, your country is detemined by several factors, including your phone's regional settings, your SIM card and your NokiaAccount settings, if you used this phone whilst abroad then you may need to check that your regional and account settings are up to date since you have arrived in Canada.
For services like Gigs, you should also ensure that the MixRadio app has access to your phone's GPS location as well as the main location being on in the phone settings. To check this, as well as Location being turned on in the phone settings, in MixRadio itself go to Settings>Location>On:
The concern with favourites may also be related to location, if the music from certain artists is available in Canada but not where the service might think you are, availability of content may vary from region to region.
If all settings in both the phone, your Nokia Account and the MixRadio app are correct, we may have to investigate deeper.
It is impossible to comment on your camera without seeing it, you cold have the phone checked by Nokia Care locally, but of course if it was supplied in Europe it will be covered by the European Limited Warranty which is not valid in Canada.

  • Change Technical Name

    Hi Gurus,
Any way to change the technical name of a RKF or a CKF?
When I right click on the context menu of any RKF and open the Edit/Properties, I do not see the Tech name editable.
    Any chance?
    Manesh.

    Hello Manesh,
You can change the technical name of CKF and RKF from the table: RSZELTDIR & RSZCOMPDIR
In the table RSZCOMPDIR, Change COMPID (Technical name of Query elements will be stored here)
and also do make changes in the table RSZELTDIR
In the selection of table use RSZELTDIR - DEFTP = CKF/SET
then RSZELDIR - MAPNAME represents the calculated keyfigure or restricted keyfigure.
Changing the value of MAPNAME will change the technical name.
    I hope this information helps.

  • How to check a query element based on the technical name of a query builde?

We often see, e.g., 401OQ2EEM5EJH4GQ5N2HFNE7P as a query element of a query builder.  How to know what kind of InfoObj. or R2R link it would be base on the long technical name?  We remember there is a table to look these up, what's the table name and how to look for it's description name?
    Thanks

    hi Ari,
The table you recommend seems to only work for Report to Report link, but not for query element, is there any other table that we can find which InfoObj. is used for this long technical name in query?
Thanks and we have given you rewards points.

  • Technical name for formula in query designer

    Hi,
We have created some formulas in Query Designer.
We tried to assign the technical names to these existing formulas, it goes away as the save button on the top of the pop up is disabled.
Is there a way to assign technical names of the formulas created in the query designer.
    Regards,
    Charu

    Charu Pandey,
Formulas are local, means available for particular queries only. No technical name.
Create Calculated keyfigures instead of formulas..., so you can save with technical names.
To display technical name in query, give discription same as technical name.
    Hope it Helps

  • ODS technical names

    Hi All,
can somebody help me with the technical name of the ODS
    Active table = /bic/AA<ODS name>00
    Change Log =??
    New table=??
can somebody give what are the technical names for the above tables of the ODS and also correct me if i am right with Active table name.
Is change log table and the PSA table one and the same.
    thanks and regards
    sree

    HI,
An ODS consist of these tables:
    /BIC/A(odsname)00 Active records
    /BIC/A(odsname)40 New records
/BIC/A(odsname)50 Rollback (for internal use only)
    /BIC/BXXXXXXXX Changelog
You can also  find that using ODS -> manage -> Content -> Change log table.
    Check this for more info
    http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/7e/c81eef52c511d182c50000e829fbfe/frameset.htm
technically the changelog table of an ODS is a PSA-Table. you have to read all three tables sequentially to get to the PSA-Table name which is your changelog table name.
