Find Unity version/patch level.

New guy, old install.  I need to find the version that I'm running as well as where to find patches/updates.
I searched my brains out, but found only the upgrade guides and Windows patching Wizards.
Thanks!

Hi
It you don't know the product well enough to work out what version you are on, you probably shouldn't meddle?
The version you have is displayed on the admin interface when you log in.
You can download the server updates wizard that you've seen already to bring your MS patching up to date...

  • How to find out EHP Patch Level

    Hi All,
Sorry if this has been answered before but with it hasn't or I'm terrible at finding things on here.
We have recently (this weekend) upgraded our BI 7.0 to BI7.01 (EHP1).
We've come across an issue in Java and the following note: 1354569 has a solution for us except that it's saying that this issue is resolved in SP5 or EHP1 SP4 PL5.
I can tell from our system that we are currently on EHP1 , but I can't tell what SP or patch level we're on.
The Java Kernal tells me the following:  7.01 PatchLevel 58805. (this was taking from System Information on the Java stack)
Does this mean that we're on SP5? and if so what PL ???
Thanks in advance for any help!!
    Paul

    Hi Paul,
Go to http://<server name>:5<instance number>00. On this page log on to System Information. There you can find on which patch level you are in EHP1.
Also, if you will click on all components tab then you will come to know patch level of all components in Java.
    Thanks
    Sunny

  • Displaying Identity Manager version/patch level

A customer asked how he can tell what Identity Manager version/service pack upgrade he has.
I said use the command $WSHOME/bin/lh -version
Customer reports that that simply displayed the java version he has. Not useless but not what was expected.
So just how do I determine the IDM version?
It ought to be IDM5.0 SP5.

I try the Help tab on the Identity Manager main window
After clicking Contents and the About Identuty manager I am rewarded with an About Identity Manager dialog box in 2 languages!!
The problem is that it shows the version as v5 SP1
But I have not applied Service Pack 1. I installed v5.0 and then went directly to SP5.

  • Registry Entry for SCCM Client Version w/CU Patch level

I'm trying to write a script that looks in the registry to find the CU patch level for a SCCM 2012 client. I can only find references in the registry to the base client version (ex: 5.00.7958.1000). I'm looking for something more specific (ex: 5.00.7958.1401).
I can find this in WMI, but I'd like to use the registry instead. Has anyone found anywhere to query this besides WMI?
    Thanks

    Hi,
For Cumulative updates check the registry at HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\SMS\Setup\CULevel

  • Headstart patch level vs. Repository version

What is the highest version(patch level) of Headstart that we can go to without changing our Repository version? We are currently at Repository version 4.0.12.80.6.

    Hi Randy,
No not really, but as patch level 20 is the highest on sapgui 6.40, i would guess that it is a 6.20 gui...
On the other hand highest patchlevel on 6.20 gui is 64, so it is a really old installation....
You should ask them to click on the icon in the upper left corner of the saplogon / saplgpad screen and then select "About SAP Logon", a window will tell the sapgui version and patchlevel...

  • SP13 not compatible with installed BIA? Determining BIA patch level

I'm having a bit of an issue finding where in TREXAdmin or on the OS I can find the applied patch level on the BIA.
I upgraded the BI ABAP side to SPS13 and it no longer recognizes installed BIA instance.
I then updated BIA to rev 41 which is all that is available in SAPnet, and I still get the same error.  The update was successful with no errors but Id like to see "Patch level 41" listed somewhere in TREXAdmin just to be sure.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You can check the version of the BIA several ways.
    TREXAdmin (python):
Landscapes -> Hosts -> Version -> Under Version column
    BI via tcode /TREXADMIN:
    Version tab
If you have issues with connectivity please check the Connectivity tab in the TREXAdmin python tool and do a repair. This should fix the problem.

    Hi Andrew,
You can check the version(including service pack) of iWS either from GUI <b> OR </b> from error log(/server-root/instance-name/logs/) file.
The below is an a sample script which helps to find out what and all version of iWS has been installed in you HDD(Hard Disk).
#A script to search a which version of iWS as been running in this machine
    for i in `find / -name "errors" -o -name "errors.*"`
    do
    if [ -f $i ]
    then
    (grep -h "iPlanet-WebServer-Enterprise" $i |head -1 || exit)

  • Where is the information about "Patch Level" of a particular version

    Hi all,
Where I can see what is the latest "Patch level" of a particular version of tuxedo. For example, what is the latest patch level of tuxedo 9.1, where I can find it out?. This information is public ? We need a oracle contacts?
    thanks in advanced

    MBriz,
The number at the start of last line in $TUXDIR/udataobj/patchlev is the Tuxedo patch level. (If there is no $TUXDIR/udataobj/patchlev file, then you are running the General Availability version of Tuxedo.)
This information is also available by executing "tmadmin -v".
A third way to get the information is to look at the first line printed by the BBL in the userlog on a particular day, which will be something like "09-30-2010: Tuxedo Version 10.3.0.0, 32-bit, Patch Level 041". (Other processes' first ULOG message of the day will indicate the Tuxedo Version, but will not include the patch level.)
    Regards,
    Ed

  • Finding BI4 on UNIX Patch Level

Is there an easy way to determine the patch level of our UNIX SAP BusinessObjects Business Intelligence 4.0? Help about from the CMC shows Product: 14.0.0, but this does seem to be a patch level. I can't seem to find a reference to this in the help doc.

You've got a few options. If you're on the server, go to add/remove programs. You'll see the version there (patches show as separate items, so you will clearly see "BI platform 4.0 SP2 Patch 5")
If you're not on the server, go to the CMC, go to servers, right click on the Central Management Server and select Metrics. About the 11th item down is Version. You will see something like 14.0.2.439.
    Then Google it.
Or click here: http://jdh2n.wordpress.com/category/business-intelligence/sap-businessobjects-4-0/ (Nice one, Jonathan Haun)
