Finder info looks corrupted

Hi,
just recently discovered that the info-window in finder, when highlighting an object looks totally corrupted. Also, the mail-window...when looking at content with html-links in it are weird. And when loading a page of the internet... And facetime-video looks more like a heatsignature from the Predator than an actual image... What to do? Any ideas?

I just want to know how much is in a folder. If that info can show at the bottom of finder than that would be great.
Do you know what happens if you select 10 files and right click and get info? LOTS of get info windows.

where can i find infos about CC for teams (or whatever the name is)?
is the licensing still done via files for CC or do we need a internet connection to activate the software?
at least there must be a way to download all CC apps at once and install them or create a deployment package?

You do need an internet connection for authenticating once every 99 days with "Teams". It's been announced that there is going to be a way for IT to package and deploy packages to users' workstations, but that's not available quite yet.

DVD shows no files but Finder info says DVD is full to the brim

I have a DVD which a friend of mine burned for me; he used a HD-Recorder to record a tv show for me which I missed, but I do not know which model he owns.
When I insert it into my MacBooPro3,1 model with 10.6.1, which does run in 32-bit-mode (I checked!), it is mounted alright. But there are no files or folders to be shown, not in the finder and not in terminal. On the other hand, the Finder info tells me that 2 GB are used.
The solution posted here (http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?messageID=10533178#10533178) seems not to work. Could it have to do that it is a DVD-RW?
Any hint would be greatly appreciated!

Most likely the video content is in a format that works only one the device originally used to record/view.

You can see the Info record number on the ME22n.to check scroll to the right for same line item and you will fine the info number if not then at the left corner PO item screen you will see the table setting button (kind of table symbol) click on that button and on the Popup screen hit the administrator button and here you can make the info record visible if someone had made invisible.
save activate and if you want the user specific then enter the varian tans sve other wise use same variants and save it. then it will appears on the screen

Guess I need to clarify my question.
I am using iTunes for Mac. At the top of the window, below the title of the song are two symbols which I am assuming are (on the left) for sequential play and (on the right) for shuffle. Below, next to the name of my playlist is also a symbol for shuffle. I cannot figure out how these relate and how to change the selection. At the moment the shuffle symbol in the song title window is blue and the "sequential" symbol at the other end of the play bar is gray. It is shuffliing thru the play list.

Can't find Centered look with Top Menu
In SharePoint 2013 (with O365 subscription), when I go to Site > Change the look I see mainly two types of layouts:
1. Left aligned with top menu
2. Centered with left-side menu
Is this some sort of best practice? I'm trying to find a "look" that is centered (or full screen) with top menu - which seems to be the most common in most cloud CMS'es out there. Is there one in-built?
I tried modifying the Stylesheet by adding margin:0 auto; to
.ms-pub-contentLayout class, but that did not make any difference. Any help greatly appreciated!
PS: After clicking submit on this post in previous attempt few minutes ago I got Internal Server Error.

RAW files look corrupted with color streaking during import

During import in Lightroom about 25% of my files look corrupted (with color streaks, etc.). The RAW images upload perfectly in iPhoto on the same computer but for some reason will become corrupted in Lightroom. I am able to delete the corrupted images in the LR Library and reload them with about a 50% success rate. I've tried different memory cards, cf importers, etc. Only an issue in LR. Sometimes they export with the streaking and other times they export perfectly fine. Even if they export fine it makes it impossible to edit in LR. Below is an example of how the image appears. Any answers?

Raw files have a camera-embedded JPG.
I would guess the files are corrupt, LR is showing you this corruption, while other programs are only interpreting the JPG and hiding the corruption.
Can you upload one of these photos that iPhoto shows as ok, while LR shows corruption? Upload one to www.dropbox.com <http://www.dropbox.com> and post a public download link, here.

Ah yes, your aim must be exact! Incidently, as long as we're there in the title bar, there is another little secret up there: the wee little "proxy" icon in front of the name. You can actually do things with it. For instance, you can click and hold (pause for a half of second until it turns gray), now drag it to the Desktop, and you'll get an alias to the file. If you press the Option key while you drag you'll get a new copy of the file. Wait, there's more! Say you have a Safari window open, to this page perhaps, and you want to save the Safari page to the same folder as the file you have open in Preview. Bring up the Safari save dialog sheet, grab the proxy icon on the open file, drag 'n drop it into the Safari Save navigation section, and presto, the folder the file is in will be the one displayed in the Safari save pane. You can do this with the proxy icons anywhere, including those in a Finder window. So if you have a folder open, you can drag its proxy icon into the save or open navigation section of a program, and there you are. Saves you time navigating to something you already have open in one place (the Finder) from your program. I use it all the time.

