Find the page to check if plugins are up to date.

I have been on a webpage that shows which plugins need to be updated but I can't find it now. Can someone tell me where it is?

  • Firefox 6 on Windows XP SP3 does not close properly after checking if plugins are up to date.

    After doing Tools > Add-ons > Plugins > Check if plugins are up to date, Firefox process will not exit after closing Firefox.
    I can close the window, but Firefox process does not exit. New window does open if I click Firefox icon to launch it. After reboot Firefox complains that some tabs could not be opened, as if it had crashed because of reboot.

    i deleted the rdf and now the first window only (and any tabs in it) are maximised. i found this in the rdf
    <RDF:Description RDF:about="chrome://browser/content/browser.xul#main-window"
    screenX="4"
    screenY="4"
    width="1008"
    height="461"
    sizemode="Normal" />
    i tried changing normal to maximised; no effect. either i need also to change the numbers (to match a maximised window) or ff ignores this. i want to be able to open different sites in different windows, and not have to maximise them manually. ff never used to be broken, why break this? what possible security flaw was fixed by screwing up ff to never open maximised unless u hack it or delete certain config files?

  • Can't check if plugins are up to date

    since Friday 5-4-2012 around 6pm est,(on 3 separate computers) i have been getting "sorry we couldn't find the page or file you were looking for" when i click on the link "check to see if your plugins are up to date" through the add-ons page. it's the first time i have ever encountered this problem.....can any one help me with this? i have tried, restarting Firefox, restarting the computers, shutting off the firewall, uninstalling Firefox and reinstalling and so far none of these have worked. it is now Sunday 5-6-2012 around 10:30 am est and i have been clicking that link several times each day to see if anything new happens or gets fixed and so far it has not.....I'm still seeing the same page. i would appreciate it if someone could help me solve this very quickly.....thanks for any help.

    plugins.update.url has always been set to "http'''s'''://www.mozilla.'''com'''/%LOCALE%/plugincheck/" so far - https://mozilla.com seems to be generally broken at the moment (again, bug 752232) & the problem of plugin check showing a 404 from inside firefox is just a byproduct of that

  • How do I get rid of the annoying yellow banner saying "some plugins are out of date on this page."

    Since 5/22/12 I have an annoying yellow banner in Firefox (and other web pages) stating that "some plugins are out of date on this page.") How do I get rid of this? I've checked my plugins and I'm fine for my Mac OS (10.4.1).

    Sounds similar to this thread from yesterday: [https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/927963 How do I stop getting the prompt to update plugins? | Firefox Support Forum | Firefox Help]. Do any of the suggestions there help?

  • I have 10.6.8 and have installed two new printers HP 8610 and an Epson 7880 and can not find the Page Set-up menu anywhere in the applications I a trying to print from. There are no page sizes, paper types, appearsto be locked on a 13x19 size but It.

    Hi to the Mac Folks,
    I have 10.6.8 and have installed two new printers HP 8610 and an Epson 7880 and can not find the Page Set-up menu anywhere in the applications I a trying to print from. This is regardless of either printer selected.
    I primarily print photos from Photoshop CS5.  The term Page Set-up has gone missing in the file pull down menu. Can't make any choices  There are no page sizes, paper types, appearsto be locked on a 13x19 size paper format. Either being too large or too small.
    Saw a 2008 locked issue about this however none of the help fit my situation, options discussed are not available to me.
    Preview has no "Page Setup" - or does it?
    Does the constant struggle with computer compatability weirdness issues ever end or is it a enslavement scheme?

    Hey,
    if you know the name(s) of the root folder(s) you want to access (eg. by making a note on the Windows side) then you can make them appear by just doing Shift-Command-G in Finder ("Go to Folder…"), and entering the full path to the required folders.  You can then navigate all the contents as normal.

  • Can not see training videos - message "We can't find the page you are looking for, please return to the Apple Support homepage?

    Can not open Training Videos shown on Apple Site - message comes us " we can not find the page you are looking for - please return to the main Apple Site"? Help

    You've used the wrong name for the folder that holds the html page.
    http://web.mac.com/artworksforyouth/iWeb/Site/Home.html
    Is what it is trying to find (and it doesn't exist).
    www.artworksforyouth.org redirects to www.artworksforyouth.com which then redirects to your iWeb page.
    Rather than the word "Site" in your URL you need to use ArtWorks%20for%20Youth

  • I have Firefox 18.0.1 and when I click "Check to see if plugins are up to date", I get an uresponsive script warning.

