Finder Screen Hidden

My 2009 Macbook runs OS 10.7.5. The finder screen frequently gets 'lost' behind other open programmes.  It can be seen as one moves to and from  dashboard mode but cannot be  activated. Anyone got any ideas?

You could check the Finder preference settings to select a different result
later when you click on the Finder icon in the Dock. There are options.
Sometimes if you force-quit Finder, it may be troublesome to relaunch.
At that point, one may be faced with single-user command line means
of making the Dock work normally. A new set of issues, if not necessary.
Since I seldom completely cover the desktop (main finder) with contents
from previous experience, I try to leave a place there where I can click
on the background to get Finder back on Top. There may be a keyboard
shortcut to make Finder be on the top of priority. Some F keys may help.
Good luck!

  • How do I find my hidden/missing photos?

On my iPhone4 my Camera Roll is showing 925 photos, which I have recently backed up to my computer. However iTunes shows I have 2103 photos using 4.47 gb. On my phone under settings>general>usage>photos & camera it shows that I have used 4.6 gb. And on my phone under settings>general>about>photos it shows 2,065.
This is my 2nd iPhone, which replaced the 1st iPhone4 when it had a problem and stopped working.  I am missing a whole lot of pictures, and so the over 2000 number makes sense.  I just don't know how to find the hidden/missing photos.
Can anyone help me with this?

I think your numbers add up --- as follows:
iTunes says you have 2.103 photos.  I claim they consist of:
925 photos on your Camera Roll
178 photos in your Photo Library
1,000 photos in your Photo Stream
    2,103 total photos
If you're having trouble finding the Photo Stream photos, maybe this will help:

  • How to find screen no. of a pop-up window?

    Hi friends,
Any one can let me know, How to find the screen no. of pop-up window?
    Thank,
    Punjaala

To find screen no of a pop-up screen, in debuggin mode give break point at call screen statement.
Usually pop-ups would be called by call screen starting in (x,y) cordinates. so it'll stop at that point.
you can find out the pop-up details there.

  • IMac G5 - Pixelated Finder screen

    Hi guys,
Wondered if anyone can shed any light on this. I keep getting a pixelated finder screen - not all over but as if the screen hasn't rendered properly. It happens infrequently when I boot up in the morning & it also occured when the computer was running the black swirly screensaver - I clicked the mouse & it left a kind of line of black pixels. If I do a re-start it seems to be okay. The compuer itself seems to be running okay - I'm using quark, illustrator, photoshop, entourage etc.
This morning I had a bit of a scary moment: Booted up & again there were traces of white/grey pixels. When I booted up entourage, it opened as a black image. It allowed me to quit. I went to the finder menu & restart & the restart box came up as as a black box. I clicked in the area where I knew the okay button was & the computer restarted fine.
Anyone any idea what is going on? Do I need a new graphics card? The computer is only 15 month old. Surely it can't be on it's way out already? We've had some really hot weather - do you think it's the heat?
Any help greatly appreciated, I'm working for myself here at home & it's a lonely thing when your main business tool starts going a bit wappy!
    Thanks in advance, Mel

Mine too! Within the last week the screen started flickering and has now settled into an almost monochrome blue. My photoshop defaults are white and blue; even the flurry screen saver is on a field of blue. What gives? The RGB now seems mostly B.
My iMac g5 17'' display has turn bluish, but when i
connect an external display it seems fine. Does
    anyone know what's wrong?

  • Calling Oracle Standard Form from OAF page - Need to hide the find screen.

