Finding a page title

I'm trying to build a dynamic page navigation portlet (based on the the three structure of the pages). Like the "Display Child Pages As Links" - functionality.
But I can't find the page titles anywhere.
In the WWPOB_PAGE$ table only the title_id is to be found, and the same goes for the WWPOB_USER_BROWSE_PAGES view. Bu I can't find the actual page titles.
Can anybody help me out ?
Thanks in advance,

As far as using a book of multiple documents, or a single document goes, it's largely a matter of preference and convenience, though there is some element of safety also in using a book -- if one section becomes corrupt, only that section is damaged. It also is much easier to navigate a shorter document.
Presets can hold page size, orientation, margins, bleeds, columns and page counts, but can have only a single master page. Templates can have both multiple document pages and multiple master pages applied, as well as pre-defined styles and color swatches and content objects. A template is a "real" document that can contain anything that any other document may have.
The only difference between a template and a regular InDesign Document is the file extension, which triggers a different default behavior. The .indt extension opens an untitled copy by default so you won't overwrite the template. The .indd extension opens as the original by default. You can convert from one to the other just by changing the extension.

  • Change the Page Title for all the pages when viewing the Reports in Bi Publisher

    Hello ,
    I have a requirement for changing the Page Title for all the report displayed pages on the browser window.

    As far as I know, answer is NO.
    it's very simple answer  Manikandan-S-Oracle
    for 1210326 's requirements there are some places for changes of property "title" and in some pages "title" can be different
    "one place or option for changing" does not exist imho ( may be i'm wrong )
    so you can change places for your needs but not sure what it's adequate
    as example
    ...wls\user_projects\applications\bipdomain\xmlpserver\catalog\navigator.jsp  -->  find <title>
    it changes title in http://somehost:7001/xmlpserver/servlet/catalog
    ... wls\user_projects\applications\bipdomain\xmlpserver\home\home.jsp  -->  find <title>
    it changes title in http://somehost:7001/xmlpserver/servlet/home

  • Page Titles in Web Apps for SEO not possible?

    I was surprised to find that you cannot control the page title of a web app item.
    For example:
    http://tinyurl.com/7qc76gg
    The page title is just "Brazil" and there's no way to control it? Ideally we'd want something like this for SEO reason.
    Business Name - Destinations - Brazil

    You could place the SEO Title in the field "Item Name" and then if you would like a different title for the entry, you can create a custom field.

  • Who Will Be the First to Tweak IE9 To Restore the Page Title into the Title Bar?

    It's a well-known fact that if you disable the tabbed view (i.e., you prefer to use multiple separate windows for your browser pages) the Page Title from whatever web page you visit doesn't show up anywhere.
    How does a blatant omission like this pass a design review?
    It's like someone at Microsoft doesn't think titles belong in Title Bars any more.  Who is this person, and do they actually USE a computer?
    In a similar vein, Windows Explorer windows no longer put the path in the Title Bar -
    unless you use one of the fine aftermarket products such as ShellFolderFix or ClassicShell to restore the Title Bar to service.
    Has anyone figured out yet what to tweak to put the page title in the Window Title Bar for IE9?
    -Noel

    I see I just got another up-vote for the original post in this thread.
    Perhaps it's time to follow up...
    TODAY, with Windows 8.1 and IE11, we see that you can no longer eliminate tabbed view.  Thus there is a place - at the expense of some space for the address bar, where the page
    title appears.  But it is not the Title bar, and it's usually not wide enough to fit the whole title.
    Why is Microsoft continuing to choose to do ANYTHING but follow their own desktop usability standards?
    We see the ongoing departure of application design from standards not only in IE, but also in Office and other Microsoft applications.
    Hey!  We users didn't designate that space across the tops of windows as a title area.  Microsoft did.  We just got used to using it.  When we look to activate the proper window on our desktops, we look at the titles.  Fortunately,
    there are 3rd party developers who make programs to put the right things back, but I'm forced to ask:  Why?  This is not an accident.
    Are we being groomed by Microsoft to become used to and ultimately begin to accept random UI design?
    Microsoft engineers, are you being instructed to make your designs less conformant to desktop usability standards by your bosses?  If so, you need to tell them to kiss your collective asses!  You're not doing your products any favors by following
    such ridiculous advice, and as your products go so will your company.  You are not too big to fail!
    People will only allow themselves to be manipulated for so long.  Then you'll find some other company has made a product that's better (something you're
    facilitating by making your product worse) and is eating your lunch.
    Have a nice day in Redmond.

  • Back, History link on Page Title Bar

    Hi guys,
    Is it possible to
    - move these links (Back, History, <Icons>) from the right side to the left side?
    - change their appearance from links into buttons?
    Thanks In Advance!

    Hi,
    as far as I know it is not possible to customize the page title bar the way you would like to. However, if you really have to realize your requirements you can modify the standard component. Therefore you have to download the PAR file which contains the page tile bar component, modify the PAR file, save it in your namespace and upload the PAR file again. Afterwards you can replace the standard page title bar with your modified page title bar.
    You will find a copy of the original PAR file (com.sap.portal.navigation.pagetoolbar.par.bak) in the following directory of your portal server:
    \usr\sap\<J2E>\<JC01>\j2ee\cluster\server0\apps\sap.com\irj\servlet_jsp\irj\root\WEB-INF\deployment

  • Make Find-on-page reposition at bottom of window again in v.15.0.1

    In previous versions of Firefox, Find-on-page (Ctrl-F) would reposition the page to place the found text at the bottom of the window.
    With version 15, Firefox positions the found text in the middle of the window.
    How can I make Firefox v15 go back to the old system and position the found text at the bottom of the window?