    When I click the link "Check to see if plugins are up to date" at the top of the Add-ons Manager page, it opens a new page like normal. The new page displays everything but the plugins and their status. The page just sits waiting for the status results to populate. If I try to click anything at this point, the page freezes and I see a message at the top of the window that Firefox has become unresponsive. If don't click and wait about 60 seconds, I get a "Warning - Unresponsive Script" message. I also see the following information with this warning:
    Script: https//www.mozilla.org/js/plugincheck.js:14
    This first happened yesterday, after accidentally removing Java from my PC - I think it was Java 6. When I tried to access Java downloads to re-install, I got the same unresponsive script message. So, I had to access Java downloads with IE instead of Firefox, and I re-installed Java (version 11, update 11). Has Java caused my problem? Should I attempt to find Java 6 and install it?

    hello eric, does it help when you reset firefox (this will keep your saved bookmarks & passwords)?

    If i manually navigate to http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/plugincheck/ it works fine.
    Therefore the link to the secure protocol has broken

  • How to find the list of Queries/Reports which are using Exceptional Aggregation in SAP BI?

    Hi All,
    We are interested to know how to find the list of Queries/ Reports which are using Exceptional aggregation in SAP BI.
    Please let us know is there any table's to check the list of reports using Exceptional Aggregation in SAP BI.

    Hi,
    Here you go..
    1) Go to table RSZCALC and get list of ELTUID where AGGREXC is not INITIAL and AGGRCHA is not initial; now you get only exception aggregation set based on some chars. Also you can further add STEPNR = 1 since your intention is just to get query name , not the calculation details; this will reduce number of entries to lookup and save DB time for next steps.
    Here you will get list of exception aggregation UUID numbers from which you can get properties from RSZELTDIR.
    2) Pass list of RSZCALC-ELTUID to table RSZELTXREF - TELTUID and get list of RSZELTXREF -SELTUID - this table stores query to it's elements maping kind.
    3) Now again pass RSZELTXREF - SELTUID into same table but into different field RSZELTZREF - TELTUID and get RSZELTXREF - SELTUID
    This step you get query reference sheet or column or query general UUID for next step.
    4) Pass list of RSZELTXREF - SELTUID into RSZELTDIR - ELTUID with DEFTP as 'REP'. Now you get list of query names in RSZELTDIR - MAPNAME and description in TXTLG.
    Note: you can also get the reference chars used for exception aggregation from RSZCALC - AGGRCHA field.
    Hope this helps.
    Please keep in mind, it might take more time depends on how many query elements you have in the system...

  • Finds the page then keeps trying to connect continuously

    never stops connecting even after it finds the page, all pages.......! all the time....!

    This issue can be caused by an extension (FoxLingo) that isn't working properly.
    Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode|Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
    *Don't click the Reset button on the Safe mode start window or otherwise make changes.

    If you use FoxLingo then try to revert for now to the 2.7.3 version.

  • Safari cant find the page

    when i try to go on a website all it says is safari can't find the page. Any help?  if you had this problem can you tell me how to fixs the problem

    There are a few problems you may be experiencing. What URL are you trying to access? Do you have a screenshot?
    Here are some possibilities which will narrow things down to help find the solution:
    1. You aren't connected to the Internet
    2. The server of the website you are trying to access is down
    3. You are trying to go to an invalid URL such as apple.com/apple, or apple.hd

  • Why is Metastream plug-in listed when I do a Plug-in Check on what plugins are up to date, I thought it was blocked?

    MetaStream 3 Plugin is listed as a Plugin, Status Unknown when I click on "Check on what plugins are up to date" of the Add-ons Manager. (I think this has just recently started happening.) The three other plugins listed are active and none of the other supposed inactive or blocked ones are listed.
    The Add-ons Manager does indicate Metastream has been disabled due to security issues.
    Is this normal or of concern?

    Regardless of if a plugin is disabled or enabled, it will still display on the plugin check.<br>
    This is to ensure that if the plugin is enabled the user is running the most current and secure version of that plugin.

  • How to find the page that has the downloads?

    I am signed in to my valid creative cloud account. All I want to do is get to the page that lets me do the downloads of Acrobat, Photoshop, etc.  I can't for the life of me find the page!  Please help.

    Ted,
    For what it's worth, I agree.
    My experience is that Adobe has lots of valuable information tucked away in somewhat obscure, hard to find URLs. But it seems to be assumed that these locations are plain and clear and people know where to go.
    I find myself getting lost in dark corners of the Adobe website at times. Or sometimes just stuck on what to do next. Then I read through the forums and see that apparently everyone knows but me