Can not find info on iPhoto11

I can't find my photos in the Aperture import, and the iPhoto info no longer gives you the file location. In fact the photo info is extremely limited now, or just in a different spot. Cannot see half the stuff I could see in 09. I'm really new to this stuff, I was just getting the hang of iPhoto 09 when I upgraded to macbook pro.

Hi Senthil ,
You have your field description along with your Field right.
For example:MATNR - Material Number
Now take this description and go to your BW side Tcode:RSA1
1)Search in Modelling >> Infoobjects >> Material Number
Then you get few hits (matches) which have description matched.
For Example: 0material - Material Number
Check for the Length and type match.
You will understand once you get those hits as to which is related to yours.
2)Go to BI content and search in the infoobjects this has all active and inactive objects but this takes a little time (not much though).
3) You have meta data search / simple search also where you can search for the objects with field description as matching criteria.
Hope your doubt is cleared atleast to some extent.

Finder toolbar icons corrupted after upgrading to 10.5.5

Hi,
After upgrading to Mac OS X 10.5.5 from 10.5.4, the icons of the Finder and Safari toolbars got somewhat mixed up. For example, the "Previous" button shows the bluetooth logo intead of an arrow pointing towards the left, the "Next" button shows a sort of portrait of a man in a frame, and the "Reload" button shows a muted speaker. This occurs everywhere those icons would usually appear in Mac OS X (e.g. also in the System Preference toolbar for the next and previous buttons, etc).
Would you know what caused this, and how I could restore the correct icons? Where are those icons stored on my machine?

I am having the exact same problem. Right now I am using Safari, and instead of the normal symbols for Back, Forward, Home, Autofill, Reload and Add Bookmark, I have what looks like bluetooth, contact, theatre, back, mute and a symbol of a megaphone.
The back and forward buttons in Finder look the same as they do in Safari. However, there are a few toolbar icons in Finder that look as they should, for example Quick View. I read somewhere about the folder /System/Library/CoreServices/Finder.app -> Ctrl-click and Show Package Contents -> Contents/Resources which contains what looks like some toolbar icons. However, it only contains some icons that I would expect to see, not the ones I am actually seeing.
And in my case too this happened when I updated to 10.5.5. The only odd things about my Mac that I can think of that might be related are:
a) I have a PowerPC Mac (a G5, as it happens) and 10.5 "Leopard". This is an unusual combination.
b) The 10.5.5 update did not work through Software Update and I had to download the standalone installer.
c) I recently installed Virtual PC 7, which doesn't work 100% with Leopard.
I have recently run Repair Disk Permissions and Verify Disk, but I will run them again anyway. If I don't post an update saying that that fixed it, assume that it didn't.

CANT FIND FILE OR CORRUPT

I am having more and more trouble opening up files in 4.5. It used to happen infrequently, now it is happing often, like 5 times today. When I open the Xcelsius file it will think for some time and then tell me the file is missing or corrupt, then when you click OK, it says excel is busy. Then it gets in the loop. You have to act like you are opening up another file to get it to stop. It is beginig to happen on every other file. Then my CPU will start screaming and it will seize up if I do not shut it down quickly.
What is strange is in the past, I could go to a back up file and recreate. Today though, I went to same type of template in different folder and even went about 5 weeks back on back up and still get same error. I know this is not right because one of the files I had backed up last friday and worked on it on tuesday, but it still says that friday run was not good. The file it says it cannot find just ran in numerical order for the 6 time or so I tried to pulll it up, like im59.xlms. Something on the like, but the excel files for each template were all save separately, some in different folders. Does not make since that all files for a particular timeplate would all be corrupt, when saved at differents times and places.
I have downloaded all service paks and hot fixed.
When I try to open in Xcelsius 2008, I get same message.
I have many many templates and many many hours invested, I an now afraid to try to open more, not sure if problem in software is causing this or not. I hate to invest time to rebuild, as I have the last 3 days because it could happen to them.
I have looked through other strings and the only answer that was close was other instnaces of excel running, but I have look in task manager and no other excel running.
At one time I thought this might be caused by having excel (2007) open first, but I now make sure I open Xcelsius first, no help today.
I have also wondered if it has something to do with moving from a model with old excel to a model with excel 2007 or vice versa????
I have had 4.5 for about 2 years and got 2008 at begining of 2008
Any help would be greatly appreciated I am getting very frustrated.

It seems that 4.5 is somewhat unstable. After going throught a paid case of tech support for the last 5 days, there is no solution. It could and most likely will continue to happen. I am going to migrate to 2008 and import and rework all old models then delete 4.5 in the future.
