Finding ALL MP3's on system and multiple drives??

I have thousands of MP3 files however with iTunes always copying and importing files I've lost track and think I have double and even triple of the same songs scattered across 3 hard drives. My question is, how do I use the Finder to get all my MP3's in one searchable window so that I can simply drag and drop in to a fresh clean folder and then delete everything else so that all MP3's are in one folder? Finder only comes up with about 400 or so MP3 files. I've looked at some of the files and all are labeled with ".mp3" and even if they weren't, they should still come up as an MP3 file. Thanks.

Please note to backup your registry before doing any changes on registry.

Finder stuck, can't find all desktop files including HD and eternal drives

Just installed the new Leopard. When I turn the computer on it brings the screen up minus all desktop files. Can't find any icon for Stack. I can access email and Safari (internet) but my Firefox won't work.
I tried putting in the Leoaprd installation disk again but with Finder spinning nothing happens. I can find some new icons in the dock (Downloads, Documents and Time Machine).
I have a backup copy of my files on an external drive but without Finder I can't access them.
Any suggestions?

I'm having the same problem except I have access to everything for 30 seconds, then everything disappears except the new background image. Nothing I click seems to change anything. I've wiped the drive with an archive and install to see if that fixes the issue.

AC 5.3 Logical systems and multiple Physical systems

HI all:
We have set up a Logical System, and then have hooked up 2 Physical systems to it. Based on the documentation from SAP, the rule set (and the way we set it up) is at the Logical system level.
Physical system #1 is reporting the correct results, however, Physical system #2 results are not complete. My understanding is that both Physical systems should be drawing from the rule set based in the Logical system.
Results: Physical system #1 - correctly identifies 10 risks
Physical system #2 - incorrectly only identifies 5 of the expected 10 risks.
Role assignment to user is exactly same, authorizations are exactly the same. The User/Role/Profile Full Sync has been repeated as part of troubleshooting.
Has anyone experienced this? I'm looking for ideas/options on where to investigate why the results are different.

Thanks for answering!! I'm having trouble understanding the answers, sorry.
When you have a logical system...you upload the rules once to that system, and generate them. Then when you set up a physical system and hook it up to the logical system...the 1st, 2nd or 3rd physical system....they all use the same ruleset. The whole concept (as I understand) is that the use of Logical and Physical systems...and putting the rule set on the Logical system so you don't have to worry about one rule set taking precedence over another, is an advantage, if this is possible (ie: we don't have multiple rule sets).
Where should I be checking that the risks are defined properly? The rule set is the delivered one from SAP. The functions and risks match what we had (plus more) in the CC 4.0 system.
The first physical system we set up (example: Development) works fine, and all regular SoD risks are coming up as expected. When we added another system (example: Test)...the results of SoD analysis were incomplete.
Does that help clarify? Perhaps I'm just missing something?

Rename SAP username - Find all references in the system

we want to rename (copy and create new sap user id) in our SAP system.
Now we have to find all objects and relationships where the old users are specified.
Is there a way how to find all program where the users are specified?
Z-Programs where users are specified?
Z-Customizing tables where users are specified?
Customizing settings where users are specified?
Any ideas?

Last time one of our user changed her last name we create new user id for her and then locked and deleted old account.
I don't think its possible to change username from all documents/objects/change documents which users has created under his/her id. The best, and the only way I think is to create new user id and delete/lock old one.

run the report RPR_ABAP_SOURCE_SCAN, give 'z*' in "Program name" field, and 'SPRAS' in "Find string" field, u'll get to know the places where SPRAS is used, modify those programs accordingly....

Find distribution model in source system and maintain filter in it

I have an inbound idoc which is in status 51(error). The procedure shown by SAP is following:-
It has been determined that the particular employee 11001189 has been received for the first time.
Maintain the filter of the appropriate distribution model. To do this, call transaction BD64 in the source system.
Add new filter group to the data filter. Assign values to it.
I cannot find the distribution model. Please somebody help me in finding the relevant distribution model in the source system. One more thing, when I went to BD64 I found that some of the model views were in grey shade while others were in bold, please tell me why is it so.
Please give me some hint.

You never maintain Filters in receivin system those has to me in sender system. Also you
need to distribute the Model from sender to receiver once you model is finalized thru menu
option in sender system. Find the Models with HRMD_A as message type
One more thing, when I went to BD64 I found that some of the model views were in grey shade

simple, If its greyed out then this model is maintained in some other system and is
just distrinuted over to this system, you shuld not maintain the greyed out entries as Maintaince
system is different. The non grey entires are those for which its same system in which the model
is created

Multiple Client Systems and Multiple Repositories

Hello,
The client I am working on is insisting that we create two repositories and connect one repository to an R/3 system, and one to an ECC system.
Can this be done?! I keep insisting that this is against the basic principle of MDM to have 'one single version of the truth' and that having different data in different repositories is not true MDM.
Can this even be done? Or can it be done if each repositories hold the same data?

