Find the source of a free characteristic (BI)

Dear Experts,
I would like to ask whether & where I can find the source field in CO-PA of a Free Characteristics field of BI.
For ex. there is a free characteristic in BI (BW Portal) named "Commision Recipient" where I choose for reporting & this field is relevant to a partner function of the same name ("Commision Recipient") where I  can choose & use while creating a sales order BUT I want to find & know which is the equivalent & relevant to these fields, CO-PA field & which is the relevant CO-PA posting where it is displayed.
Great Thanks in advance for your help.!!!
Kind Regards
George

  • My macintosh HD it is almost filled with "other" space and can't find the source to delete, what can I do?

My MacBook Air is almost filled up with "other"space and I can't find the source. What can I do to fix this and or what apps can I download to find the source and delete it. Thanks.

If you haven't restarted your computer for a while, do so. Sometimes cache files get mangled and begin expanding rapidly. A few weeks ago my iMac went from more than 500GB free to less than 20GB free in a short period of time. I knew that wasn't possible but also knew that I'd not shutdown or rebooted in over a month. After the reboot the disk was back to its normal usage and I've not seen a repeat.
If that doesn't do it, check out macupdate.com for programs such as DaisyDisk and Omni DiskSweeper to examine your drive contents. Media files (movies, digital photos, and songs) are the mostly likely culprits for taking up space.

  • A friend gave me an older Nano 3rd generation. Can anyone tell me how to delete what is on there and how to get rid of his name. It does not connect to my itunes. I cannot even find the source or the place to restore it as suggested in the owners manual.

I have a 3rd generation ipod that a friend gave me. I cannot find anything on how to get rid of his name and music on it. This is what the owners manual says:
"Select ipod nano in the soiurce list and click the summary tab" I cannot find the source or the summary tab on itunes. Can any one help me? I would like to delete everything on it and start over but I am afraid I cannot add anything back on it. I know this is detailed and a lot, but I really need help.

    Restore
Note: Because Restore erases all of the songs and files on iPod, make sure toback up any files you've saved on the iPod disk. All of your songs, videos, podcasts, audiobooks, and games can be loaded back to your iPod provided that you have them stored in your iTunes Library.
How to restore your iPod:For Windows:
    1. Make sure you've reinstalled the latest version of iTunes.
    2. Open iTunes, and then connect your iPod to your computer.
    3. After a few moments, it will appear in the source list in iTunes. If the iPod's display doesn't show "Connected" or "Do not disconnect" you may need to put the iPod into disk mode to proceed.
    4. Select your iPod in the source list and you will see information about it appear in the Summary tab of the main iTunes windows.
    5. Click the Restore button. You will be prompted with one or more restore options that may prompt iTunes to automatically download of the latest iPod Software. The 4 possible restore options are:
Restore Option 1: Restore - Restores with same iPod Software version already on iPod.
Restore Option 2: Use Same Version - Restores with same iPod Software version already on iPod even though a newer version is available.
Restore Option 3: Use Newest Version - Restores with the latest iPod Software on your computer.
Restore Option 4: Restore and Update - Restores with the latest iPod Software on your computer.
    6. A progress bar will appear on the computer screen indicating that the first stage of the restore process has started. When this stage is completed, iTunes will instruct you to leave iPod connected to your computer to complete restore.
    7. During the stage 2 of the restore process, the iPod will show an Apple logo as well as a progress bar at the bottom of the display. It is critical that the iPod remains connected to the computer or iPod Power adapter during this stage. Note: The progress bar may be difficult to see since the backlight on the iPod display may be off.
    8. After stage 2 of the restore process is complete and the iPod is connected to the computer, the iTunes Setup Assistant window will appear asking you to name your iPod and choose your syncing preferences similar to when you connected your iPod for the first time.
    For Mac:

Restore Option 3: Use Newest Version - Restores with latest iPod Software version on your computer.
Restore Option 4: Restore and Update - Restores with latest iPod Software version on your computer.
    6. A message will appear prompting you to enter an administrator's name and password.
    7. A progress bar will appear on the computer screen indicating that the first stage of the restore process has started. When this stage is completed, iTunes will instruct you to leave iPod connected to your computer to complete restore.
    8. During the stage 2 of the restore process, the iPod will show an Apple logo as well as a progress bar at the bottom of the display. • Where do I find the source list in iTunes 7

I know this sounds stupid, but I can't find the Source List! I lost my hard drive, put in a new one and reloaded iTunes, but have not reloaded all my CDs. I want to set iTunes so it will not synch up with my iPod and delete all the songs that are on the iPod, but not on iTunes. But, I see nothing labeled Source List. Where is it? Must my iPod be plugged in for it to show up -and- if it is, will I lose the music on the iPod, but not on iTunes?