    Hi all,
i have a requirement where i need to call a oracle standard form(D2K form) from OAF page and need to pass parameter. Now i can able to call a form from page on button click using the following syntax,
    "form:AR:US_AR_SUPER_USER:STANDARD:AR_ARXCWMAI_AGE"
My query here is, When i call this form its open with find Form and after values are entered it goes the main form.
I need to hide this find screen which is avaiable in standard and need to call directly the main form with out find form.
Please help me out to reach this.
    Thanks in advance.
    Regards,
    Renu

You need to pass the parameter to the actual form to display the results something like "form:AR:US_AR_SUPER_USER:STANDARD:AR_ARXCWMAI_AGE&P_PARAM=123", assuming P_PARAM is the actual parameter defined in the form. Open the form and check which parameters are available and pass the values accordingly.
    Thanks

  • When adding an attachment, the files I see in the finder-screen are not up to date

I want to attach a file to a new message. When I attach it via the button in het message-screen a finder screen will open. The files in here are not up to date. For example, a just added file is not visible. When I brouwse to the same folder by using the Finder itself at this time I will see the up-to-date files and can add them to the message by using drag and drop. So, I have found a solution but I still think this is a bug.
See both screenshots, one is the folder "3 metingen" in the Thunderbird finder screen. the second is the same shown in Finder. More and accuate files are visible in Finder.
    Thanks for your time.
    Rogier.

Both are OSX windows. Thunderbird just asks the operating system to open a windows of that type, so why the operating system would offer up such weirdness I have no idea. Under windows F5 forces and update, I wonder if it does on OSX?

  • Issue with Method to find Screen Exit

    Hi all,
I am planning to add 2 custom fields to item details tab in ME51N .
I tried to find screen exits using development class of ME51N i.e ME
I went to smod and tried to find enhancements using ME development class and from the list of enhancements i tried to find a screen exit but i could found one.
    I found an enhancement
MEREQ001   Customers' Own Data in Purchase Requisition
Which had a screen exit  as well and this is what i was exactly looking for.
    But my question is that
MEREQ001 is under development class MEREQ
So that means the way i was trying to find the screen exits is wrong or is there a better way to find screen exits
    Let me know

  • Making Finder display 'hidden' files i.e. dot-files

Is it possible to have Finder display (hidden) dot-files? (This used to be possible via a Preference in 'Step so one wonders why the OS X people actually eliminated this extremely useful feature.) If you have to go to the Terminal and do cp and mv, it defeats the purpose of Finder. (Consider that Smith Micro's excellent faxing utility keeps all faxes inside a 'dot-folder'.) Surely there is a crypto dwrite?

'defaults write com.apple.finder AppleShowAllFiles 1' does it -- that's what I was looking for. Also, no need to mess with Script Editor or stop/start Finder: simply write the 'dwrite' on the command-line (i.e. in a Terminal window) and then, due to the lack of Update/Refresh in Finder (which was available in 'Step), click a couple of times on a folder or two in a Finder window to force a refresh. And the job's done. (And, as the respondent said, to turn it off, write the 'dwrite' again with a trailing 0.)

  • How to find *screen badi*

    hi,
i know how to find exits and badi for a particular transaction.
i just wanted to know how we can find screen badi for a specific transaction.(ex: mb_migo_badi for migo transaction)
can any one give suggestions in this issue.if possible send any documentation.
note:plz dont send the same old program to find exits and badis.

