Finding a Logic 7 Environment to control my MicroQ
Hi people, this is my first post in apple discussions forums.
I need an environment that contains all necessary to control the waldorf microq (like sounddiver style)... I found a perfect Logic4 one but is not compatible with L7 and is also protected (so I cannot unpack macro to get them in L7)
Think a Logic6 compatible one could be good as well. Were could I find something?
Thanks!
g
Thank you. That's something, even though the option is only there in Logic 8. Also, say that I wanted to use the BCF2000 to control Totalmix and my Logic Control for Logic. How do I get to bypass only the BCF? It must be quite a common scenario, so there must be a way.

(or better yet, to Microsoft's web site or to a local book store)

At least do a Google search on it. -
How to find the logical filename for the given ARCHIVE object.
I want to know the logical file name of FI_FICA object.
Can any one guide me.
Thanks,
ShreeHi Sree,
I don't have SAP system right now to check it.
I think if you know the physical path, logical path can be found.
Please check this thread for further reference.

Eclipse give following error :could not find Java 2 runtime environment
When I try to start eclipse it is giving me following error could not find Java 2 runtime environment. It was working fine untill I installed a new verson of eclipse although I am not whethar that is the source of problem.
When i give java -version command in command prompt it shows
Registry key 'Software\JavaSoft\Java Runtime Environment\CurrentVersion'
has value '1.4', but '1.6' is required.
Error: could not find java.dll
Error: could not find Java 2 Runtime Environment.
My java Home ,classpath , and path are all set as I say it was earliar woking fine.
Please Help.I know this is a relatively old post, but some people can stumble on this page when doing a search for this problem.
Anyway, I ran into this on my PC after I installed Sybase which had an older jre.
Solution:
1. Run regedit
2. Look for Java Runtime Environment
You may have to do multiple searches. Eventually you'll find one with the version number.
3. Modify the value and change it to the correct version number. (in your case, you would have changed it from 1.4 to 1.6).
This is much quicker than reinstalling Java every time installing something that uses an older version of Java hoses up the registry value. -
Finding "Default Logical System Name Model Instance" in DC Project
Hi,
While Creating an Adaptive RFCModel, one defines the
Default Logical System Name for Model Instance & the
Default Logical System Name for RFCMetadata.
In which file can I find these settings at a later stage in the Project File Structure.
Ofcourse, I can view them in the WedynproContentAdministrator under the Jco Destinations.
But is there anyway to access them in the NWDS?
Regards
MKHello MK,
You'll find the Logical System Names of the JCo destinations in the file ".wdproperties" under the project structure.

Where can I find a logic board for iMac G5 17" (EMC No. 1989) Apple Part
HI Where can I find a logic board for iMac G5 17" (EMC No. 1989) Apple Part #: 661-3290, 661-3351?
Thanks--makes life easier!
I found DV Warehouse has a number of G5 logic boards but none had the exact model number:
http://www.dvwarehouse.com/iMac-G5-Logic-Board-c-4771.html&pltid=05fedd9f246e2a1 dbc9f35cd6712e781
They have a toll-free number. You could ask if another board # would be compatible.
Another option is to contact recylers or schools shucking off older gear. Using the enigma of " A used computer is worth more parted out," you might be able to pick up another G5 cheaper than its LB. Unless the LB had the dreaded "leaky capacitor" failure, most computers don't get discarded for a bad LB. -
i am not able to find the "logical shift" function anywhere on the functions palette (after searching EVERY where). however, i discovered the function elsewhere in another VI (by pure luck!). i could keep bringing up these VI and copying and pasting, but that's a pain...i'd like to just have it on my functions palette to begin with.
i am running labview 6.1 thanks for your help.hi,
LabVIEW's functions pallete has come with a very useful tool --> "Search" tool
Make use of the "Search" tool should you encounter difficulty in locating the desired function. For instants, search for keyword "Logical" or "Shift" and you will be able to locate the function
happy coding

How to find VI's connected terminals when controls are hidden on the front panel?
When working with a sub-VI which has terminals connected to hidden controls is there a straight-forward way to find the terminals on the block diagram?
I click on the terminal and an outline appears on the front panel but when I try to click on that outline I can not unhide the control.
The only way I have discovered to find the terminal of the connected control is just check each terminal on the block diagram which looks like it might be connected.
I'm using LV7.1 but also use 8.5.
Thanks,

