Find the KOSTL(cost center) value using coing group and coding code

Hi,
Can we get the value cost center Kostl by using coding code and coding group. As per the requirement the coding group is specified in the table qmel-qmgrp and the coding code is qmel-qmcod.. So by using this values only can we get the KOSTL value..Please do help me in this regard.

so the thing is for the particular coding group QMGRP we have the coding codes QMCOD assigned to it and for the transaction QM01 we cannot have the notification number (as this number is generated only after the transaction is completed)only the notification type is specified in first screen after we press enter a subscreen with Production order number is specified press enter,
later in the first tab strip specify any material number and also plant number later the defect location and defect type, later in the subject tab strip in the coding group we get the F4 help for the coding code and group,there by picking any of the elements we also get the KOSTL value in text so i was just worried where can we get this value i have checked for the options that u have specified but this doesn't work for me...

CO-PA: how to find the cycle when I know the sending cost center?

Is there a possibility to find a specific cycle in CO-PA when I know the sending cost center (something like a search-function which returns a list)?
I was looking in transaction KEU5 but I don't think that it provides the above mentioned functionality...

but I am afraid it doesn't work. The assessment is for CO-PA, that means the costs will be allocated to products. When I choose the relevant line item here - after the assessment has been fulfilled - I can't see any information about the cycle...
Any other ideas?

Material Attribute value display based on cost center value

Is it possible to display the material attribute value based on cost center value. I mean for some cost centers I would like to display the value of other characteristic in place of material attribute. I am trying to create a query on MP.
Any info in this regard will be appreciated.

In Rows, Create a struture. Using New Selection, You can restrict the New Value to the cost center (Restrict again on those some cost centers) and material. And for this New Characteristic, you can have a attribute.

But how do you find the cpu cost and i/o cost by a query?

PPOME: Unable to assign the master cost center

When I am trying to assign the common cost center to an Organizational unit under transaction PPOME I am unable to do that as there are employees that belong to different company code.
Can you please help to assign the common (single) cost center to Org unit?

Hi,
As per standard, you cannot assign cost center belonging to one company code to a org unit which belongs to another company code.
If you want to to this, you can do either using IT1018(this is at org unit or position level) in PP01 or IT0027 (this is at employee level). But this will be cost distribution.

Integration regarding cost center between OM, Infotype 0105 and the user

we are just implementing OM, where the cost center for an organizational unit is maintained. Within a OU
exist positions to which persons are assigned.
In the HR Master data Infotype 0105 "Communication" the system user name for this person is maintained.
My request:
In SU01 on "Logon data" tab is a field "Cost center". What do I need to fill it with the value from the assigned position in OM?

The connection from user-id via IT 105 to pers nr and from there to OU and cost centre is clear.
What I want to know is wether the field cost center in TA SU01 can be automatically populated with the corresponding value from the OU for this user. I don't want to change the value via SU01 so it is sufficient when the field in SU01 is in status ReadOnly. But as the information is in the system I want it to be automatically displayed in the User-id-context.

Employees has the same cost center long text as the previous record

in ABAP-HR 2 employees have got the same cost centr text (kostl) with different perner.we shouldnt get the same cost centres long text for diff pernr(employee numbers). please solve this.

Validation in the network header for the responsible cost center field

Hi Experts,
I want to do the validation for the network header that, the cost center in responsible cost center field of WBS & network should be same... If the user enters other than WBS in the network it should give an error message....
when i am trying to do validation in the network header i am unable to see the filed of the responsible cost center for the WBS element.

Thank you for your reply. There was no entries in the GB01. I went to SM30 & in view V_GB01C i maintained the entries
as
Boolean Class - 71 - WBS element
Class type - B
Table - PRPS
Field - FKSTL.
Next i went to maintain the validation in the T-Code OPSI, i am unable to find the field of the WBS element cost-center in the Network header.
Can u tell me if i had done anything wrong in the above steps.
what the user exit for the network can u tell me...

Cost Center values of POs

hi,
i want to get the cost center values for all POs. in BBP_PD i could see the cost center assignment values under table BBP_PDACC.
i'm not able to link this table with CRMD_ORDERADM_H & CRMD_ORDERADM_I tables.
i found one FM BBP_ACCOUNT_MULTI_GETDETAIL but this accepts only one header guid.
but primaraly i want to fetch directly from the table.
Please let me know how i can link the CRMD_* tables with BBP_PDACC.

Hi,
Here is an idea for your request.
Basically you can create a simple query on multiprovider 0TCT_MC01.
Filter: you can use a variable for restriction of time ( calday, or calmonth) since you should be interested for a time period.
Choose following characters into your objects:
InfoProvider ( 0TCTIFPROV ) - you can create a variable for choosing infoprovider before query runs.
*Tp.[Type of BI Application Object] 0TCTBISOTYP = filter this with 'QUERY' or whatever your need is.
*BI Application Object 0TCTBISBOBJ, ( this will give you the name of the queries)
In key figures choose, Count for BI Appl. (0TCTWTCOUNT).
(number for query run)
Create a condition , for top 20.