    Hi cor-el,
    Thank you for the information. I let Firefox update automatically and so I must have been on the previous release version before 15.0.1.
    It seems my Ctrl-F feature was someone else's Ctrl-F bug. I'll just have to live with the change as I don't expect Firefox will allow the positioning to be user-specifiable any time soon.
    If anyone's interested in why positioning at the bottom of the window is useful, my application is here:
    http://www.graphicinvestor.com/Funds/Charts/giCharts.htm
    This displays a number of charts with a title line below each one. By finding "[" in the title it was possible to just fit one chart in the window with the title at the bottom of the window - and then step through the charts. Now the charts are half-hidden.
    However, I have a workaround because I also have a checkbox on each title line. Therefore I can still tab from one checkbox to the next. It turns out that tabbing to the next checkbox does position the checkbox's line at the bottom of the window.
    Let's just hope no-one now sees tabbing behaviour as a bug.
    Many thanks again.

  • Unpleasant Page Name in Page Title Bar

    Hi,
    I want to get rid of the page title displayed on the left side of the page title bar.
    I therefore looked after the settings of the default frameworkpage > page title bar and checked the properties of that page.
    Unfortunately I didn't find the right setting here.
    I expected to simply deactivate the option "show object name in tray" but that didn't help.
    We are on EP6 SPS 11
    Any hints?
    Stefan

    Hi Stefan,
    As far as I know, that's the only way. Another option is to not display the Page title bar itself, but with this, the options will also not be displayed (history, back, options...).
    Rajiv
    PS: Just out of curiosity, why don't you want to display the page name?

  • NW2004s: Styles of Page Title bar

    Hello,
    we are in the progress of upgrading our portal to NW2004s (SPS08).
    The pagetitlebar (or pagetoolbar) now has a top border (dark blue in the default theme).
    We want to get rid of that border so I was looking for a style in the theme editor.
    According to <a href="https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/thread?forumID=41&threadID=33223&messageID=318072">this forum thread</a> it is possible to change the background color.
    I've not found any style for the new top border.
    Any information on that one?
    Thanks & regards,
    Alex

    Hi Tatayya,
    Why don't you try to customize your portal theme? I guess you will find appropriate section for page title bar iView in the theme editor where you should be able to change the background color for it.
    Here you'll find more information about changing style parameters for the portal theme:

  • Page Title Hijacked

    I have created a navigation bar using fireworks and exported
    as in GIF format to dreamweaver where I use it in an
    application.cfc. My problem is that now every page I access
    has the name of the navigation bar (navbar.gif) as the title.
    Why is the application.cfc hijacking the page title? How do I
    fix this?
    Find attached the code that in referenced within
    application.cfc that is causing the problem.

    Application.cfc runs at the top of every page request. The
    HTML code you placed in it runs before any HTML code in whichever
    files you're tying to display. By placing this HTML in
    Application.cfc, you're overriding any changes to the HEAD or TITLE
    in your CFM pages.
    <html>
    <head>
    <title>NavBar.gif</title>
    <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html;">
    What you should probably do is break down your HTML into
    smaller files so that you can change the contents of the TITLE tag
    for each page if that's what you want.

  • How to force my Wiki Page Title to get the same value as the wiki page Name

    I am working on an enterprise wiki site collection, and currently each wiki Page will have two properties that seems confusing; Name & Title.
    While the default edit form allow to edit the Wiki Page Name only , it does not provide a way to edit the Title.
    So my question is about how I can update the Wiki Page title to be always equal to the Wiki Page name that the user enters?
    For example when I first create a wiki page I miss-spell the word “Bookmark”, so I wrote the following for the wiki page name:-
    Add Bokkmarks Within a Wiki Page.
    Then I edit the page and I change the name to have a correct spelling, so currently I got the following , where the title is still having the wrong spelling:-
    So that why I am want to find a way to always update the page title to be equal to the page name? can anyone advice on this please?
    Thanks

    Hi
    You can add custom event handlers for doing the same
    The details can be referred in the links

  • Page Title Webcenter

    Dear's,
    When I create a page in WebCenter space, it uses the page name as the title. How do I change the title?
    Thank's

    The page title comes from the Page Style used to create the page, if you view the source of the Page Style, you'll find the af:document tag there. By default it's simply the name of your page.
    If you want your title to be different from the page name, you will have to create a Page Style that incorporates this and use it to create your new pages.

  • "Page Title Bar" back/history design

    Hi,
    Does anyone know how to Bold the back/history commands , in the portal ?
    when I download the Par file of the "Page Title Bar" I cannot tell where are these commands located .
    Regards and thanks
    Hadar

    Hi Hadar,
    First of all wait for an answer on how to do it using theme.
    If you'll not find it, do it the 'hard' way:
    You need to download 'com.sap.portal.navigation.pagetoolbar.par.bak'.
    Inside you'll find a jar file named 'com.sap.portal.navigation.pagetoolbar_core.jar'
    Inside the jar you will the file 'PageToolbar.class'
    Decompile it with jad.
    Edit the following lines in the extracted java file:
    back = (new StringBuffer(200)).append("<a class="urLnkDsbl" id="back" href="javascript:pageTitleBar.Back();"><span class="urTxtStd" id=""><nobr>").append(StringUtils.escapeToJS(PageToolbarHelper.getNLSString("PAGE_TOOLBAR_BACK_LABEL", request))).append("</nobr></span></a>").toString();
    forward = (new StringBuffer(200)).append("<a class="urLnkDsbl" id="forward" href="javascript:pageTitleBar.Forward();"><span class="urTxtStd" id=""><nobr>").append(StringUtils.escapeToJS(PageToolbarHelper.getNLSString("PAGE_TOOLBAR_FORWARD_LABEL", request))).append("</nobr></span></a>").toString();
    Add
    <b>
    and
    </b>
    where needed...
    pack the jar into the par and deploy it...