If I understood the premise of the question it sounds like you have controls/indicators wired to the VI connector pane, but for some reason these controls/indicators are hidden. If this is a VI you wrote slap yourself. If this is a VI someone else wrote, go slap them.
One way that you can find the terminals on the block diagram by performing a search by text. The context help will show you the names of the controls/indicators. The only problem with this approach is that if the control/indicator has the caption visible rather than the label, then the context help will show the caption, not the label.
Another method is to use scripting. Not sure if it's worth the effort for just one VI, though.
Before we get all slap-happy I have to ask...
If I have a sub-VI which is set for Print on completion and the controls in/out for the icon connector are NOT supposed to show up on the final report, isn't setting those objects as hidden a viable option?
Ben
Well, of course, Ben. My comment was not meant to be taken seriously... hence the smiley happy icon. To respond to your question in a more serious matter, though, there's always exceptions to rules. That's why they're rules - they're meant to be broken. Otherwise they wouldn't be rules. It's a strange state of the universe, isn't it? Although, one could probably just place the control behind another object. That sort of hides it, doesn't it? -

Hi all,
I'm new to OA Framework. I can work with forms, but now i have to find the logic under a specific JSP. I want to see what's happening when a button in that JSP is pressed. Does anybody can help me with this? I'm using Oracle E-Business Suite R12.1.3. Do i have to open one of the specific components of the MVC structure? I can find the query of the JSP via "About This Page" but i want the program logic - not only the SQL.
Thanks in advance,
Bahchevanov.Hi Bahchevanov,
As you rightly noted, you can only view the components/queries involved but not the actual logic which is coded in the pages from the 'About This Page' link. If you want behind-the-scenes logic, you have to copy the components over to your local machine and access them using JDeveloper. This is the recommended approach. Please check the documents on how to extend OA Framework pages for more details.

How do I find the Quick time active x control?
I can run run quick time when I am the user but when my husband is the user, he gets the message"could not load or find the Quick Time Active X control.
dell Windows XPHi Pedro d,
Yes but no! I have tried everything step by step several times. Researching Error 46 on the web is scary business!! The gangsters are out in force on this one, begging to take your money! From a couple of trusted sites I have been able to make this much clear at least for Vista users, I'm using Windows 7 but I think they relate:
"Since the issue causing the Error 46 is that QuickTime registry entries don't have the correct permissions set, the repair is to go and reset all the incorrect permissions. However, this is a long and tedious process. The SubInACL tool from Microsoft (see the link in Resources) can change the permissions as a batch. The batch is defined by a CMD file that lists all of the registry keys to be changed. Once SubInACL is installed on your computer, move the CMD file with all the registry changes into the same folder, typically C:\Program Files\Windows Resource Kits\Tools. Right-click the CMD file, choose "Properties," check "Run this Program in Compatibility Mode" and select "Windows Vista (Service Pack 2)" from the drop-down menu. Click "OK." Do the same for SubInACL. When you're done, double-click on the CMD file and it will run. Your error should be gone."
I don't have the expertise to do this, do you? I wish that Apple or someone would take the bull by the horns and fix this because what I've read their are a lot of people having this problem. Any thoughts on this matter would be greatly appreciated.
Kindly,

Logic Pro Environment Templates for Various Ensembles
I'm an old salt that started composing digitally only last year - always composed for live performance prior to this. Been tweaking VSL for eight months trying to find the right combination of Logic Pro plug-ins and settings on those plug-ins for a traditional romantic symphony ensemble (a typical Dvorak or Maller symphony instrumentation - not much different than a lot of modern movie instrumentations.) I've played in and been around highest level orchestras most of my life and am very frustrated trying to find the right combination of plug-ins to create realistic sound, not get clipped all the time when all instruments are playing forte passages, etc.
Are there any Environment templates anyone has produced with a set of plug-ins in place? Maybe this sounds sacreligious to some, but if I could get my hands on 10-15 templates of Environment setups people have used successfuly (romantic symphony, classical symphony, string quartet, chamber orchestra, woodwind quintet, movie scoring instrumentation, etc.), I feel like this would save me a few years of failing my way to success digitally.
Sure there are lots of variables that would require me to tweak things endlessaly, but at least I'd be doing it from a base template that has proven to work for at least one person with at least one set of variables with one specific ensemble, as opposed to the endless stream of things I've been trying with no base reference at all.
Help?FYI - I'll even take just one template . Anything to give me reference point for doing my own thing. One way to do this would be to strip out all the track information itself and just email me the naked file with no music in it but the with environment still in place. I would be willing to pay if that's what it takes to get there.
FYI - I'm using Vienns Symphonic Library exclusively right now, but would still be glad to get my hands on some Environments set up for other libraries. Thanks. -