    See point 8
    Procedure
           1.      Start the Object Navigator (SE80).
           2.      Open an enhancement spot. For more information, see Creating, Editing, and Deleting Enhancement Spots.
           3.      Select the Enh. Spot Element Definitions tab page.
           4.      Choose Create BAdI.
    A dialog box appears.
           5.      Enter a name and a short text for the BAdI.
BAdIs are in the same namespace as global data types from the ABAP Dictionary, global classes, or interfaces. For BAdIs, we recommend using the prefix u201CBADI_u201D (or u201CZBADI_u201D, and so on, in the customer namespace).
The new BAdI appears as a node in the tree display of the tab page.
           6.      On the right-hand side of the page, do the following:
                                a.      Enter the attribute for multiple use.
                                b.      Enter the instance creation mode.
                                c.      Enter the attribute for internal SAP BAdIs (only SAP internal use).
                                d.      Optional: Enter a Fallback Class.
                                e.      In the tree, expand the BAdI and choose the Interface node. Enter the name of an existing BAdI.
           7.      Optional: Choose the function Create Filter to create a filter.
    Here you can:
                                a.      Enter the filter name, filter type, and description.
                                b.      Optional: If you choose Constant Filter Value During Call, you may only specify a constant value at the respective filter when using GET BADI. This is provided for future performance improvements of the statement.
                                c.      Optional: Enter either a data element or a domain with fixed values, or a search help. Alternatively, enter a check or input help class, and a length (together with decimal places). In this way, the filter values specified at GET BADIcan be checked during the BAdI implementation.
           8.      Optional: Choose the function Create Screen Enhancement in order to create the BAdI as a screen enhancement.
The BAdI must not be of a multiple use type.
                                a.      Enter Calling Program, Screen Number, Subscreen Area, and Description.
                                b.      Optional: Select Default Value to specify a screen of a program that is used if no active implementation is found at runtime.
           9.      Optional: Choose Create Function Code Enhancement to create the BAdI as a function code enhancement.
The BAdI must not have any filters and must not be of the type for multiple use.
                                a.      Enter Program, Function Code, and Description.
                                b.      Optional: Select Default Value to specify an icon, a menu text, a pushbutton text, and a quick info, all of which are used when no active implementation is found at runtime.
       10.      Optional: Create an example implementation.
                                a.      Select the BAdI, and choose Create Example Class from the context menu.
                                b.      Enter the name of a BAdI implementation class and a description.

  • How to find screen exits?

    Hello,
I want to know the procedure to find out the Screen exits available for a particular Txcode? Please to know this Concept.
    Thks

