Findflashmediaandkeepout 601 physical nand block offset 1

A couple days ago, my phone got slightly wet. I soaked it in rice for a day then let it sit in a fairly warm room/area to air dry for most of the next day. The tird day, I looked over my phone and saw that it appeared to be completely dry so I allowed it to charge. When I plugged it up, I saw the usual Apple logo then 2 seconds later an error message popped up at the top of the screen. This is the main phrase: "findflashmediaandkeepout 601 physical nand block offset 1"
Seconds later, the message would disappear, but the Apple logo would remain for a few moments, disappear, reappear, etc. The phone is unresponsive to the pressing of just one button (home or power), and shuts off for a maximum of 25 seconds when pressing the buttons in unison.
I know I should take this to the Geniuses but I'm in desperate need of  answers now.. Can anybody help me fix my phone or even help me understand what this error code means?????

Hi mmmaaaaany,
Welcome to the Apple Support Communities!
If your iPhone is unresponsive after getting slightly wet, it may be necessary to have your iPhone evaluated for repair. If you choose to set up the repair, you can follow the links on the attached website to set it up.

It's always risky opening an iPhone, which is why Apple considers it serious enough so they won't fix a phone that has been opened. This error means that the SSD memory control has detected a failure. It could be a flex not inserted fully, but it could also have been a static discharge when the case was opened because whoever did the repair did not do it on a copper ground plane and/or was not properly grounded him or her self. It's really pretty much impossible to diagnose a hardware fault without proper test equipment. If the front camera problem occurred before the phone was opened it is unlikely to be related to this newest problem. You can check for water damage by removing the SIM card and looking in the empty SIM slot with a bright light. If you don't see any red dots then water probably did not get into the phone, so that would be one less concern.
What happens if you do a reset (hold the HOME and SLEEP buttons at the same time until an Apple logo appears)?

I've seen a few other people who have also had this issue, and their problem turned out to be some kind of camera flex thing, or a main logic board. I have an iPhone 5C iOs 8. I get that weird error message when trying to turn my phone on, after it randomly turned off this morning. Recently, I did have the screen replaced (for the second time) by a THIRD Party. Yes I know, I've voided the warranties, blah, blah blah, please don't crucify me. Now, the phone will bring up the apple logo on a black screen, but it does nothing. I'be tried to restart etc, and may have accidentally wiped out my phone by putting it in recovery mode. But oh well. Also worth noting is that my front camera hasn't worked in a few months, but I did nothing about it. Could the front camera problem be related to this? I also dropped my phone in the sink last night, but it was in its life proof, dried immediately and kept working fine. I have had nothing but problems with this phone, and if anyone has any advice, PLEASE HELP. Thanks.

I don't believe any of us here can do anything to help you other than to suggest that you take the device back to the third-party that did the repair and have them do the repair correctly.

You're seriously trying to use an electronic device that's been in contact with water????
You do know that since th beginning of time water and electricity don't mix, right?
Start being smart and top trying to use it NOW, and put it in a bag of rice for a week.

If you can turn it off, do so and put the device in a sealed bag of uncooked rice for 3-5 days. After that, you can try and charge it and see if it will work. If not, you will need to purchase an OOW (out of warranty) replacement. See this link for costs in your area. Go to the Warrant & Service pricing section after selecting your area.

I'm sorry but this item is 1 year and a few months old? damage to nand is not something you'd expect from normal wear and tear and therefore not caused by you. I'd contact Apple again. Be pushy, write emails, ring them. There are people who'd be able to replace this but finding them is the problem. good luck

Thanks pollytintop for your advice- I’m still keeping looking forward how to fix it. Will not this item (ipad) throw become rubbish due to damaged that do not know cause and cannot repair or fix it? Hope somebody highlighted this issue to Apple (the best customer service ). Thanks

  • Flash media and keepout 600 physical nand black offset 1

My screen is frozen and this is the message at the top of the screen. Help~please!

Any physical or liquid damage to the iPhone?
    First try a reset:
    - hold the home button and sleep/wake button down at the same time
    - the iPhonw qill turn off(keep holding) then as soon as you see the Apple logo appear release both buttons
If the issue remains then try plugging it into a PC/Mac with iTunes and see if it will be recognised. If it is recognised then back it up and then restore to factory settings. If all steps fail then [book an appointment at an Apple Store to have the iPhone evaluated.
    All the best

  • Physical inventory block in material master

    Hi
In Material Master, Plant/Storage location stock view, there is  a field "physical inventory block".
I want ot remove the block to one of the materials.
How to edit the field. In change mode (MM02), the whole view is in diplay mode only.
    any suggestions please
    regards
    prasad

    Hi,
It seems there is on PID (Physical inventory document)document active for that material.
To remove block indicater for material Goto transaction MI22 there you can find whcich PID document active for material.
Then take the PID document complete the physical inventory process else you can delete PID document through MI02 transaction.
    PID steps:
    MI01 create PID document
    MI04  Enter inventory Count
    MI11 enter recount.
    MI07 Post  Inventory differencess.
    Hope this would help,

  • Oracle VM Migrating virtual disk images to physical disks (block devices)

    Hi,
For performance reasons, I'd like to migrate my .img file based virtual disks into physical partitions for VM's.
What is the safest possible way to migrate all partitions (including / partition) from a virtual disk to a block device?
    Thanks,
    Onur

    hobeygo wrote:

Your VMs need to be offline while you do this. Once you've done this, you can use Oracle VM Manager to remove the original .img file and replace it with the physical block device copy. This is low-risk, as the .img file will still be there if the new block device doesn't work.
Keep in mind that you will need a unique block device for every .img file you have.
