Finder Error Relating to Photoshop and Bridge .BridgeCachet

I have a strange question that is related to photoshop. I'm copying a folder from one Mac to another, both running OS 10.4.8, over ethernet. I get an error message 3/4 of the way through the copying. "The operation cannot be completed because an iteam with the name ".BridgeCachet" already exists."
What's the problem? Is this a Mac OS problem? It seems to me that the .BridgeCachet file is holding up the works. How do I resolve the problem?

Well, the error message is on the computer that is recieving the copy, not the computer that is hosting the file.

This is currently happening for InDesign, Photoshop and Bridge. I had this problem previous and was able to fix by doing a complete wipe of my computer and reinstalling CC. However, I should not have to wipe my computer clean everytime I need to do a CC update. HELP!

Had to pick a recover point to a week ago - can't find PhotoShop and Bridge but CC says they are downloaded.

I have had mega computer issues today - had to recover back to a week ago and in the process lost my PhotoShop and Bridge - According to the website they are downloaded and on my computer...does anyone know how to uninstall if they don't show up, so I can reinstall them? They don't show up anywhere - it has been a very long frustrating day.
I am using Windows 7 and before I had to recover everything, about my adobe products, was working great. I just installed the trial versions on the 4th of October. Thanks for your help!

I think I finally found the place to uninstall both of them, going to try that and then reinstall. If that helps I will come in here and delete this post.
Actually since it took me a couple of hours to figure it out. One of the reasons it took me so long is that I only found one other discussion question even remotely touched on this subject. The problem was, the question was asked 2 years ago, and the instructions weren't in the same place. I ended up going to the Creative Cloud screen, hovered over the right side of the screen and a little gear (settings) showed up and the only option available when I did that was "Uninstall". I clicked on that and when it was gone, I was again given the option of downloading them again. At least my day is ending with less stress than it started.

Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop and Bridge does not recognize the raw files from my new Canon Mark III 5D Camera. How can I get my files open to view and edit? I am using LR3, Photoshop CS3 and Bridge CS3. Do I need to upgrade these programs or is there another way to get these programs to recognize my files?
When I try opening the raw images in Lightroom, the thumbnails say "Preview unavailable for this file" ... when I click "import" an error message pops up that says "The files are from a camera which is not recognized by the raw format support in Lightroom."
When I try opening the raw images in Photoshop, an error message pops up saying "could not complete your request because photoshop does not recognize this type of file."
When I try opening the raw images in Bridge, it just shows an icon with the file name and CR2.

Unless I missed an announcement, today, LR6 isn't available, yet, right? Only Adobe employees and beta testers would know what LR6 does differently at this point and they're all sworn to secrecy.
LR5 is available as a standalone version.
PS-CS6 is available as a serial-number-licensed version.
PS-CC + LR5 are also available as a Photography Plan subscription for $10/month with a minimum OS versions of OSX 10.7 (and probably 10.8, soon) and Windows 7.
Bridge is part of PS, not a separate program.

PS-CS6 can be found on this page: Creative Suite 6 which can be found by searching www.adobe.com for Photoshop CS6 and clicking the Buy link in the on-the-fly search results.
As with any new Adobe software, it might be wise to run it in trial mode for a few days/weeks to see if it works well with your computer, before purchasing and finding out you might need a new computer, first.

What OS version? What's the exact error? Exactly when does the error occur? What previous versions? What is on the screen when the error displays? Does Photoshop get fully open?
Try opening Photoshop holding down Shift key immediately to turn off plug-ins. Lots of good suggestions here: Photoshop: Basic Troubleshooting steps to fix most issues

Creative Cloud Member Photoshop and Bridge sooo slow

My Video Card is not supported for photoshop CC and my photoshop and Bridge are sooo slow now. I also keep getting errors about the 3D options not working because of this. As a photographer all I am doing is editing photos do I need the 3D options ? Can I disable Them, Can I go back to photoshop 6 with Creative Cloud?

Yes, with CC you also get PS6. Although think there will be the same problems as the on line version is 3D also. Photoshop needs RAM and Bridge needs processor speed to function well.

Can't get Camera Raw widow to open between Photoshop and Bridge.

Okay, so I can't get the Camera Raw editing window to open between Photoshop and Bridge on my new computer. I used Migration Assist and synced up all files from my old computer, and the Camera Raw setting still works fine on my old Laptop. And even images that I edited/adjusted in Camera raw, they automatically pop up in Camera Raw on my new computer, but images that have not been openned in Camera Raw before, don't automaticlly open in Camera Raw editing window?

What kind of file format, raw or JPEG? If JPEG then you'll need to set your Camera Raw Preferences correctly to have JPEGs open in Camera Raw.

Sounds like you transferred programs from another drive? This isn't a very good way to do it. Yes, re-install the Adobe apps.