    Hi Hexaware Consultants,
To change the look and feel of MastHead iView ...
-The three main files in the masthead are HeaderiView.jsp,LogInRedirect.jsp and LogOffConfirmMsg.jsp
-The HeaderiView contains the masthead users see when they are in the portal.
-Once you added your link to the HeaderiView.jsp, upload the par file.
-Once the par file is uploaded to the portal, you need to create a masthead iview based on this par file.
-Then this iView will be used for masthead on the framework page.
-create a folder in portal catalog-right click the folder->create a iView from par->select your own masthead iView->choose next->choose default component and click next->Enter the properties like-iView name,iView ID,prefix,Save as -iView and click next>save.
Here is the important step :
Add the iView to the framework page, then only it will be visible to the end users.
Browse the ramework page being used by the portal in the portal catalog
Right click on he page->edit->Page Layout->Select masthead iView on the framework page and click remove.
now iViews(Right click)->Widgets_masthead->Add iView to page->Delta Link->Position the masthead.->Logoff and logon to the portal.
It should work fine for you now I guess.
    Thank you.

  • BW3.5 : Busness content == Need to find the source cube from an web item

    Hi,
While executing( preview) an iview  of the predelivered CRM business package( com.sap.pct.crm.slsAnalyt.spa.Customer iview for Sales manager), in Enterprise Portal, I get an error " Error loading template 0TPL_0CRM_SM_CUSTOMER".
I can see this perticular web template in BW and when trying to activate this by tranferring into the content windows it brought thousands of other objects( even when I selected 'Only necessary object'). I am not sure whether I should go ahead with the activation.
I would like to know what is the relationship between a cube and a web template and how to findout the related cube from the template?
Also is it possible to activate only certain webtemplates only for queries of a perticular cube?
      Thanks

  • Inserting hyperlink - Cannot find the 'Source'

I am having trouble locating the 'source'  when inserting a hyperlink to a page. I am doing as I have been taught but its just not working, I have tried inserting link in a number of ways such as  Insert Hyperlink.... Also using the propertie manager to do it that way but cannot find the source anywhere. I have a deadline for tomorrow and managed to link homepage to second page whilst in a tutorial. I am not using a live web domain it is just for mock purposes.
    Please help.

Thanks for some reason it seems to be working now for reasons unknown... But.. My text navigation bar links have been inserted as new layers rather than div tags so now the link text is showing on top of the 'Client Page' text and looking a mess I will add the codes now to see if someone can help ????
Basically I need to hide the link that is sitting ontop of the image layer which is the nav bar... If that makes sense. I am new to dw so sorry for the long winded way explaining.

  • Finding the source of the web traffic

    Hi,
Does anyone know a fool proof way of finding the source where a user comes from?
For example - if http://www.mypage.com is a web site i am running and if i post this url in a site like craigslist.org, is there a way i can find out that the user came from craigslist.org.
Not very sure if getReferer() would wotk? SOme times it doesn't give the original source.
    Regards

I don't know where you're talking about with the getReferer() method.
At least it is available in HttpServletRequest#getHeader("referer").
Be aware that the client has full control over what he sends with the HTTP headers. There are also some antivirus/security packs which removes or fools the HTTP referrer (e.g. Norton Internet Security). At the server side you absolutely haven't control over it.

  • How to find the source of zfields in ECC where they are extracted to BI ?

    Hi,
We have few zfields in BI datasource, and I want to know the source of these zfields in ECC from where the zfields are extracted. Is there any table either in BI or ECC where we can check the source of extraction. Please let me know the way to find the source of the table ?

    Hi Daniel,
There is one scenario to know from which tables data is picking for particular data source, which may helps you.
You need to open two ECC sessions.
    1. Goto RSA3 T-code (1st session)
    2. Goto ST05 T-code (2nd session) which is for trace analysis.
In RSA3 give your data source name and select few records before executing , go to ST05 screen and select the "Table Buffer Trace" checkbox.
And then press "activate trace"  button and after that execute your data source in RSA3 screen.
After getting result in RSA3 screen then goto ST05 and select "Deactivate trace" button and then select "Display trace" which will show the trace list from which data is fetching. In this you will be able to see the source tables.
    Hope this helps you,
    Thanks,

    Hi Experts,
For a customer, we could see a credit exposure of X amount in FD33 and S067 shows a open delivery credit value shows the same X amount.
The issue is i am not seeing any open delivery or sales order for that customer. i am Unable to find the source of this credit exposure amount.
What can be the other possibilities for the credit exposure to show the X amount? kindly advise.
    Thanks,
    SudhaharN

    Dear Sudhahar Narasi,
First check this path for getting the "open delivery documents"
FD32->Environment->Sales and distribution documents->Open deliveries and open billings.
    FD32->Environment->Reporting->Credit master sheet.
By help of these views you will be knowing exact cause for that issue.
    Check and revert

  • How to find the source and target systems of an imported Transport Request?

    Hello,
How to find the source and target systems of an imported Transport Request?
    chinna.

    Hi Chinna,
In your landscape the TMS must have configured.Let assume that you have four six systems in the land scape.
DEV->DEV1->QUA->PRD and other two systems (TR1 ,TR2)are at different domain amd both are connected to QUA and the requests are forwarded from there. Here normally the flow willl be from DEV to DEV1, then DEV1 to QUA and QUA to PRD.For other two systems (TR1 ,TR2 )the source system will always be QUA.
