Finding an answer to my question

I have asked a question, but I don't have a clue where to go to find my answer. I found that betting around this help area is quite difficult.
How and where do I find the answer which I asked earlier about adding sites to my favorites?

While logged in and on https://support.mozilla.com/en-US/questions
Look at the top for the [https://support.mozilla.com/en-US/questions?filter=my-contributions My Contributions] link.
If there is a few threads you want to monitor more easily even, then you could bookmark them in Firefox for time being. Also can bookmark the My Contributions link.

    I don't know how to find the answer to my first question, where do I go? 1st Q= How do I get the newer version of Firefox up and running (I have already downloaded it but don't know what to do next... including: can I just install the new version and start using it without rebooting? <- which is what I NEED to do [rebooting is much too problematic]

  • HT5312 i could not follow anything, it needs to be clearer, and i all i wanted was to find the answers to my questions, you told me how to make an itunes account. and i'm pretty sure the questions used to be "first teacher" and "favorite teacher"not partn

    HELP i just could not figure out how to find the answers to my security questions, and i do believe that the questions used to be "who was your first teacher" and "who was your favorite teacher" but now the second one is "where did you and your partner go on there first trip together, so now i'm wondering if i dont even have the answers anymore! why, have you changed the questions, and i really am having trouble following the help pages. i need help, it wont let me buy any songs or apps, so i've been saving the links and names to songs.

    We are fellow users on these forums, you're not talking to Apple or iTunes Support.
    If you have a rescue email address (which is not the same thing as an alternate email address) set up on your account then steps 1 to 5 on the page that you posted from should let you reset them : go to https://appleid.apple.com/ and click 'Manage your Apple ID' on the right-hand side of that page and log into your account, then click on 'Password and Security' on the left-hand side of that page and on the right-hand side you should see an option to send security question reset info to your rescue email address.
    If you don't have a rescue email address (you won't be able to add one until you can answer 2 of your questions) then you won't get the reset option - you will need to contact iTunes Support / Apple to get the questions reset.

    When they've been reset (and if you don't already have a rescue email address) you can then use the steps half-way down the page that you posted from to add a rescue email address for potential future use.

    If you posted a question and you want to see if someone replied an answer to your problem= Go to the forum home page and sign into the forum. At the top of the list of posts where it says Show: All | Unsolved | Solved | No Replies | My Contributions, click on my contributions and it'll show the list of your posts and the answers to your questions if anyone has replied to em'.

  • Can't get into the Login to find the answer to a question I asked

    I asked a question a week ago about why when I bookmark a page while I'm in firefox and drag it to my desktop, that when I go to open it, it comes up in Internet Explorer. I supposedly got an answer to my question but when I try to login it doesn't recognize me. I click on "my password doesn't work" and I never get a response from you in my email. Doesn't do much good if I can't get through to view my questions. Let me know how to fix this problem. Thanks, Mike

    I tried to purchase an iBook on my new iPad and it asked me to answer security questions and I have put the answers but it says they are wrong. I need to know how to either reset them or find what i had originally put as the answers

    Welcome to the Apple Community.
    Start here (change country if necessary) and navigate to 'Password and Security', reset your security questions using the link provided, you will receive an email to your rescue address, use the link in the email and reset your security questions.
    If that doesn't help, you don't receive a reset email or you don't have a rescue address, you should contact AppleCare who will initially try to assist you with a reset email or if unsuccessful will pass you to the security team to reset your security questions for you.
    If you are in a region that doesn't have international telephone support try contacting Apple through iTunes Store Support.

  • Will someone PLEASE help a desperate woman by telling me how to talk by phone to a real person at apple support. Cannot find an answer to my question and cannot find a phone number for support.

    I set up my new iPad under my daughters ID because her's is attached to my email. Tried to rent a movie from iTunes. Said I had to answer security questions since it was my first purchase. She didn't remember the answers. So it locked. She reset her password and everything works on her iPad but on mine it still wanting answers to the security questions and we don't have the answers (her questions could have multiple answers...favorite teacher, favorite friend). Is there a way to completely disconnect from her ID or can someone please share the phone number for customer support with me? Thanks so much in advance!