    Hi,
    Finding Screen Exit:
    1. in se11, goto table MODSAP
    View table contents
    2. in Type field, enter 'S' (for screen exit)
    3. For that tcode, u should know the program name
    or the CALLING SCREEN.
    eg. SAPLLMOB
    4. then type SAPLLMOB* and execute
    For Further:
ERPGenie.COM -> SAP Technical -> ABAP -> Tips and Tricks -> SAP ABAP Field Exits
V4.6c onwards no longer supports field exits!!! In any case here's how to activate them:
Activation of the field exits and assignment of the dynpros is carried out using program RSMODPRF. For this purpose, the program must be started without parameters (input fields remain blank).  If required, new field exits can be created using program RSMODPRF (see below for documentation).
    Field Exits for Data Elements
    Description
Maintenance transaction for creating and activating field exits
As part of the extension concept, SAP allows you to install a field exit for each screen field. Similar to the conversion exit, the system branches at the field exit at DCI (DATA COMMUNICATIONS INPUT) to a function module, if the field is an input field and a function code was triggered. The function module must adhere to the following naming convention:
    Prefix: FIELD_EXIT_
    Infix: <Data element name>
    Suffix: _0 to _9 (optional), _A to _Z
The interface is automatically generated during the creation of the function module, and has 2 parameters:
    Import parameter: INPUT
    Export parameter: OUTPUT
After a function code has been triggered the contents of the field are made available to the FB via the "INPUT" import parameter. You can edit this and, when changed, make it available to the ABAP/4 processor in "OUTPUT". The input field contents are usually passed on: you can simply write OUTPUT = INPUT.
If, e.g., you have activated the field exit for the data element 'PROGRAM', then the fields of all the screens, which refer to the data element 'PROGRAM', branch to the function module FIELD_EXIT_PROGRAM. This includes the field 'Program' of the initial screen SAPMS38M0100 in transaction SE38, for example.
If you do not want the function module to be accessed from all screens, assign particular screens to the data element PROGRAM. By allocating an exit number, it is also possible to branch to other function modules with the corresponding suffix _0 ... _Z.
Example: You have assigned screen SAPMS38M0100 and exit number 5 to data element 'PROGRAM'. The corresponding field on SAPMS38M0100 branches to FIELD_EXIT_PROGRAMM_5.
As soon as you activate an exit, the corresponding screens are invalidated.
Note: Field exits are only taken into account during screen generation if the parameter abap/fieldexit = 'YES' is set in the system profile.
    Requirement
Set the profile parameter abap/fieldexit = 'YES' before system start.
    Limitations
The following ABAP statements are not allowed in the function modules of field exits:
    BREAK-POINT,
CALL SCREEN, CALL DIALOG, CALL TRANSACTION, SUBMIT,
    COMMIT WORK, ROLLBACK WORK,
    COMMUNICATION RECEIVE,
    EXIT FROM STEP-LOOP,
    MESSAGE I, MESSAGE W.
    Note:
Field exits cannot be edited with the debugger.
You should not use any external Performs in field exits. The ABAP processor shares the table work areas of externally called programs with those of the first caller. This could lead to errors at field exits that can hardly be analyzed, as field exits are sometimes slipped into the flow of the program at unforeseen events.
Questions and answers on field exits
    1. A field exit was created with the CMOD and activated, but it does not get executed when the screen is called.
Since the field exit is not executed until DCI, some action must occur in the screen (e.g. press Return, saving....).
Set the abap/fieldexit profile parameter to YES and start the system again.
After the FIELD_EXIT... function module has been activated and the field exit has been activated, the transaction in whose screen the field exit is to be executed must be terminated. The screen is not generated until it is called.
Do not work on different application servers, otherwise there may be a delay before the field exit becomes active.
The profile parameter must be set either on all application servers or on none.
If the field exit is to be active in certain screens only, then you should check whether you have selected the correct program and the correct screen number (Careful with SUBSCREENS Do not rely on the F1 information for the field!
    2. How does setting abap/fieldexit affect the performance?
If a screen is generated and the profile parameter is set, then the system checks in 2 tables (TDDIR, TDDIRS) to see whether a field exit has to be generated for the field. In practice the screen load after a Put is not generated until the screen is called. The user will not experience a noticeable delay, since screen generation is extremely fast.
    3. Can the contents of other screen fields be read in a field exit?
In principle all fields can be copied to global variables in the TOP or the function group. However, since the order in which the field exits are called is not guaranteed, this possibility should not be used.
    4. How does the field exit work in step-loop fields?
After data input to DCI the field exit will be called as many times as fields are visible on the step-loop. The SY-STEPL system variable is incremented each time. If a new value is assigned to be field, then it will be visible in the module between LOOP. ENDLOOP. This module will also be called as many times as there are visible step-loop lines.
    5. Can field exits be debugged?
No. Field exits have to be tested in isolation in the development environment. To analyze problems that occur only in the screen environment, the relevant variables can be written to the file system using TRANSFER... and can be analyzed there.
    6. What should one do if the field contents are not getting transported to ABAP/4?
Check whether you have assigned a value to the OUTPUT field.
    7. When does the field exit get called in the case that there is a conversion exit attached to the data element?
The field exit will be called after the conversion exit. This means that the INPUT field contains the data in the same form as that in which the ABAP/4 program also gets them.

    Shiva Kumar

    Hello Srinivas,
Once the value is retrieved into the variable , based on whether you need collapse or not you can put ur SAPGUI recording inside the loop and continue ur operation.
    eg:
say currently its collapse and u need collapse to carryout ur process
    IF ( RC = "COLLAPSE HEADER CTRL+F5" ).
    your process (SAPGUI recording)
ELSE (if its expanded and u need collapse)
call the script to collapse or you can record to collapse and the continue your process
    ENDIF.
Hope this answers your question , let me know if not.
    Thanks & Best regards,

    1. Is it because of the signer Issue, I am getting the other error -"*Unable to find screen: oracle.retail.sim.shared.swing.itemticket.ItemTicketDetailScreen*"
    2. How do I resolve the signer issue,

    to fix the signer issue
    1) open the jar which contains required class file( i mean the one which gets called when u click on item tick button)
    in winrar software
    2) and remove below files
    manifest.mf and mykey.sf or somthing.sf
then resign your jar and deploy it.
i hop this would work fine.
some time what happen when we sign the jar it does not removes old sign instead removing it enter one more entry in that file
    hence it has two entry.
its better to follow above steps.
