Finding a Structure name in Programs
Hi all,
I have a structure - EBAN_ORD_CUST in one server-A and it is being updated by a program in another server - B (this structure is not existing in this server).
I need to find out the program name which is updating in the server-B.
I have searched through 'Where Used List' in Programs in SE11 by giving the Structure name.
But unable to find.
Please let me know with any other procedure we can find the program which is updating this structure.
Thanks in advance
Avanthi Anand.
Hello Avanthi,
You must be doing a RFC from (as you are saying) Server B with Server A as the destination system.
The logic to populate the structure should reside in Server A, as per my understanding.

Suhas

Finding Table Name from Structure Name
Hi All,
Can someone tell me,whats the best/fastest way to find out the Table name where a data gets stored actually,when we know a structure name
Bhavin P ShahHi Bhavin,
The fastest way would be to use the<b> " WHERE USED "</b> option that you find on the application toolbar.
Step:
1. Go to SE11.
2. Enter the Structure Name.
3. Press the <b> " WHERE USED "</b> button.
4. Select "Dictionary Tables.
After that you should get the list of all the Dictionary Tbales that use your structure.
<b>Kindly Reward points if you found the reply helpful</b>.
Cheers,

How to find the Name of Infoset either from Query Name or Program Name
Hi,
I ahve got the program name from the Transaction code of the Query. I also found out the name of the Query but I could not find out the name of the "Infoset". Please help me to find out the name of the Infoset either from the Query Name or from the Program name.
Thanks,
JansHello Christian,
Thank you for your reply. Actually. We have got transaction name of report and from that we found out the name of the Program and from that Program we have utilised the FM to find out the Query name. But we are unable to find the name of Infiset as we have to Download this Infoset from DEV and it is to be uploaded into QUALITY.
But we are not sure about the Infoset.
I could not understand your sentence "When Open it".

Issue in Dynamic Structure and Component Program
Hi,
I have a requirement of creating an inbound idoc program and populating dynamic structures. The program for the dynamic structure creation is as follows: ( I have been referencing Heilmans Blog ): The part for the inbound idoc creation works fine. The data will come in a flat file with Table name and 15 characterstcis. The table name is known at runtime. I need to create the dynamic table, find out the components and then populate the custom table with the dynamically created structures.
Custom table: 4 components
Internal table from file: 15 components with value.
There could be more than one table in the flat file and not all components or char in the flat file is mapped to the table. I would need some expertise in coding the OO part of the program.
Any inputs will be apprciated:
<removed 6845 lines of code (forum software cut off at this point, there was more!) - did you actually expect anyone to read that? Also, please use code tags (the "<>" icon on the toolbar)>
Edited by: Mike Pokraka on Aug 3, 2008 6:15 PMHi,
The program works fine fo creating inbound idocs. It is the dynamic structure population that seems to be the problem mentioned earlier: Here is the code:

How to find out tcode from a program that can run the same report?
Hello all,
I have a program name and I can see it is successfully proccessed. Now if I want to get the report via a tcode, how can I get it?
How can I find the tcode from the program itself?
Regards,Hi,
1) Go into SE80, > Enter the name of the program, and press 'Enter'.
2) You will see a folder called 'Transactions' appearing in the object list on the bottom left.
3) Open the folder, and you'll find T.code of that program.
Thanks,

Moderator message: please think about it before asking, you are naming the selection fields yourself in your program, if still in doubt, just debug your "loop at screen"
Edited by: Thomas Zloch on Nov 9, 2010 12:57 PMI am writing a program where in selection screen there will be two radio button named application server and presentation server when user choose application server screen changes dynamically and the block containg related to appliction server will be displayed in selection screen. to achieve this i have write code like