    Providing you know your ID and password, you should be able to rewrite your security questions. Start here, change your country if necessary and go to manage your account > password & security.

  • TS4008 Can't find an answer to this question.

    I will just break down the details simply and hopefully it makes sense.. A friend and I follow each other using Find my Friends. Only recently have we started having a problem, where in, I am not able to follow my friend, after we have already been following each other. On the app's screen it will have their name and it will say they are "a follower." But I am not able to follow their location. On their end, everything is seemingly fine.
    It doesn't even go as far as to say "location unavailable" (which would happen if they went incognito or stopped their location services, right?) when I tap on my friends name, just says that they are a "follower," again I cannot follow them. So I am having to re-invite them multiple times a day. Can anyone explain what is going on or how to fix this issue? Is it a known issue?
    Have closed the app, uninstalled, re-installed, updated iPhones to current software, reset phones. Have made each other "favorites." Don't know what else to do.

    According to Steve Wozniak's autobiography, "iWoz", the price of $666.66 was chosen solely because it was about the about of markup over the wholesale cost that they wanted and Steve liked repeating digits (in an interview he said that it was "an easier way to type"). Given the times - very, very early in the personal computer development - I doubt very much that they lost any sales due to someone's religious objections.

    I bought songs on my iPhone, but now iTunes on my PC cannot find them.  I can look at the songs/albums, but I cannot listen to them.  AT ALL.  I had deleted some songs from the phone because I assumed that, when I'd synced the phone with the PC the songs would be there for me to transfer back later.  But they're not there.  And the support articles are completely useless.  And then, when I tried to email support, the email wouldn't go through.  I am disgusted.

  • Adobe rep Sudarshan told me I could find an answer to my question here. So here goes.

    This afternoon I purchased humansoftware's “Vintage” plug-in for Photoshop CS6 for at the Adobe website. I tried to install it on my Mac with Adobe’s Extension Manager CS6. But I failed repeatedly. I kept getting the message, “An unexpected error occurred while attempting to verify this extension."
    Any suggestions?

    Station, if the Vintage plugin works like an Extension Panel, then whoever suggested the Adobe installer might have been thinking on the Extension Manager.  The CC EM is really good now, with things happening automatically through the CC Desktop Application Manager.  I wee bit like Typekit which syncs your fonts in real time so long as you are signed in to the AM.
    The Vintage plugin might work by overlaying layers and blend modes, like Russell Brown's Flypaper Textures panel, in which case it would use the Extension Manager to install.   I have no idea how well the CS6 Extension Manager works, and Frank does seem to have had a bunch of problems, so all I am saying is that Adobe installers work really well with CC Extensions.

    Apple Products: 2 IPAD 2's. iMac, 2 Iphone4S, iphone 3S, Ipods.  I have 1 itunes account and make play list, for each device that needs to sync, but it seems I might have to have multiple accounts?  Also same thing with photo library on my iMac.  I would not want to have multiple accounts if I don't need to.  But it seems the ipads can not send Messaging or use the Apple talk to each other because I use the same Itunes account?  There is no manuls to set these up.  If just one person, all would work fine.  But this is a family....

  • Searching but can't find an answer to my question

    I am relatively new to the world of Mac and I think I am adjusting well but I have been trying to get my printer to connect wirelessly through an airport express since August with no luck. The printer works fine if connected directly to my macbook but when I try to choose the printer through bonjour I get an error 9672 message. I see the printer in the bonjour window but it gets the error when trying to add the printer. Can anyone help???????????

    #1 I want to know if you can sort the menu's on my ipod itself, not on itunes. I'd like to sort the main menu alphabelically as well as everything in the submenus. Any clue on how to do this?

    Can iTunes download my calender & contacts from palm rather than outlook? There is a dropdown menu but only outlook shows up.