I agree with Shiv that this totally depends on your business requirement. You can have two repositories if there is business requirement, only need to be taken care of Sizing. As you are keeping the same data in two repositories rather than one so as per performance you should take care of required memory, hard disk size etc.
e.g. There are scenarios where sometimes as per business requirement you have to create different repositories as per region. Like one for Europe, other for US etc.

Clean Install of Snow Leopard and Multiple Drives

I want to do a clean install of Snow Leopard because of various issues carried over from previous upgrades and the like. I have the original 250 GB ATA drive and a 1 TB ATA drive installed, plus a couple of other external drives available via USB and Firewire. I was wondering if there would be a recommended configuration of the install of the OS utilizing the multiple drives? i.e. using the 250 GB drive exclusively for the OS and the 1 TB drive for Applications, music files, photos, games, etc. would I have to make any specific changes to the location of any of the folders and would this create any problems when doing so? Am I over thinking this? I am a little confused as to how to approach this. Please help any advice will be appreciated! Thanks in advance!

What kind of issues? There are very few that warrant a clean install to eliminate & some that will just recur until you find & eliminate their real cause.

The only ones I recommend are those that dedicate a drive other than your normal startup one for backups. To be clear, I mean that the originals & the backups should be on entirely different drives, not just on different partitions of the same drive.

Yes, you are probably over thinking this.
There are some advantages to using a different drive for user files & possibly even for the entire user home folder, but there are also possible problems for any configuration different from the standard one with the OS, apps, & all user folders on the same startup drive. As already suggested, you can move large users folders for some apps like iTunes libraries to a different drive (or even split the media content among different drives) but unless you have a compelling reason to do so, it is much simpler to leave everything in the default configuration.

How do I get LR4 to find all photos in catalog after replacing hard drive on mac? question marks all

I had the hard drive replaced on my mac. I did a restore from back up drive to my new hard drive. First LR4 couldn't find the catalog so I pointed to it. Then I opened lightroom 4 and it cannot see ANY of my photos. I don't want to link each folder full of photos it will take hours. Isn't there another way to do this so it finds them all at once? Photos are still located in the same location on the new hard drive after restore. Nothing changed except the hard drive. Thank you!

I did find something in another post that suggests to go to the top most file in the structure and right click and click on "find missing folder" then you point to that folder and it will find all subfolders and photos. This really worked well for most of the photos but I have I must have moved at some point that I will have to relocate. This is good information whether you are working with a Mac or a PC. I think it would work for either. I hope this helps someone else out there.

   we can check their standard programs
   in this manner also.
2. goto se71
   open the layout in DISPLAY mode.
3. FORM------> CHECK -
> TEXTS
4. a small window will come.
    click ok (tick button)
5. Again a new window will come
which will list out all the DRIVER programs,
which use this layout.

Is there a way to find all config changes between clients and sap system

We have our Dev system with clients
310 - Developer make changes and create transport
400 - Test client
410 - a copy of our Production system (over 1 year ago0
TST - this is our quality system with one client
101
Production system one client

I know if i do a database copy from Production to our TST system, both systems would be exact.
Abaper Director wants to know all the configuration changes that are different between Devopment client 310 - Test and production.
I told him that in development client 310 the abaper or functional users make most of the changes if they do not get transported they would be missing.
I cannot copy to client 310 otherwise we would loose all of our version management.
Is there another way that I can see the config changes between all these clients.

Itunes not finding all .mp3 files

I retagged all of my mp3's and ever since then itunes only seems to recognize about half of them. I am not sure if it has to do with file name length or what but it gets almost exactly half of them when I tell it to import the folder. I have tried two other media programs and both of them import everything just fine. I was wondering if this is a known problem and, if so, if there is an easy fix for it. I have tried uninstalling itunes and del. the itunes folder in my music but it still doesn't work. Thanks in advance for any help.

Doing this with vanilla AppleScript and the Finder would take too long. There might be a way to do this with unix commands, but probably the best way to this would be to use the built in find for your system. I wouldn't search the whole computer. Maybe just search somewhere in your Home folder. Use a criteria like all files with extension jpg, tiff, tif, etc.. Then you can just drag the found files into whatever folder you want. You need to be cautious because you wouldn't want to move all files. For instance, you wouldn't want to move all pictures in your iPhoto library, other apps, or the System.