Problem converting XML back to ABAP Structure using XSLT program
Hi Experts,
I am currently trying to convert this xml file back to my ABAP structure but i have been unsuccessful so far. In XML file contain more than 1 reocrd. But my XSLT program is retriving only only first record. Try to help to get all the records.
Sample XML File:
<soapenv:Envelope xmlns:soapenv="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/" xmlns:soapenv:encodingStyle="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/encoding/" xmlns:xs="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema" xmlns:soapenc="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/encoding/">
<soapenv:Header/>
<soapenv:Body>
<m:matchResponse xmlns:m="http://www.openuri.org/">
<matchResult soapenc:arrayType="xs:string[1]">
<enc:String xmlns:enc="http://www.openuri.org/encodedTypes">
23417|finc|20060427 |BELMETALNERGO||||||X
X|ALL||||20060427|20880808
</enc:String>
</matchResult>
</m:matchResponse>
</soapenv:Body>
</soapenv:Envelope>
My XSLT Program:
<xsl:transform xmlns:xsl="http://www.w3.org/1999/XSL/Transform" xmlns:sapxsl="http://www.sap.com/sapxsl" xmlns:soap="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/" xmlns:hp="http://www.openuri.org/" version="1.0">
<xsl:strip-space elements="*"/>
<xsl:template match="/">
<asx:abap xmlns:asx="http://www.sap.com/abapxml" version="1.0">
<asx:values>
<OUTTAB>
<xsl:for-each select="soapenv:Envelope/soapenv:Header/soapenv:Body/m:matchResponse/matchResult/enc:String">
<ZA2_RPL_DETAILS_S>
<FINAL_RESULTS>
<xsl:value-of select="."/>
</FINAL_RESULTS>
</ZA2_RPL_DETAILS_S>
</xsl:for-each>
</OUTTAB>
</asx:values>
</asx:abap>
</xsl:template>
</xsl:transform>
My Structure is : Structure Name is ZA2_RPL_DETAILS_S.
filed is: FINAL_RESULT CHAR553
My requirement is to store the complete value between <String> and </String>.
Currently it is giving the blank records
Thanks for your help in advance.

Dynamic structure names in cfloop
I have designed a web application that allows users to enter
a number of records on one form – for example computer
skills. The user can add up to 20 different computer skills.
On another form, the user’s recorded computer skills
are shown as a number of dynamic checkboxes. One computer skill
means the user sees one checkbox. Twenty computer skills means the
user sees 20 checkboxes. I have made a query loop to output these
computer skills and checkboxes. I have also made structure
variables so that the selection of the specific computer skill
checkbox is retained for later use in the web application. If the
user checks any of the checkboxes, on submission of the form, the
structure value is updated from no to yes (and vice versa). This
part is working, and I am happy with it.
The problem I have is that I am unable to find a way to
individually indicate that the specific checkbox value is checked
or not. If the user selects the checkbox, submits the form and
returns to the form, the checkbox should still show as ticked as
the structure value of that checkbox is “yes” (as in
checked=”yes”). As I am using structures, adding
#currentRow# to the structure name inside the loop does not work,
as CF views this as a different structure name that is not
recognised. For example:
<cfloop query=”rsReturnComputerSkills
<cfinput type=”checkbox”
name=”computerSkill#currentRow#”
checked=”#structure.computerSkill##currentRow#”
</cfloop>
Essentially, I cannot place the dynamic structure value into
the checkbox input field.
I thought that using an array may overcome this, but alas I
encounter the same problem.
Is there a way to append #currentRow# to the structure name
or is there another way to achieve the same that I have not thought
of?Just list server gossip (so take with a large grain of salt).
But some
well regarded members have done simple timing tests and taken
a look at
the Java byte code generated. Evaluate() seems to be pretty
trim in the
latest versions of CFMX.
But I still try to avoid it, because while it may or may not
slow down
execution, it definitely can slow down development if you do
anything
more complicated then concatenate a simple string and a
variable.
Kevin Schmidt wrote:
> Interesting. Do you have the info on that Ian. As far as
I know, at least in the latest Advanced CF Course, Adobe/MM was
still saying that evaluate() brought with it a performance
degradation. -

How to find the form name from VA02 T.code
how to find the form name from VA02 T.code
Hi Rajyam,
I guess you are looking out for the formname which prints sales related documents.
If this is what you want,then go to the T-code NACE and select the option K1Sales activities and click on the Output Types button on the top.The new window has all the types of Output types listed.Select the most appropriate and double click on the Processing routines button in the left side screen.
The new window lists the program names and the forms associated with that output type.
In case you have any further clarifications,do let me know.

When you use a repeating background image does the browser only download it once and then repeat it on their computer? I wanted to use a gradient background image so I figure to cut down the dowload size I'd just take a 1 pixel wide slice and repeat
